• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" playing music to lift itself

  Since yesterday, my Blackberry "BOLD" started playing music to lift itself.  The only way I can get it to stop is to make a phone call.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to do to stop this?

  I doubt it's water or physical damage. Could be... simply not something I've seen.

  I tried to upgrade my software today to ver *. 181 everything was fine except when my phone data had to be restored back (step 10 of 10). Where is my application crashed and I had to reboot my Desktop Manager. But now he don't ask me to restore data, or update anything.

  Search your entire hard disk for files with the extension of the RPI (*.ipd). What are the backup files created by DTM. Choose which is the correct (very probably by the time of the file) and then use it as a source for restoring:

  I installed the USB drivers for the storm and installed the Desktop Manager. It clearly shows that he can see the BlackBerry and can check the updates and everything.   Sorry to jump in. When you're connected, you have active storage media. When you make a return for the instance, this mode should be activated. If it is enabled in the first place, that the media sync will not work. Try it with power off mass storage and see if it works.

  Hi, I downloaded music players, itunes and Windows Media Player, but now I wanted to keep only the itunes music on my BB.

  Whenever I try to listen to music on a low volume, like to talk to my friends at the same time or falling asleep to music, it tends to get... really hard.

I'm afraid for my health if I can I become deaf to this, and I like listening to music too much on "put it down" or "buy an apple product."

  I've never had this problem when it happened 10 days ago.

  As I use a high-quality headphones (Shure SE210), I always use the lowest volume.
  Except when I make phone calls (I don't have the microphone, so either I use the phone on my ear, or use the official headset with Microphone to the RIM. In both cases, I always increase the volume until I can hear people I talk too much.

  After receiving a phone call, the music will resume, and I hear the same (very low) which I like. Then the next song arrives, and I get the phone call volume level (meaning: very strong since I still use my Shure SE210). It's really annoying.

  I called my voicemail and set the volume to the lowest audible, and had no problems after that.

  Bottomline:
  I think that this is not a problem of memory, rather a small glitch that affects people who use high-quality headphones.

  Workaround solution:
  Turn down the volume while phonecalling
  or do you have a battery pull
  or (perhaps, I wasn't looking) set the default volume for calls to be anything that "same as last time."

  Your device is used.  Your description of the boot sequence indicates that it is a Vodafone branded device.  This Vodafone startup screen can never be changed.  As long as the device is unlocked, you can use it on your support.

  In addition, you must have a BlackBerry data plan to your account with your wireless service provider.  It is probably what you were told the camera.

  That said, you can probably learn the operating system to v7.1 by performing a clean OS reload.  Here are some instructions:

  5 use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

When I go into the phone to listen to music and try to veiw the music by browsing through music > artists or Albums or by Genre, it displays the name of the fine lists, artists all but when I choose the artist he says there is no music by this artist. On the other hand if I choose to access music music > songs, all songs are listed and they all play fine. Since all songs submenu if I play a song and then select the album from there he told yet, no music to the album title.
