  Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

  If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

  can someone please help me fix/clean my computer?   Blue screens are caused by defective material or defective hardware drivers.

  To see if a fix is available

  In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) select reports on the problems and Solutions (problem of type in the START search box), go to historical problem, right-click of your error and choose check for the Solution. You can also right-click and choose Details for more information. Post the details here.

  To see if any recent system change caused it

  In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) choose Administrative Tools and then choose reliability and performance monitor and choose the monitoring tools then the reliability monitor (type reliability in research on Start). This list is a chart of the software installs, uninstalls, updated Windows and crashes by date (scroll left to see earlier dates). See if your plant has started to happen after you installed or uninstalled something.

   

  Standard hardware troubleshooting

  Problem is not with the help of CS2 in itself - it works fine...  Apart from the fact that none of the CS2 programs will allow me to open Pagemaker 7 or old Pagemaker files.

  Who should have nothing to do with the level of service pack for XP!

  Yet once, if there is a problem, uninstall and reinstall CS2. But as you know, CS2 is quite old and is no longer supported. If this feature is important to you, I guess using the current version would be the way to go.

  Option 1: If you go to computer management, and then to the list of Services and find the VMware authorization Service, it appears as stopped? If so, you need to start

  Option 2: Try logging on as an administrator Local host during installation first workstation, rather than you connect with a domain ID

  Option 3: The question can be caused also by your security program such an antivirus or a firewall of Windows /Defender that can have conflicting parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must enable security programs new that had disabled you

  Option 4: The problem could be linked to a local or domain group policy. Make sure that the local account is defined as 'local user __vmware_user__' in the local Administrators group and the permissions of "Log on locally" and "Log on as a service.

  The two parameters are available in the "* Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment *" branch of domain group policy or local.
