  I just upgraded to LR5 CC & the adjustment brush is not working properly. No matter what I put on it darkens only where I paint. As you can see in the attached screenshots, I have the adjustment brush sent exposure + 4, Flow 100, density 100, and those areas where I painted (once with toothbrush and once with the brush B) is clouded, rather than reduced. Use any cursor (temp, tinted, clarity, no matter), this is the result - area I paint is obscured. I tried to quit & restart LR and it does not solve it. I use LR5.7.1 on an iMac with OS X 10.9.5.   Thank you for your help. I worked through your suggestions when I disconnected my second screen, before be reset something and my laptop is back to 100% on Firefox. Don't know exactly what happened but when I plugged the screen back in it remained at 100 percent. Will play even more and try to find what's new.

• Cannot access the system files with permissions to access EFS and certificate are set correctly.

  I am running EFS on a secondary internal hard drive on my computer Vista Enterprise SP1.  I have been using EFS for a few months with no problems.  Recently, when you try to access a number of files, I started getting access denied errors.  I'm still under the same certificate with same file permissions that I was when I originally encrypted the files.  Curiously, I can move, delete and rename files without problem, but I can not access, copy, or decrypt.  I tried reseting the file permissions, nothing done.  An excerpt from the command line:

  By default, the files on a NTFS drive are displayed in

  Black for normal files
  Blue for compressed NTFS files
  Green for the encrypted files (Windows Encrypting File System)

  If you don't like it, open a Windows Explorer window, click Tools > Folder Options > view and uncheck the box for "Show encrypted or NTFS compressed in color."  If you wish, click on the "Apply to all folders" button (you will apply all the settings for any folder you have open to all records).

  Could be a broken monitor profile. Switch display icc profile Adobe RGB or sRGB standard if you have a normal screen space, if you have a screen wide gamut. If this is useful, it is likely that a broken profile.

  In addition, the only way to make sure you see what looks like an impression (on your screen) is to use a unit of calibration as a Culor Munki or Spyder.

  Apparently, there was a problem with my InDesign CS6 program. I uninstalled properly, but have not been able to re - install. I downloaded the new files and machines goes through all the steps correctly. But then, I get the error message that the program could not be installed. I have no problem with other Adobe products. I'm going crazy: I have a big project due soon and it requires InDesign. Help!
