  On your device, go and move all these photos to the media card.  Plug in the device, then drag them from the media card reader with the workstation.

  I changed a 8310 > 9000 > 9700 and all of them (I create a backup) show I have 33 messages but in mailboxes I have nothing. There is no hidden etc folders

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  First time using this forum so ill try my best to explain my situation.

  I have a Blackbery curve 8520. Until recently he worked perfectly but it has since not load websites, even when connected to the internet. My BBM works perfectly however. I have saved, rebooted and ensured that data services are on. I contacted my network provider and they said it's a blackberry issue thean rathr a network one.

  Any help is greatly appreciated, I really want to listen to these automated messages on the hotline more.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you will need to contact your mobile service provider for formal support... for the last time, again they you brushed OFF... even if the problem is on the EDGE (btw... BB is a device, RIM is the company that manufactures the BBs), your support channel always starts with your carrier... they have the power to escalate your case in RIM free of charge for the user end... There is no other way by which you can receive free formal support from the RIM... actually, these forums are not similarly supported RIM , but rather to the users.

  Did you mean that your emails and text messages are coming in the same folder? If so then try the following-

  Separate messages-> Options-> General Options-> E-mail and SMS: separate

  If you mean your different built-in emails appearing in mail and separate mail folder then please be informed that this default happenes. BlackBerry smartphone is designed as such if you think this is awkward, can hide Messages folder (press the Alt button-> click-> Menu select hide).

  I just got my first blackberry (yesterday) and I'm learning the tricks of the trade, but I had a question... How do I configure my message icon to contain only texts and my email icon to contain my emails? When I opened the message icon it shows everything (text, IM, email, etc) and I just want to show text messages. It's too much for me to scroll through emails and texts and I wish they were separated. Does make sense? Laughing out loud

  I am new to the Blackberry family, and already I have a small problem. On my main screen it shows a yellow envelope with the #1 in front of it. And when I pass my message Yahoo icon, he says that I have an e-mail message to my Yahoo email account. HE DIDN'T THERE WAS NO MESSAGE.   Welcome to the forums

  There could be a hidden message somewhere in your e-mail folders. In the message list, press the menu/blackberry and 'display the folder '. Go through the files and one of them may have a hidden message. If this does not work, try a battery Pull:
  1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
  2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
  3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

  This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
  A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

• Records show new messages, but there is no new messages in the folder

  I have used filters to set up the folder called application, which I used for several months now, all of a sudden I have a problem with one of this file see the new messages, but there is no new messages in the folder. I checked with my email providers email based web browsers to see if new emails have came that should go into the folder named application and none has to go into the folder of file titled application. Any ideas on what is causing this problem and how to fix it?

• BlackBerry Smartphones New app installed but not found

  I just installed Windows Live Messenger through Application center onmy BB Storm. I went through complete the process, but after that, there is not Windows Live Messenger anywhere. Previously, I installed Google Talk, for a week or two, and this demand seemed fine. When I go to the list of applications under Options, it says that Windows Live Messenger is installed. Under the Application center, it is not saying longer not installed, but I can't. I chose same show everything that I thought that this icon may be hiding.

  Never mind, I found this... .He was under Instant Messaging. I looked everywhere and not under this folder because I thought that is not folder but Blaykberry the instant messaging application icon.

  In any case, for everything I made the first connection to my PC via the Desktop Manager application and after I removed this topic something happened to the sounds and storm return failing however different sound sound are selected. Then after awhile it's settled and now everything works fine again. Weird device.

I figured out how to separate my emails to my text messages in the 'Messages' box, but it is always default to my email messages when I opened the box "Messages". How can I make the text message folder? (There is no "hide folder" option I can find it, and when I separated from email and texts no new record did come on my homescreen).

  If you have changed "SMS and Email" to separate boxes? On my machine, I had to look in my Applications folder to find the icon 'SMS and MMS '. After that I found it, I was able to move on the home screen.
