  I got an error on one of my ESX host in VC. The message "did not".

  7 VM are currently connected to this host and they seem to all run normally.

  I was able to connect to the host command line, but was a bit of difficulty in processing orders, they seem to cling. (ex: vmware-cmd - l does not give me an answer...)

  So I tried to restart the service mgmt-vmware:

  VMware ESX Server Host Agent Watchdog

  VMware ESX Server host agent

  This is where to stop.

  I also tried just stop the service (mgmt-vmware stop) and he still gets that far.

  I had this problem today with one of our ESX host. If you are running:

  ps - ef | grep vmware - pass

  You should see something like:

  root 3545 3504 1 11:40?        00:00:12 / usr/lib/vmware/hostd/vmware-hostd /etc/vmware/hostd/config.xml u

  You can kill the process of:

  Kill - 9 < PID > (e.g. kill 3545-9)

  Then you should be able to restart the service mgmt-vmware . In fact, if you are already trying to restart the service, he will suddenly hit by action. I do not know what causes this, but it will not affect your running virtual machines.

  I upgraded from an environment of Snow leopard server to the El Capitan 5.0.15 server.

  The server is running on a mac mini, which is now about 2 weeks old basis.

  Follow the instructions in the DNS settings. Hosts such as www.example.com work perfectly well.

  However, the server does not resolve example.com. On Snow Leopard server, I used to create records for hosts like example.com as www.example.com, but this seems to be not not more possible.

  A particular website does not load, and I was previously able to view this site about 2 weeks ago. It's a free WordPress site/blog.

  I keep getting the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache with no success. I also tried a "DNS Flusher" with the same result.
  

  I followed all the recommendations on the link using Firefox and checked the FAQ and community sections with no luck.

  I can view the page in Safari. The owner of the website can view this website using a configuration similar to mine (Mac OS 10.5, Firefox 12.0).

  Nothing I know have changed since I was able to view this site 2 weeks ago for example, I'm not going through a proxy server, nor do I have any secondary security or anti-virus running.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  My guess is that the file is not in the right place. Check the location and your ORACLE_HOME environment variable.

  It should be in $ORACLE_HOME/database for windows, $ORACLE_HOME/dbs for real operating systems.

  The preferences of TopSites is maybe damaged.

  Quit Safari.

  Open the Finder.

  In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

  Now, copy and paste the following text:

  ~/Library/Safari/TopSites.plist

  Then click OK, and then place the TopSites.plist file in the trash.

  Relaunch Safari then try TopSites.
