  The lack of compatibility of the HP Smart Web printing add-on shouldn't stop a printer HP to work with Firefox - all you lose is this stupid floating toolbar and adds some features.

  File > print or {Ctrl + P} should begin printing again, so all you have to do is make sure that the correct printer is selected, and then click the OK button.

  My advice is to try to the reset mentioned in this article.

  There is a little weird problem which continues to be in my Firefox browser. It involves my taskbar and happens almost every time I use Firefox. Not sure when it started, seems like after that I upgraded to 11.0 FF but don't hold me to that. In any case, here is what I see behind my buttons of windows and applications open in my taskbar, I can see part of another button that is labeled as 'open all tabs '. Every so often, the button actually displays in front of my other buttons on the taskbar. I have my OS (Windows7 (64-bit) set to run with the best performance and Classic view if that could make a difference. I also note more frequent periods of FF becomes out of order, when I opened the Task Manager and close FF, the dialog box shows that it is 3 windows open when I have only 2 browser windows open.

  Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is correct, you can later copy the necessary personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in a different location (folder profile) separated from its files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options, and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in tools > Add-ons) and their parameters. In addition, a new profile would have no previous website stored data/settings etc, (Tools > clear recent history).

  I tried to download itunes on an xp pc. so, I dragged the software on my computer laptop win 7 on a pin code reader. I then put this USB key in office xp pc. He said that there is no file in the software (not exactly). put it back in my computer win 7 and clicked on the little next tab to open it with and and I went to the PIN folers readers clicked on it then all my default programs thing was this installer. so now all I can do is open that. right now it says all my default program is regedit. that I have no idea what is.   I've never seen the tabs for the calendar vanish as you describe. Hope it was just a small problem of passage.

  You should still be able to get to your calendar via the menu, the button "hamburger" with three lines, or the regular menu, which if it is not visible, should appear when you press the < alt > key.

  I use Vista Home Premium on a Dell XPS M1330. All this worked fine for about three months. I could browse other computers on my network (3 running on XP Home and a Ubuntu running with Samba). The Dell is connected via a wireless connection and the rest of the computers are connected via a wired connection.

  What kind of security is underway on the wireless connection?  In addition, is the computer wireless on a different subnet, by chance?

  On the wireless computer running Windows Vista:

  • Click the ball to Start .
  • Under Search type cmd , then press on enter.
  • Type ipconfig and press ENTER.

  It should return an IP address, something like 192.168.1.2.  Compare the number after the second point (1) to those on the wired connection and see if there is a difference.

  On the Windows Vista-based computer, click the Start orb, then network.  Near the top of this window where stand you "category name workgroup network", click the down arrow next to each of these categories and make sure you are filtering for computers, the correct workgroup, etc...

  You can also check the settings on the router wireless and make sure that it allows to browse the network.

  It is customary not to connect the printer to the computer until the driver/software is finished or the driver/software installation process you ordered.

  Do you have the same two tabs when you launch a new window (Ctrl + n) or only at startup?

  You can check your extensions in case something snuck in. You can view and clear the page modules. Either:

  • Command + shift + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
