  In addition to the suggestion of Firedog, after disabling email scanning (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) you may need to remove your e-mail account, close and reopen OE and then add it back back.

  This means what he says.  You do not have the minimum required VRAM.
  The minimum specs for the game is listed as 128 MB of VRAM, but is supposed to work
  on the graphics card integrated Intel 2000/3000.
  The amount of VIDEO memory dedicated on laptops is apparently determined by the FAB of the laptop.

  Without knowing which laptop, or if it is one that has a dedicated graphics card, I guess that your laptop uses integrated graphics that devotes too little of VRAM (64 MB?),
  If it does not the minimum requirement of 128 MB of VRAM.

  Please specify the exect option that you use to scan from the control panel of the device.

  What exect icon are you clicking after selecting the scam?

  If it is computer, try to update the latest version of the driver and check if the Scan shortcuts Manager do not appear:

  If you don't see the specific option yet, you will need to delete all HP software installed completely and install the latest version:

I type of memory on a PC at work away from my Mac, so bear with me please). The novelty is "scan to computer" or maybe "scan to folder" - it allows me to scan directly onto my iMac from the printer. I also have a MacBook pro that I have updated to the Mavericks. For the life of me I can't update software to 'find' this HP softawre update. I tried all technical and simple thing I can think (redownloading and install the driver of HP on HP site, deleting driver, uninstall, repair permissions, tranfering manually all the iMac to MacBook HP software, restart the printer, etc. etc. etc.). No luck. I can't get the software update HP on the PowerBook - and the software manually transferred from the iMac comes with an error - so I deleted and am now using the latest driver web page from HP which works fine - with the exception of any scan of the computer have... I'd like to since my PowerBook usually stays on my desk to the floor away from the printer down... by the way, I LOVE THIS HP 8600 printer. All brands of printer, I used it over the years, AND this ONE IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE IN EVERY WAY. Bravo HP!

  I had on both Mountain Lion. And yes I got the HP software on the two before moving on to Mavereicks. I'm not sure 100 percent when the HP update came through on the iMac if - it may have been before I upgraded to the Mavericks. But I'm pretty sure that it was after the Mavericks.

  To better understand the issue, let me know if you have tried pressing the F12 key or the key that is used to start the BIOS on the computer?

  The 10.7 Mac does not support Officejet 3830, you could use this printer with 10.8 and above, or consider a slightly older model of the printer. Have you considered upgrading to 10.8?

  I could be wrong, but I don't think that there is no charge for the upgrade. It might be interesting to look at in any way.

I deleted the printer and has attempted to add once again but ended up renaming and this printer icon is different.  After adding it and a manual ip address are now under network search it permanently as the intellectual property and prints never... Help, please. I feel like I just need to somehow remove all printers and start all over again.

  Well Yes, restart more is a good idea.

  First of all, on the front panel of the printer, go to Settings [Scan] > WIreless > default settings.

  Then, on your Mac, reset the printing system:

  -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
  -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!

  If you have the right software for 10.6 (not on the CD, by the way), open Applications > HP > C4700 series > printer setup and software.  Run it.

When you try to scan to a computer, it comes up with an error 031-522, SMB connection error. I checked that each computer has a shared folder, there is a read/write permission, the appropriate IP addresses are listed and can't see what's the problem - there is little help on the Xerox support site. The network is a simple working group. I have the same printer in another office, although all computers in an SBS domain, without problem.

  Steve, I opened the "Organizer" is gone to the root AVCHD (marked PRIVATE for some reason any).  I selected add media from the root directory.  It has imported media.  I then click with the right button on the desired video file and opened his first 13 items.  Loaded automatically moving.  I tried the tracking motion AND IT WORKED!  Thanks for your suggestion because it made me think that maybe there is some hidden files or that the Organizer could load the file moving PE13 how you want.  He did and it works now.  I will be certainly all future media in this way.
