It is connected via wired USB.  It's online, the computer recognizes it scans when I said to scan through the software interface; but it does not print.  The unit worked when I put in place and told to print the initial alignment is not the problem.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall and once again with antivirus off the coast.  I tried to reinstall without the 5 upgrades, I tried Dell Support driver installation options including the Vista compatibility mode.  Nothing works.  Help!

  I have the Dell V313 printer on the computer of my mother for about three years. Here are some lessons I've learned. I hope this will help other people:
