dynamic double bit data conversion

It could be very simple, but I was confused. I have current data and average data as in code. I want to build the table using these data, save them on my hard drive and open in word with header (current and average)

Problems:

I have data from two sources in lead generation and versions table as shown entry table to write on the worksheet vi. I get the error source is dynamic and double sink is a bit. It is the most difficult part of my life to find out what range of conversion to use.

When I run the vi (lets assume the good range of conversion is connected and there is no conversion error) pops up the dialog for path that comes up constantly on dialog

Ideally I want appears on the screen when I press on would go so that I can browse location to save the file, and once the path is specified vi works continuously and the data is written to the worksheet while vi is running.

Thanks a lot for reading and help

See you soon

Welcome to the evil world of dynamic data. What you really want to use is the merging of signals feature. When you do this a dynamic data conversion will be automatically added between the signals to merge and writing on a spreadsheet file.

You can consider using writing to the file position as directly accepts dynamic data.

With respect to the path, use a shift register.

  • ColdFusion 11 allows the use of MS Access 32-bit data sources?

ColdFusion 11 allows the use of MS Access 32-bit data sources?

Well well, my first rhetorical question: is 2014, why MS Access? MS SQL has free versions that are much faster and more stable than any version of MS Access, I have no problem of migration.

Now to your question, 32 bit "should not be a factor." 64-bit applications can talk to most 32-bit applications through an API without too much difficulty. The only exception that I know are 32-bit applications that rely exclusively on the DLLs for their API - I don't "think" MS Access has this limitation. It was probably at least 15 years since I touched what whatsoever in dealing with MS Access so my hesitation to be clearer in my response. Good luck.

  • VMWare and Server 2008 R2 64-bit data recovery

    Hello

Y at - it no problem using the plugin of VMWare and MS Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) data recovery?  Whenever I try to back up a virtual computer with the operating system 2008 R2 on it, she returns with the error:

Failed to create the snapshot for VMName, error - 1 (unknown)

The status message in the Panel said recent jobs:

Cannot create a snapshot suspended because the snapshot creation operation has exceeded the time off I/O forholding in the frozen VM.

When I use the same application to save a regular 32-bit version of 2008, it works very well.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Windows 2008R2 isn't an entirely guest OS support on vSphere 4 and VMware Data Recovery.  We are aware of the problem and must lean into it by a version update - for now, 64-bit Windows 2008 R2 is not supported.

    Check on http://metalink.oracle.com

Yet more can we use 32-bit components of Oracle (ODAC) with oracle 64-bit data access.

I guess you mean to use 32-bit components ODAC on the client side. I've not seen this in practice, but it should be possible as long as we do not / cannot upgrade all clients to 64-bit.

  • Will I lose data conversion to double precision single-precision float?

    Before you say Yes...

I use a crio unit in scan mode interface. Which returns the mode of scanning values in floating point double precision. Apparently I'm supposed to be able to choose between double precision fixed-point ("not calibrated") and ("calibrated") floating point data, but this feature seems to be exclusive to the fpga interface and is not available with the scan engine. The two data types are 64 bits per value, when it comes to the size on disk, anyway is still basically the same.

The system continuously records 13 channels of comma floating double-precision at 200 Hz. using the binary file write, I measured it is about 92 MB/hr on the disk. (more than 120 MB/hr with PDM and much more to write on the worksheet) In short, this 92 mb/hr rate is just too much data on the disk on this system.

The modules that I record since, 9236 9237 and 9215 c-series modules, have 24-bit a/d converters or less. Does this mean that I have not need 64-bit to represent the number and accuracy even?

Can I force/cast point values double-precision floating that I receive of the variables of e/s scan engine to the data type of a different, smaller, as a single-precision floating point and retain the same precision?

You can test it by looking at the difference between a DBL and converted to SGL DBL. But I support the Nickerbocker trick. I don't think it will make the difference

  • string 1-d dynamic data conversion

    Greetings,

I am acquiring data controller series.

Now the problem is that the data is a string which I converted in table 1 d NOW I want to save that live data in text files that can be viewed in EXCEL.
I used 'write to measure file' box that is used for this purpose, but he accepts the output signal which is a string of 1-d.
Please guide me how to solve this problem.

    Hello

Please find front and change the code to display this should solve your problem.

    1. Add? property to true if the data is not overwritten. (see image)

2 give a valid path (see image like E:/abcd.csv...you can be any valid path)

  • Problems with data conversion

    Hi all

I'm doing an A - D conversion. Conversion table is given in attachment, as well as the file vi. I got three 8-bit during serial communication data and join them to form a 24-bit number (I mention this so there is no question why mets implement entry like that). As you can see in the table of conversion without exit number must be greater than Vref, however in this implementation, I get a flow of 2 * Vref.

Can someone please help me find the error.

    Darko

The conversion formula is implemented for bipolar data while your VI U32. You cannot represent negative numbers with U32 (unsigned integer).

  • 30EA2 - UNIT TESTING - value dynamic query truncating dates time.

So I use the installation of SQL Developer Unit Testing (very nice by the by) for a bit now and just recently upgraded to the latest beta version (3.0.02.83). Looks like a bug has been introduced by which the dynamic query of value are truncate all time of all DATE data type information.

This causes sadness serious for my current test cases and for me since I have to go back to the previous beta version :)

I noticed that, in the new 30EA2 parameter:

    AddVMOption - Doracle.jdbc.mapDateToTimestamp = false

has been introduced by default in

    [SQLDEveloper_install_dir]/sqldeveloper/bin/sqldeveloper.conf

Perhaps it has something to do with the behavior of incorrect date, try to remove the parameter and check again.

  • Problem of data Conversion HTTPService

I have a REST-style web service that returns an HTML document that looks like this:

    < a >
    < b >
    < c > 2.0 / < c >
    < b >
    < b >
    < c >/< c > 3.2
    < b >
    < /a >

I can use the browser to view this document, and it looks as expected. However, when I use a Flex HTTPService to get the document and display its values, all numbers ending by ".". 0' are rounded/truncated. For example, the first element < c > above appears as '2' instead of '2.0 '.

Why numbers are converted? Shouldn't they have considered all other text in an XML element?

    That's what I call service:

    < mx:HTTPService id = "myService" url = "itsurl" method = "GET" useProxy = "false" / >

And it is an example that shows a number being trucated/rounding:

    < mx:Label text="{myService.lastResult.a.b[0].c}"/ >

    Thank you

    Mike

The default value for HTTPService is resultFormat = "object", which causes Flex convert your xml file into a tree of dynamic objects. It is rarely what you want. Among other things, he's trying to type conversions.

Instead, the value resultFormat = "e4x". This will give you your xml code that the United Nations has changed. It also gives you access to the e4x which is very powerful API. It includes features of course, search and always.

In addition, for another thing what a banal or demonstration app, do not directly bind to the lastResult. Use a function instead of the result handler. Here is an example, untested:

    (in the script)
    Import mx.rpc.ResultEvent;
[Bindable] private var _xmlResult:XML; var instance to store the data
    private void onResult(event:ResultEvent):void {}
    _xmlResult = XML (event.result);
trace (_xmlResult.ToXmlString ()); to see exactly what you
    ....
    }

Note your example of XML is not valid, so I can't show you an example of an e4x expression.

  • Date conversions

    Hi all

I am passing the value of P_date in April 19, 2010. But date_creation is April 21, 2010. But still, the following query is givng result.

    Select TRX_NUMBER,to_date(creation_date,'DD-MON-YYYY'),to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY'),to_date(creation_date,'DD-MON-YYYY')-to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY ')
    from apps.ra_customer_trx_all where trx_number = 123
    and to_date(creation_date,'DD-MON-YYYY') < = to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY')

the output of the above is

    123,21-APR-2010,19-APR-2010,-730485

    But when I ask

    Select to_date('21-APR-2010','DD-MON-YYYY')-to_date('19-APR-2010','DD-MON-YYYY') of double

I get the result 2. So why do I get the value of differnce as-730485.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you
    Kumar.

    Hello

you get a conversion to DATE. You need not use to_date on a date field.

    select to_date(sysdate,'dd-mon-yyyy') from dual;

This gives a year 0010, then subtract you an actual date of 2010, so that you get a difference of 2000 years, is of about 730000 days, this is what you see.

Let fall the to_date in the columns of your table, but leave on the bind variables:

    select TRX_NUMBER, creation_date,to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY'),creation_date-to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY')
    from apps.ra_customer_trx_all where trx_number=123
    and creation_date <=to_date(:P_date,'DD-MON-YYYY')

Although you should now get a different result, because date_creation is greater than the given date, so your where clause on the dates would be different.

  • View threads AND grouped by date/conversation

    Hello

I try to have messages see the thunderbird grouped by date (with a thread on today, yesterday, last week, etc.) and within these threads, see email conversations. A conversation that began three weeks ago, but has received a new email today is expected to manifest itself in the thread today, but from the first email of the conversation.
I did not understand if it is possible, as grouped by (Date) and Threads are mutually exclusive. Any ideas?

    Thank you

As you say, it is there only one group so at the time. So I guess that your out of luck.

You could fill a better bug report and see if one of the developers interested. https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/

  • Help: 8-bit data transfer

    Hello friends of data acquisition,

I have a complex programming project for which I'm looking for advice.    I have a good idea of what needs to be done and took I stab in the attached VI.   However, I have no experience with DIO, ergo, I am not confident in what I've done!   The target system is deleted physically for me, so my hope is that I can get some corrections and guidance from the joint forum before visiting the production system.   Right now I am simulating my offsite PXI-6259 with MAX.   Advice/comments/advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Sincerely,

    Zach

The task at hand = transfer a text string to an adjacent DSP system with 8 digital output lines.

    The requirements are:

    1. convert each character in a binary table of 8-bit ascii standards

    2. write the table 8-bit daqmx digital output lines.

    3. read the DSP System State occupied by entry digital daqmx, slowed down (low TTL) or busy (TTL high)

    4. wait for the DSP is inactive

5 generate a pulse TTL from 0.0003 sec to the line to "lock" the 8bits via digital output separated daqmx.

    6. Repeat until the entire chain has been sent

All in all, I have 8 lines for codes, a single line of DI for the status of the DSP and the other line for the impulse of 0.0003 strobe (lock).

I'll give up this thread...   I have made significant progress and am now testing the attached version.

  • CRIO-9066 FIFO data conversion problem

I'm having a problem with a multiple element SGL FIFO on a cRIO-9066 where data is not read correctly.  Here is the configuration:

I have two Host - to - Target FIFOs, identical except for type: FXP is the other SGL.  Both are 16-element.  Data SGL which are read turns a conversion error.  A sample minimum (2014 for the 9066) project is included.

The example works fine if the FIFO SGL 1-element; something more big fails.  Is not supported on the same 9066 thought that the project allows the creation?

    Thank you

    David

It seems that maybe it's a bug in the Simulator.  Exit the simulation mode, run it on your target and watch the interactive mode in this way.  The results are what you expect.  It is strange that they would be converted at some point.

I received data in the right way, but when I send data to crio I read the data in the wrong way.

Then the programming, it is important to have the attention for more details . Computers and software can store number to different endian format. Google Boutien for more information. LabVIEW uses Big Endian format for its binary numbers (even under Unix and MAC), whereas most Windows programs use the Little Endian format.

I've included a demo for you. Try to send little entry endian to big-endian input and see what happened
