My account Adumim - Windows 8 PC locked out

Okay, so I signed up yesterday in my PC as I normally do with my PIN four-digit. After I registered I left my only computer, causing it to switch to "standby" mode. When I tried to sign in, I realized that my enter key was a top task, so I wiped it while pressing the key several times. It's the only thing I've done out of the ordinary, so I think that's what caused the problem. Which brings me to the next point, the problem. I know that my PIN, but I do not know my password and pressig who enter kry several times, seems to have caused my pc to swith the opening of my rather pin password code and I can't change it to the PIN or sign in to my account. Please, someone help me and his mercy on typo or grammar one errors

error, im on my mobile device. Thank you

If you enter the wrong PIN code several times, Windows treats the computer was stolen and requires that you type your password to set.  If you're not, the solution is to clear your computer and start over.  We are not allowed to help you bypass your password (how do we know that the computer was not stolen?)

However, if you have another administrator level account on your computer, you can use that to reset your forgotten password.  If there is no administrator account on the system, you can start safe mode to access the built-in Administrator account.  Since this fail-safe account, you can force - reset your account password.

  1. Press + I to display the menu of charm.
  2. Click the Power Options icon, and then hold down the SHIFT key while you click the Restart option. Keep now shift until the screen shows it restarts.
  3. On the first screen that appears, select troubleshooting, and then select Advanced Options. Finally, choose the boot settings and click Restart.
  4. On the next screen, press the number 4 to choose Safe Mode.

Now that you are in safe mode, you can use the backup Administrator account built for perform you a necessary recovery. Built in Administrator account should not be used for any other purpose, or it is not available in such situations when you need it.

  1. On the login screen, click on the arrow icon, and then select the administrator account.
  2. After the Safe Mode boot, press on + W and open the control panel / user accounts.
  3. Select manage another account, and then select the account you want to switch to an administrator account. You can also use the option change password here to reset the password of the other account.

When finished, restart the computer normally.

  • My Windows Tablet 8 locked out

I have a Dell place Pro 10 I just bought.  I took in a meeting and could not connect because I forgot my password. I tried a few different things (they were near right) but was not able to participate.  When I got home, I looked at the password, but when I started my tablet, instead of going in the newspaper on the page it just showed my name and email. I tried everything (dragging, Sting, etc.), but nothing works.

I even plugged on my desk, but it wouldn't recognize it (perhaps because the office is Win 7).

I had thought to restrict access using gpedit would apply to non-administrative users. Evil. I enabled "Run only specified applications" with the possibility of one customer to run application. Now I have myself blocked basically to do anything on the PC. Is there anyway to access gpedit as an admin so I can solve this?

No, we have finally found a web page that has a solution. There is a file that can be deleted to remove the policy. I believe that we have started in safe mode with command prompt, delete the file and everything worked.

  • Windows 7 has become my comments login and I'm locked out of admin

    Hello

I've been running W7 Pro 64 bit very happy for two months. When I installed, I made a user account for me with admin privileges (I'm the only user on this machine). All of a sudden yesterday I noticed that I could not do some things and on investigation found that W7 has become my admin account a guest one. Same account name, icon, the user files, but no right! I did nothing to cause it, as far as I know, it just happened. I don't think it's a virus, Kaspersky certainly is not report anything.

I tried to boot from the DVD and by defining the built in Administrator account, but that the command window told me that the command executed successfully, when I restart I see no administrator account. Because I'm the only user I had previously defined netplwiz to connect automatically and I can't disarm that - I just get a window saying 'entry password administrator to run netplwiz' but there is no password box, probably because that there is no administrator account on the system.

I seem to be completely locked out from changes to the admin of my system. First thing I will do when I get the machine working again, is to create an alternative admin account to use if it never happens again, but for now, I'm completely stuffed.

    Can someone help, please?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

UPDATE: I booted in safe mode with command prompt and run lusrmgr.msc to view accounts. Administrator account is here, just can't see on login screens. I thought that the administrator password should be blank (or perhaps the same one that I put in place with my initial admin-level account), so I tried shift-right-click netplwiz and selecting run as another user, and then typing in Administrator and white as well as a selection of passwords possible. No joy. It does not accept any combination of names of users and passwords.

So, how to use the administrator account?

    Aaaaaargh!

I have fixed my problem on Windows 7 guest user.  The problem is after I added the computer successfully in my area, I decided to change the name of the computer. So I changed the name and the past of the domain to the working group. After rebooting I connected under the no original domain account, I created, but it was no longer a member of the administrator group and has been labeled as guest user account type.  I had not enabled the administrator account.

The solution: press F8 at startup for Advanced Startup Options.  Select the option 'Safe Mode with command prompt'.  I was given the opportunity to log on as an administrator, and I did.

I entered my orders, first to change the admin password then command to activate the administrator account:

"password net user administrator"-password the password to use.  (Password must meet complexity requirements)

"net user administrator / Active: Yes.

Computer restarted and I is presented with the option to connect as administrator.  Connected and managed to create a new account and add to the domain.
