  Sorry but I don't understand what you want. If you can open the door to s of device DVD open and try to remove the DVD media. DVD media is set with three small plastic parts that can be removed to the rear. If you cannot remove the only somewhere for help.

  Looks like you have done the basic things that are necessary, then probably you need to use the method of manual release. It will take more effort than if the player is directly accessible. You can review other methods to eject the disc as well.

• DVD stuck in the Studio Hybrid?

  I tried to burn a DVD and insert a blank disc, but the player would not recognize it. I hear that the Player keeps trying to read. As you already know the eject button on these hybrids studio never work properly. So I tried to eject using a right click in Windows Explorer (on Vista), but only thing happened the Explorer crashed.

  After trying several times I wanted to restart and see. However then it stopped starting upwards. The progress bar from Microsoft comes and then I get a blank screen. The DVD player can cause anything like that?

  I thought to open the machine and trying to manually release the DVD. Don't you think it's possible?

  Any help is very appreciated. As I said, it is a hybrid of Studio with Vista on it.

  It's so old, but this is the file that you, boys need - it's the "Intel DELL0100 proximity sensor Driver (ACPI). When you install it should work your eject button. Maybe someone else who still use this old ball over time will benefit after their 10 windows upgrade.

  I have a Macbook Pro (mid-2014 retina) and I have this problem since I upgraded to OS El Capitan. Now I have the last 10.11.5.

  I can't insert a CD/DVD in the external DVD drive. It gets stuck at the end when it is like 80% already.

  I searched on the web before and there was a workaround solution that you put the CD in and reboot and it would work and it is indeed, but it's a pain that every time I work on the Macbook and in the middle of something and I want to insert a CD that I have to close everything and restart to get the disc inside!

  Once I do that, it works fine and I can eject and insert it again normally, but the first time I have to restart first, and since it's an external drive, I have connected it all the time, so whenever I connect it, I have to redo this same process.

  I was hoping with the last update that this problem could have been resolved for me obviously it's a software problem because it came with the upgrade to El Capitan, I've improved in later, but still problem is there. I hope that someone would have reached a permanent solution for this and I would be really grateful to know it.

  If your DVD player has a pull-out drawer, then you should find a small hole on the front panel. Carefully push a small PIN or needle into the hole and it will release the locking mechanism and allow the drawer to open so that you can remove the content.

  Make sure not to push too hard or you may damage the locking mechanism.

  Hello everyone, I hope that people still visit this area of the forums!

  I put highlighted and bolded the symptoms and make them easier to find.

  I recently bought a T61 6457-C15 on eBay and were in the process of setting up and customizing to my tastes. When I got the laptop, it looked as if Windows had been restored to the original state of the factory, as well as some free software, so I proceeded under this assumption. First of all, I used Windows Update to download all the updates that he could find including IE8. I wanted to have a program running on my computer before anti-virus I used a browser to access the internet. I ran IE8 and went directly to the Microsoft Security Essentials Web site and downloaded the installer.   Now that I have my system set up for my taste, including customization and power settings, I started to install my first program: Command & Conquer the first decade since a DVD-ROM. When I put the disc in the drive and closed, it took a few seconds for the drive to the start and once he did, he was constantly running at high speed and I could hear the drive back quickly in perpetual motion. After a few minutes menu finally appeared disk installation, so I clicked on the button install.   Please help me, my DVD/CD-RW drive is a Matshi your UJDA775, my operating system is Windows Vista Business and model number of my T61 6457-C15. I tried all the troubleshooting patches and none have worked. I tried the update drivers and using diagnostic software and they have not worked. I tried to disable drag-to-disc burning and it did not work. I have treid remove and clean the drive and that did not solve my problem. I noticed that the driver for the controller "Intel(r) ICH8M-E/M SATA AHCI" is the only related driver that can be undone, so maybe that could fix. I also wonder if a firmware change caused this, and if so, if there is any way I can cancel that. The only other difficulty I have heard of that I have not tried is changing the registry, but I hesitate to do so. I have not tried to boot from the CD drive because I have no bootable CD and I'm afraid that my computer can stay stuck in this mode. I hope someone can tell me what I can do to try to solve this problem, preferably without destroying my computer. Just adding a note; I went through the stories of the Microsoft and Lenovo update and related updates only I could find were: ThinkPad BIOS update utility easy ejection, driver Intel Matrix Storager Manager for Windows (32 bit) and maybe one of the Intel chipsets Support two Vista updates. I tried to roll back the driver AHCI, but it has no effect.

I had some difficulty in finding how to contact technical support from Lenovo; online options directed me to the IBM support Web site, which was clearly designed for businesses. After about five minutes of waiting, a young boy by the name of "Tyrese" answered (I may be misspelling his name), but the connection was so bad that we could barely hear each other. I uninstalled roxio, which is another question-total, because it wouldn't burn DVDs & then decided, it does not recognize no matter what media in drive - & was going to reinstall. OK after TAPI & try a lot of things has suggested deleting upper & lower filters-uninstall reader put it back. error 39 & personalized diagnosis

  Thank you for your message.  Your computer is a laptop or a desktop computer?  In a desktop computer, there is usually a small hole on the front that you can use an object (such as a paper clip) to insert and open the door.  If you use a laptop, you can completely remove the player, it is difficult to know exactly how the disc is stuck, but if it's the drive itself and the computer, remove the drive should free up.  Please let us know the result.

  Ouch... it was a hard Jolt? It seems to be damaged more unfortunately, the drive or the SATA connection to the drive to the motherboard. The player is easy to remove.

  

  The drive has a standard SATA connection... a data cable and a power cable and you can try to connect to another computer and see if it works. If it isn't, then this is the drive, and if that's the case I'm afraid, it's the motherboard.
