  Yes, there are several comments about it. Mine is slow on MacOSX as well - in addition to iPadAir2 and iPhone6s.

  I saved and restored then notes and who worked for a week or two. Then returned to slow down again.

  I have about 1 500 notes or 1 GB in total for most any of Evernote.

  No doubt to contact Apple support. Suspecting a problem with iCloud. Access the same 1 500 notes when stored locally on my iMac (not iCloud) is fast and smooth.

  I sent a complaint to their "feature request" area of their site of support as well.

  Sounds like you are unable to use your music app because it keeps closing in on you untimely. I would start by exit music:

  Force an app to close the iOS

  1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
  2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.

  When you have done this restarts the phone and test the question again:

  iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset
  
  If the problem persists, I would next turn off Apple music and see if the problem persists after that:

  Go to settings > music...

  I can verify that is does not seem to work off Twitter or new. It is possible, there is a fix in the next update of iOS (she already in beta).
