  I have problems playing music on my 8330. When I arrive at the end of a song, the player will stop with just 2 seconds left, or the machine will stop and re boots as if I made a sweater battary.

  It started as soon as I loaded the new blackberry software verson 4.5.0.127

  I got a replacement Bell 8330, but the problem persists.

  Re, I formatted my memory card, and even deleted all the music files and load them again with the Roxio software. No luck

  I loaded one of the songs on my 8330 wife and it worked fine.

  I have a replacement blackberry again when I'm back from my next shift, but I'm not convinced that this will solve the problem.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Thanks for the tip.  I tried this morning and still had the same result, but I could see more details on media files.  Specific, I have seen that almost all media files were Windows Media files (only a few were MP3).

  I've tested a few and I saw that the MP3 files play without any problem.

  I converted my music files and that seems to have solved the problem.

  So for anyone having the same problem, try to look at the details of the file.  If it was registered as a wmv file test convert to MP3 (your Roxio software can do this re loading files) and you can have the fix.

  If someone can tell me why does not support the new media player wmv would be great.

  SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! I just bought the new 8130 Pearl... I can't get music on it! (I bought 2 songs via iTunes) I tried to use BB Media Sync and it just won't... I tried dragging and droping and it doesn't...

  First of all, there could be a major problem: Blackberry will not play purchased or purchased iTunes with iTunes DRM Digitial rights on the file.

  There is a common method to remove DRM WMA, M4P in 2 steps:
  1 burn the DRM WMA, M4P on a CD.
  2 rip the DRM WMA, M4P from CD on your computer in MP3, then the DRM format should be removed from the WMA files.

  99% are there but there is, from the same album, for example, who are absent.   These music files are available in your BlackBerry music player, but not indexed properly.

  the music player is exclusively based on the ID3tags of each song, so if these tags are missing or incorrect (song name = "temp"), so it is difficult for you to select to play.

  There is a Herculean job, which is to find all these files and use iTunes or other software like VLC or Songbird, to fill the ID3tags correctly.

  You can do it manually, or perhaps your tool can get the info on the internet.

  Once done, Resync and it should be OK.

  The SIM card is located under the battery, you will see a metal locking slider. The memory card is not the same as the SIM card. Make sure you align the contacts of the same side. Close the guide wire and reglissez in place.

  Regarding the sound quality, the speaker has lack a little low, but once you plug in headphones, the quality is more than average, meaning better an iPod.Usability is different though, as there are no wheel clicky as on iPods.

  I use the BB software to sync my music without DRM from iTunes to my Storm but for some reason, when I play the song on the storm and I switch from portrait to landscape view, the song stops and the next is played.  I also get a generic error message 'Error play.'  It is the second time that I have synced, and it didn't happen the first time.  Everyone knows this?

  No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated. Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  Hi, I downloaded music players, itunes and Windows Media Player, but now I wanted to keep only the itunes music on my BB.

  But I deleted the music using Windows Explorer, then in charge of music itunes with BB Desktop Manager.  The problem is, when I run the music player, it shows all of the deleted songs, blue bar research shows at heart, but he doesn't move.

  If I try to play one of the songs that shows, but I already deleted, he plays another song from itunes.

  Any suggestions?

  Nevermind, I solved the problem.  I used the old proverb, 'when you get stuck, just hit reset.

  I turned off the phone, removed the battery, reseating, turn it on and it now recognizes the current songs stored on the device.

  I recently downloaded Blackberry media sync to my desktop and loaded some songs from my itunes library on my Blackberry.  The 12 songs are in my section of music on my Blackberry, but how can I assign one of these songs as a ringtone to a person especially in my address book?  I can't get the song moved into my ringtones.

  UPWARDS is good... you want to select a period, and up until you see the ringtones folder.

  Then you are going to select the ringtones folder, and once IN this folder, you select Menu > select here.

  So think in terms of a tree structure.
