  This is the worst absolute way to embed fonts for PostScript through deletes dynamic transparency, color management, bookmarks, hyperlinks, etc. Yucck!  You are in many ways to ruin the files, do not clean them.

  Acrobat Preflight has a correction for embedding fonts. Takes only a few seconds per file PDF. And if you have a bunch of these files, you can create an action to do this.

  If your software is still running on your old machine, you can try to save it now. See if there is an Option in the Help menu. If it works, you don't need to know your serial number to get the software registered, but your number will subsequently indicate in your adobe account.

  Here is an update on the situation, a user on the machine was having a problem where photoshop opens not at all, it will crash and reopen and crash very much. so we tried to connect as another user who is having the problem I described in this thread, it turns out that this user has some kind of issue in which he had no permission to open the source files for that solved the problem. Then, we deleted the user account in which photoshop will not open and created a new user and the new user seems to work around at the moment and the script has not been changed. I guess what my point, is that the problem is external to the script throughout.
