  First things first - before you remove anything to say the following prayer:

  iPad - settings - general - use - manage storage - see how much space is taken up by music

  Also connect the iPad to a computer running the latest versions of iTunes

  On the left - click on summary and look at the bar of color at the bottom - post a photo if possible - but you should clearly see how much space is devoted to music

  Now, if you want the music off iPad - you must uncheck in iTunes and sync then - no backup - that clears music off iPad

  Hello

  I recently bought a new Mini iPad (16 GB, wifi + cell) the model number is A1490.  The reference is ME814JA.  It seems that it is a model of the iPad Mini Japanese market.  What I thought I ordered was the MF074LL/A.

  Despite many searches on the internet, I don't know what are the distinct differences in the device.  My main goal is to use it on a cellular network, and I thought that I had bought a compatible AT & T device.  Now, I'm not sure.

  So a few questions:

  (1) I opened the box (which seems to be the original packaging) but do not want to reveal the iPad incase I need to send it back.  There was no SIM card in the box, so is there a SIM card inside the device?

  (2) if there is no SIM card in there, it's just an unlocked device which will take any SIM card?  Oddly, I entered the IMEI number AT & T site to find an appropriate SIM card, then when he pushed me for a postal code to activate a plan, U-verse came and I have not had no availability of the service in a zip code was based on my iPad previous Mini cell service.

  (3) what are the cellular limits of this device?  Will be the SIM card, either included or purchased (based on IMEI #) works on the standard AT & T network?

  I can only answer question #1 - SIM card is always inside the SIM tray (pre-installed in the device of the iPad). I don't know anything about iPad for the Japanese market. If it is a model sold in the Apple store us, I guarantee you that it is unlocked. You can use any SIM card of nano.
