My Dell ST2220L Monitor has no screen resolution that fits the screen.

I recently moved and before the move, my ST2220L turned to 1680 x 1050 and it fit perfectly on the screen (that's what he says is the recommended resolution and there is nothing more. After I moved, when I started my monitor, instead the 1920 x 1080 was the new recommended and 1680 x 1050 wasn't available more (it is not recommended, and it does not display). 1920 x 1080, or 1680 x 1050 to adapt to the screen and I play often and it's annoying to have to have my games in windowed mode, because they extend off screen and I do not see the HUD. would appreciate help.

Well, that was a silly solution.

I went in my monitor settings and found the horizontal option adjust and it toggled up abit and hurry to the screen very well.

I feel a bit stupid now.

  • Dell U3011 monitor, has executed anyone on this?

I bought the subject U3011 a month and half ago and rejoices with it until about three days ago when the right part of the screen started showing horizontal color lines, as if the images on the screen were bleeding.  I tried the reset of the monitor and have hooked up to two out of my video card (an ATI Radeon HD 9750) as well using the AVI cable I used originally, then a HDMI cable.  The problem is still there, no matter what I try.  The monitor seems to be fine when put on, but the lines start to appear as soon as it is hot, usually 30 to 40 minutes later.  I'm sure it's the screen itself, I'm running a platform double screen, and the other monitor (Dell U2410) has a perfect screen, any port or the cable that I use with it.  Unfortunately, I am sure that I will contact Dell for a replacement, but I was wondering whether or not this was common.  Someone else has met with the U3011 or any other monitor?  I'll try to insert a screenshot so you can see what I mean.  Thanks for listening leads me.

I've been running the U3011 via a HDMI cable for nearly 24 hours, with no manifestation of the problem I described initially.  I am convinced that the problem is the DVI cable supplied with the monitor.  I have ordered a replacement and will just continue to use the HDMI cable until it happens.  If necessary, I'll ask for a replacement for the monitor, but I don't think I have to.  Thanks for all the help with this.  Good to know that sometimes the most obvious (and inexpensive) answer is correct.

  • AIR application that fits the WHOLE screen

I have an AIR application that manages the mode full-screen, but I was wondering is there a way to get rid of the gray bottom bar so that the application fills the whole screen entirely? It seems a bit pointless because it is there and for me it takes away the effectiveness of full-screen completely in my opinion.

    It's the bar, I mean: -.

Use ShowStatusBar = 'false' remains in the WindowedApplication tag.

  • I just replaced my HP with a Dell U2412M monitor.  Lightroom is unable to view the images.

Just grey panels.  The images are TIFF scan Epson.  The EXIF data seems correct.  Having the problem 5.7 LR and LR 4.  PSE 8 is fine as Photoshop 2.

HP Windows 7/6/1.  Import tried to buy import didn't solve the of images - just grey squares with numbers.  It seems impossible.  If I swap back the HP monitor, all right.

Since you are under windows, the problem is almost certainly a monitor corrupt profile. Dell monitors are notorious for shipping profiles corrupted in their windows drivers. Lightroom tends to show only the gray squares. You need to calibrate your monitor using calibration equipment. If you do not have one of them (a single Spyder costs $80 and works well), you have to open up the properties of the monitor pane, go to the color management tab and remove any profile see you associated with equipment. This should solve the problem temporarily, but still won't give you reliable color. To do this, you need to get out (or go online) and buy a Profiler. • In IE9, it has a zoom feature that is the size of the screen larger or smaller. I don't find any such feature with Firefox. Can he do this? Do not confuse my question with 'full screen '.

In IE9, under Tools, there are a zoom feature that adjusts the viewing size. Zoom in or Zoom out. Is this possible in Firefox?

If you select the menu bar, the View Menu contains a Zoom feature. You can also access the shortcut Ctrl + and Ctrl - if you are not using the menu bar. If you have a mouse wheel, you can hold Ctrl and scroll up and down to use the Zoom feature.

I believe that by default, the Zoom feature only increases the size of the text. You can change this by activating the Menu bar and unchecking 'Zoom text only', as indicated in the pictures below.

  • bar address has a little arrow that shows the various web sites, they came and how to get rid of? This isn't a bar history!

address bar has the little arrow that displays a list of various web sites when I click on it. I don't know where they come from or how to remove, have you tried various. This isn't the menu background. It seems no rhyme or reason to what is on this list, some recent, but older or don't remember even being on the site. Some are sensitive that I don't want not preserved, such as the Web-site of the Bank.

Here is the U2415 User Guide. Page 6 shows that we delivered a mini-cable DP to DP (DP = DisplayPort), not an HDMI cable. Pages 10 and 11 show us that the U2415 has the following video ports =.
    HDMI in
    HDMI in
    DP in
    CDM in
    Out DP

The Inspiron 580 mid back has two video ports =.
    HDMI output
    VGA output

You must buy an HDMI cable to HDMI locally.

  • Dual monitor Dell and your Sharp TV screen

I have a Dell 3008WFP monitor and a TV Sharp LC52LE810UN of. The monitor is connected using DVI and the TV is connected using HDMI. In 'screen resolution' the recommended setting for the Dell monitor is 2560 x 1600. It is a 2 monitor. I can't double bill for work. correctly. The resolution gets blurred. The only way I can make it work is to expand the display. It has already used to work when it is used my Samsung P2770 monitor.

I am running Windows 7 and my graphics card is NVIDIA GEForce 310.

    Can someone please.

    Hi ManajitSengupta,

You want to hope that it is not a compatibility problem, because that could leave you a GROUND for a solution. Assuming that everyone even working on a solution. I had a few problems after the upgrade of Vista that never existed when running the Windows 7 RC on the same computer. The cause of a problem is not necessarily in a straight line between Win7 and the problem device. The only things I can think of now are the driver/software standard, tedious, technical troubleshooting. Starting by ' screens exhibit the same behavior when a simple SVGA driver is all that is installed? »

  • HDMI on Dell ST2310 monitor resolution problem / Inspiron 537/Radeon 4350

I don't get resolution 1920 x 1080 on my Dell ST2310 monitor using a Radeon 4350 graphics card using the HDMI output.  I get about 1 "black bands black horizontal and vertical.   Strangely, I have perfected 1920 x 1080 when I use the DVI output of the video card to the monitor.  I checked the screen resolution setting in Windows 7 and on the monitor and it is 1920 x 1080 (monitor says just = 1080 p resolution).  Does anyone have advice?

    Success!  Thank you!

It worked for me, but my settings were VERY difficult to find (someone send this to ATI and Dell, the two companies isn't any idea of this parameter).

Here are my steps (for Version 2009.0614.2131.36800):

    1. open your Catalyst Control Center in advanced mode.

    2. find the top menu on the left titled: Graphics

    3. select «Desktop & poster»

4 STEP IMPORTANT: If you have 2 monitors you will see the large monitors in the Middle, and note the SMALL monitors in the lower left corner.  Right click on the LITTLE monitor on the lower left to change.

    5. Select "configure."

    6. click on the tab "scaling Options.

    7 set to 0

    8. click on apply

    9. click on Ok

You are finished.  I hope someone from ATI reads it and finds that it is much too complex even for an advanced user.  The menu item 'Configure' should have been included at the bottom of the fall of large monitors on the screen.  Why only on the graphics very small monitor in the lower left corner?

  • Screen Galaxy 10.1 Tab4 to Dell AS500 Monitor mirroring

    Original title: Info

    Hey guys...

I had this monitor Dell AS500 for quite some time now, been sitting there since the Cpu has gone wrong, my laptop has now gone wrong, anyone know how I can connect my Samsung galaxy tab4 10.1 in this monitor?, so I can see everything I do on the screen of the monitor...

    Berlix salvation,

Thanks for the update on the issue.

Microsoft has a technology that support us, which defines a protocol to connect an external monitor or TV to a device and therefore, roughly can be described as "HDMI on Wifi", replace the cable between the computer and the screen.

I suggest you refer to the article below that explains the process in order to project a screen wireless with Miracast.

The project on a screen with Miracast wireless

Your tablet has android platform. For screen mirroring your Dell Monitor tab, I would recommend you to contact Samsung and check with them if they have such technology.

Hope this information is useful. Pease after return for assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Half of my screen has low resolution and/or the contrast that the other half

    Greetings!

The left side of the screen on my laptop seems normal with a high resolution and brightness, while the right side of the screen seems darker as it has a higher contrast and is more degraded it has a lower resolution... it looks almost like a demo of tv showing the difference between the high and low definition.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get the screen of the same search on the screen?  The general change the appearance of the screen and return to an earlier date before that I messed up my computer did not work.
    Thanks in advance!

    See you soon!

Could be a hardware failure on the laptop.

One thing to try as a test is to start from a 'live' as Ubuntu OS (for example), just start it DO NOT install it. See - http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/try-ubuntu-before-you-install - for more details. This should hopefully allow you to see if the screen works well or not in another OS, if it looks OK in Ubuntu, then its less likely to be a hardware problem. But if the screen is still divided, then unfortunately, it could be a hardware failure.

Other things to try eventually (in no particular order):

    1. set to update your graphics card drivers to the latest compatible drivers available for your laptop, where they have been corrupted somehow.

2 - is still divided into 'safe mode' or is it OK to whom?

    3. If you look in Device Manager, it shows errors regarding the graphics/display/monitor card?

    4. There is this fixit - http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Windows_Display_Quality_Diagnostics/ - in the center of MS fixit who can be worth it. But I doubt it.

    5. If this just started recently, try a restore point for just before it occurred.

Assuming that you have already tried to change the screen resolution and depth etc color settings and then restore the default values, you need.
