I found the product key # by 'JellyBean' but it wouldn't work. I contacted Microsoft who sent me to HP that stated that this laptop was made in Middle East and could not help me. (The keyboard is equipped for English and Iranian, I think. I cannot download IE and can't find answers from Microsoft because apparently I don't have a genuine copy of Windows 7! Heck, this computer hp pavillion laptop has windows 7 when I bought it! I even called Tiger pawn and they told me that it was purchased without the installation disk. Help! At the start, I always have this horrible "DNSunlocker" virus/malware.

  I did this before on my own just see if I liked better. I did not so I went back to the Windows 7 look. In your case, there are a few different scenarios that can cause this.

  1. your theme has changed without your consent. -You can fix this with a right-click on your desktop and go to personalize . Change your theme to one that you have registered or by using the Windows 7 default labeled "Windows 7" theme. From there, you can simply add your images to customize your wallpaper.

  2. your Visual effect have been replaced by 'adjust for best results' .

  Open the menu 'Start' and right-click on computer . Go to Properties .
