My can´t PC standby or standby extended

I have a "HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-n005eo Ultrabook" and there have never been abel sleep or hibernation. When I try to wake the computer from sleep mode it generally shows a blue screen with the errocode: "VIDEO_DXG _FATAL_ERROR (missing some letters here)" and then restart the computer or it just restart without the blue screen. When I try to resume the computer from the mode it is just an ordinary beginning of hibernation.

I have updated the BIOS but without any help.

Hi @Great-Christine-Tree!

Now, I installed the drivers for Intell and AMD and now both hibernation and the slepping works. Thanks for the help!

    Hello

Welcome to the community of Windows Vista answers.

I'm afraid that you can't add your laptop as an Extender. Extender technology is integrated with some of your favorite such as televisions, DVD players, home entertainment devices and cool and quiet devices that fit comfortably with your other components home cinema. We call these "Extender for Windows Media Center" devices.

Here are some of the links through which you can get a clear picture on the Extenders can be used with media center.

    Hello

I think we're talking about creating sensitive to the Muse pages that adjust the content according to the size of the window. Now Muse don't create sensitive design but there are few features in Muse using which you can do this to a certain limit.

Please check the suggestions of Zak in the link below.

You can create sensitive sites with Adobe Muse?

How can I download updates for CS5 Extended when I get the error message "this serial number is not for a product calling it"?

Updates are not related to series numbers, so you must have done something compared to try to use an upgrade rather than an update.  Adobe not revise older versions of their software to adapt to the latest hardware/devices.  They create/sell new versions of their software for it.  If you subscribe to the Cloud at some point you shouldn't have a problem with the software becomes obsolete.

I can always download Adobe 9 Pro Extended and it'll work with 64-bit Windows 8?

We don't know what application you mean when you say Adobe 9 Pro Extended, so he ois not sure if it is available for you to download.  If you diownload, it will be valid for a 30 day trial except if you already own it and have a serial number to activate the trial with.

You can search the following site and see if you can find the trial version to download... this site is likely place only you might find the software available for download.

If there is, don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important article Instructions on the pages to download to this site or the download may not work properly.

  • Can't stop "standby" mode. HP Pavilion 2111us-g6. Windows 7 64 bit.

    HP Pavilion g6-2111us.

    Windows 7 64-bit.

Set up with an ID of administrator and user two identifiers that require a password to connect.

Computer goes into hibernation during the (provided by Cox) McAfee virus scan.  Tried to create the power of scanning only management plan.  Tried to change the recommended power HP plan. Tried scanning in the administrator ID.  In all cases the computer ignores the settings and falls asleep.  Firstly, the screen goes black, then the laptop on the USB LED fan cooler matrices is.  Now, he's asleep.  I hit the button ENTER and the user login screen.  I connect and the scan continues.  The first time it happened I left running the scan and returns a few hours later and the scan was started.  The only way I found to a full scan is by sitting in front of the computer and hitting the key enter every time the screen goes black.  It prevents switch to "standby" mode and the analysis ends in just over an hour.

How can I prevent the computer asleep then the scan will finish without supervision.  I was able to do it on the laptop of HP running Vista that I used five years before it crashed and I replaced it with this one.

Great, I'm glad that you were able to get the problem fixed!

  • How can I disable standby/hibernation / startup emits a beep and the sounds?

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad x 200 running vista Ultimate edition. 7454 - cto of type

How can I disable those annoying beeps that sound whenever my computer goes in and out of standby and Hibernate.

I tried to transform the model of 'No sound' sounds, but the tone still sounds when the computer enters and wakes from sleep and hibernation.

If I turn on "mute" is put into standby or Hibernate mode, the beep does not sound (which is what I want). Unfortunately, its impossible to come back on MUTE when im trying to put the computer away from the sleep or Hibernate (which makes it very distracting to turn on the computer during the class).

    Solution:

Enter the BIOS by pressing F1 during startup

    > Config

    > Beep and alarm

Tone control power set to [Disabled]

Your solution is correct, but I think it's also accessible under ThinkPad Power Manager software. Go to the "Global settings" tab and choose "beep when the power state changes.»

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can access in standby mode

I just bought a Curve 8330 last week. Like it, but the mute has stopped putting the unit in standby mode. It seems doing nothing now. I have perhaps inadvertently pushed the toggle button up as the mute. Don't know why it would turn off. Has anyone else had problems with this? Any suggestions?

You can try to reset the unit? With the device on, just remove the battery for 30 seconds and replace it. After restarting the device, try using the sleep button

  • Off or standby extended?

I have a new HP Pavilion g series system and want to know what is best to do this when I'm finished working - close, sleep or Hibernate?  Thank you

    Hello:

    It depends on.

Stop using the least amount of battery power when the laptop is turned off. Use this option if you plan not to use the laptop for several days or more.

Hibernate uses the second minimum of battery power and your PC back on the desktop a little faster when you turn it off completely. Maybe you would use this if you plan to use the PC every day.

Sleep uses the largest amount of energy from the battery to the stop State, but the laptop is on the office faster. I use this mode when the laptop is plugged and I intend to use it several times a day.

If you plan to pull the plug, the laptop will (should) automatically in standby mode extended if the battery runs down, but you will need to connect to the a/c adapter in order to restart.
