  You're better off with almost nothing accept ZA and Kaspersky, both are absolutely the worst security editors to keep in touch with updates of Firefox this last year: everyone has had at least one add-on Firefox being several weeks or months of delay on the schedule of release of Firefox. It's almost as if they don't know week 18 of Firefox development process and they are waiting until their Firefox users complain of their shit doesn't work don't not with a version new version of Firefox, before even to think to do their updates. IMO, the smartest thing is to test the version of channel every night (first alpha stage 6 weeks) for compatibility issues once a week to see what problems may exist with their software, and once the new version hits the channel Aurora (2nd week alpha stage 6) begin to develop a plan calendar for what they should be fixed and begin to repair their stuff, while intensifying to test a little. Once the new version Beta 6 weeks channel hits they should be completed their corrections and expand their tests to include the combination of the Add - most popular add-ons used by Firefox users so that they can see all problem users could hit and fix what needs to be fixed before the release of the new version of Firefox.

They assured me that "with version 7.1 of their new software it should be compatible. I was worried because the rep on the phone with me does not seem very confident in her answer and him using the word "should" is never a good thing.

  Sure enough I got the new Windows 7 computer running, installed the software, they told me to get their site, connected his player... The device has been recognized as connected BUT no driver could be found. Nothing I've tried the last hours won't work because there is simply no driver of Olympus or someone else to make this device work with Windows 7.   The compatible ID confirms that it is not only a storage device, so it uses just the drivers supplied with Windows.  If this isn't a problem with Windows 7.  This is a problem in which the hardware vendor must be resolved.

  I searched online for the VID & PID and found only a few strokes on Bing.  None of them make no mention of 64-bit support.  And they are all pretty old.  I see dates pilot since 2001.

  So the best option is to contact Olympus again to see if they have drivers for Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64 - bit for this device, or to confirm to you what devices ARE supported on 64-bit.

  Looks like the above driver package for their recorders VN series.  It seems to be relatively cheap - http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1389&fl=5&acccategory=84 (the VN5200 is still cheaper).

  We had read that Sony's XAVCs codec is compatible with FCP X since version 10.2. So we bought a couple of cameras Sony-FDR-AX33 for our company (short films shot in 1080 p). So this morning I tested one of them, fill a 64 GB card with continuous footage from my office window. He gave me 2.5 hours of 1080 p video.

  Now, if I navigate on the map from a recent MacPro desktop, I can open the file with QuickTime and read it. But if I try to import into FCP X, it fails. Nothing happens. In the case of my file, it takes well over 2 hours to do the work with the application of fast converter we use here, Miro.

  I have the Sony FDR-AX100 that pulls in the same codecs as your Sony FDR-AX33 XAVCS.  I imported many clips of my RAD-AX100 in FCP X, but I do not try and import them directly from the card of the camera.  I use the software to play the memories of (free) Sony to transfer clips from my AX100 on my hard drive.  I then use the FCP to import the. MP4 files on the hard disk in FCP X.  There is no conversion of files involved in this workflow, and I have never had no problems using this workflow with FCP X and my Sony FDR-AX100.
