iPad Retina display battery mini

I would like to know if my battery is normal I traded my iPad and I want to the battery on it die faster, but I don't know if it's just me being paranoid, watching YouTube videos the battery goes down one percent about every 6 or 7 minutes the same thing when Netflix I look and I'm not the person to have the brightness all the way to the top. He's going a pecent down all 10 or 11 minutes when surfing the web on almost low light and the battery dies so fast that watching videos when I play games, could sombody pls help I just want to know if it is to exhaust the normal battery or its me obsessed about the smallest things.

According to the spec page, a Mini iPad battery should give about 10 hours of use - 10 hours is 600 minutes, so go down 1% of all 6 minutes should

iPad Mini 4: http://www.apple.com/ipad-mini-4/specs/

Up to 10 hours of surf web on Wi - Fi, watching video, or listening to music

iPad 2 Mini has the same hours 10: http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-mini-2#tech-specs

  • How to get JOT 6s iPhone app to connect via iCloud to JOT in iPad Retina display.

It would be first class for iCloud performance if my JOT application in my iPad (Retina display model) could bind to the JOT app in my iPHone 6 s 64 GB. Does anyone have the path to the link to the app JOT of both devices?

  • Scaling Flex Mobile project with iPad Retina display (3rd generation).

    Adobe and al.,.

With the new iPad 3 we have now a ton more pixels to use. I know well and have already tested AIR 3.1 + compiler command line option (-platformsdk) for the Retina display on the new iPad. In ActionScript projects mobile, the content is rendered beautifully on the new iPad. But with Flex Mobile projects, something happens that forces him to render incorrectly. It is the retina-fine screen, but the size is too small.

Here is a picture WITHOUT the construction tag - platformsdk, which causes the application to be doubled to fit on the new iPad to pixel:

    FB_Non_Retina.PNG

Note that it is scaled proportionally, even while the text and the items are a bit pixelated. Not a big deal, but noticeable on the device.

This image is taken with the rendering of the app to the retina (the platformsdk - pointing to iOS SDK 5.1 setting):

    FB_Retina.PNG

As you can see, text components are made really clear, but the scale is far away. Obviously, it's getting the width of 2048 x 1536 of the device, but it is much too small.

How can I fix it? I tried to change the applicationDPI, but it doesn't fix it. Setting a width/height of 1024 x 768 has nothing either. It seems that we have to overrride a behavior that causes all so small adjustment.

    A little help?

    Thank you

Richard Lord posted a blog yesterday using the iPad screen retina with Adobe Air and one of the things I noticed is that the new iPad returns a 132 DPI, the specs say that the device is 264 ppi. I don't have one of the new iPads, so I can't test this, but it seems that it is just a case of the return the wrong DPI device which is something that has happened before. I could check the section to this page titled "substitute the default DPI" and see what happens if the device return 240 when running on the new iPad.

  • Question about the app for iPad retina

    Hello.

I searched on this subject, but everything I found was opposed to what I was looking for.

    I developed an application (AIR 3.7.0.1530, Flash CS6), full resolution: 2048 x 1536.

While I'm checking this app on iPad 2, it works very well and shows everything because I set stage.scaleMode property of ScaleMode.SHOW_ALL. Even if it's a bit ragged, but I am satisfied with the quality.

What I can't find is, if I download it from the App Store, it will be available for the iPad 2 as well or it can be installed on the iPad retina display?

    Thank you.

    Hey Yusuf,.

As far as I know any application created in the AIR will work on any device you set in the

    UIDeviceFamily

Of the application descriptor, if you '2' in there (if you already iPad which means this is already install), this means so that it runs on all iPads little matter how your application actually looks at the screen.

    ------

While it is fine, running a 2048 x 1536 on an iPad 1, 2 application or Mini will drastically effect the performance of the application, it can even crash on iPad memory 1 if there are too many things on the screen. Is generally good practice to create applications that can evolve around the appliance connection dynamically to the resolution correctly well.

Anyway to answer your question directly:

Your application will be available for all iPads. (unless you lock the version iOS to 6 +, which means the iPad 1 is not included)

    Hope that helps,

    O.

  • IPad retina always requires specifying the iOS SDK version in ADT AIR 3.7?

According to this page, you must specify iOS SDK 5.1 in the ADT command line when you want to take in charge the retina screens:

    http://www.richardlord.net/blog/using-the-iPad-retina-display-with-Adobe-Air

Is it always true for AIR 3.7 or is it now defaults to iOS SDK 5.1 and works for the screens of the retina without additional indication in the ADT?

    Thank you!

You need to use SDK 5.1 or a later version. AIR uses 6.0 or 6.1 now, so the retina is ok without any special tricks.

  • AIR App on iPad retina

    Hello

    Just ask a fundamental question.

I want to compile with IOS SDK 5 in order to get the full display of an iPad capabilities 3 retina. But if I submit this app on the app store, how will devices running on iOS4 will react?

What I have to develop 2 apps for iOS5 and another for iOS4? Then, how the appstore will make the difference?

    Thanks for any help

You don't need not develop separate applications for iOS 4 and iOS 5. You should not use the option - platformsdk to package the application AIR to be able to use full of an iPad retina display capabilities since AIR 3.3 mmee supports iOS SDK 5.1. You can find more details here.

In addition, you must set requestedDisplayResolution> tag to highapplication descriptor.

  • 3 Retina Display Flex Mobile IPad

I've developed an application mobile flex in recent weeks. My concern is the new Retina display. The IPad 3 will automatically use the Retina display? Is anyway to force the IPad 3 do NOT use the retina display. I'm too long to do again it.

    Thank you

The twinning is automatic, it does a good job.

To use the native resolution, you have to compile using SDK 5.1, if you have not done this, it will be actually 1024 x 768.

    So, don't worry about it.

  • MacBook Air 13 vs MacBook Pro 13 Retina Display

Hello! I worked as a teacher in a dental school & I'm an orthodontist by Profession.

So far, I was using a Windows laptop. Now, I am planning to buy a MacBook.

I did some research and I found two best options:

MacBook Air 13 inch or Macbook Pro 13 inch Retina display

My work includes the drafting of documents, Internet browsing, electronic mail, preparation of presentations. We also regularly take pictures of our patients. I will also use the software of management of patients. Watch movies from time to time.

Please help me to choose between the two options above.

What configuration (RAM & storage) agree?

I intend to keep the MacBook for next 5-6 years.

I also read in some messages that some changes are in the pipeline for Macbook Air in this year.

There are always changes in the "pipeline" but we do not know what they are and we are discouraged from their review.

If what you have described is your needs, an MBA and a MBP has them will satisfy.  As I see it, it's a matter of your preference of views respective (classic vs retina) and costs are related.  The MBA has long battery life and is lighter than the MBP, but maybe it's not important to you.

    Ciao.

Addendum: as a general rule, install at least 8 GB of RAM and get as much storage as the bank account permits.  The processor speed is by far the less important material.

  • MacBook Pro with the Retina display problem

I put my 2013-model MacBook with Retina display to sleep and tried to turn it on the next day, but he had no answer. I've loaded and kept cool for about 8 hours, but the battery would not get full and it won't always turn. The next day, I continued to load and left for a few hours then disconnected it and in the night I tried again and quite normally on and nothing seems to be wrong! Any idea on what and why it happened?

This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop forum.

  • How to connect an old 23 "Cinema Display to a MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina display

I have an old 23 "Cinema HD Display, part number M9178LL/A and want to connect it to a recent MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina display 2104.

The Cinema Display has a power adapter and 3 USB, Firewire connectors and a DVI (think that's what it's called).

The MacBook Pro has USB, Thunderbolt, and HDMI ports.  I have a crush on Firewire adapter, but I don't know what I need to plug the DVI or if it will work.

I also remember that years ago Apple sold "docks", so that you can use your laptop with a keyboard and a standard monitor.  Is this always the case?

    If anyone can help?

    Thank you very much.

Adapt you the Thunderbolt computer monitor DVI connection (use a Mini DisplayPort adapter) or HDMI port. USB and FireWire connections are only needed if you plan to use the screen as a hub.

  • You just bought a 13 "MacBook Pro with the Retina display. What are some tips you have for me to make this thing last? It's my first MacBook.

I just bought a brand new 13 "MacBook Pro with the Retina display (no, I didn't wait for the new version of 2016). It's my first MacBook.

I'm looking for advice on what I can to make this last as long as possible. You guys have any advice for me of past experiences or knowledge? It will be greatly appreciated!

Don't drink near him.  A spill will ruin the MBP and not be covered by the warranty.

Treat the battery using these instructions from Apple:

  • Help: What is causing these whirring sounds! The MacBook Pro 13, retina display. Bought December 2014.

Help: What is causing those whirring sounds that started today! I have a MacBook Pro 13 ", the retina display. I bought my MBP on 28/12/2014; is today 23/12/2015, so I'm in a one year warranty. I ran a diagnostic equipment this morning and she said my battery needed replacement, but I can't imagine a battery would create a whirring sound. Thoughts/ideas? Thank you!

PS - Apple needs better/more emoticons, IMO.

If the said hardware diagnostic test the batteries need maintenance, I suggest that you call your Apple store to make an appointment to have them check the battery. When you bring it ask them about whirring sounds.

  • HP ePrint mobile app on iPhone 4 & iPad retina - both devices say «Photos (0)»

I just installed HP ePrint mobile app on my iPhone 4S and my iPad retina. However, when I go in the application, when the main screen is displayed ('Photos'-'cloud'-'Web'-'Email'), when I type 'Photos', on every device it says: 'Photos (0)' - that is, I guess the app think I have 'zero photos' on both devices, which is obviously not true. Other details: (1) I have a Photosmart 7510 on my home wireless network; (2) I am able to print OK for the 7510 using Apple "AirPrint" - no problem; (3) I can also print using a device (iPhone or iPad) using the HP app 'PrinterControl '. So, how HP ePrint mobile app can not 'see' my photos on my iPhone or iPad (especially now that they can 'see' these pictures when you use the HP app "PrinterControl"). Thank you in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this situation.

The problem is related to the privacy settings on ios 6. To solve this, go to settings on your device and you should see a section of privacy. From there go to photos and turn on the eprint application. It should work to allow you to see the pictures.
