  Disks: I don't think so. I always keep 25 floppy disks for Windows 95, should be a few thousand disks for Windows 10. Very, very, very expensive to store files and transport.

  Make a right click on my computer select manage.  On the next screen, click on disk management.  Now it should appear on the right side, and you can assign it a drive letter.

  Looks like I have to unlock my iPhone, access my main screen with the app, then connect the USB cable, and then it shows to the top in the list of devices, so problem solved.

  You will need to format it and assign a drive letter before that Windows can 'see' in Ecplorer.  Right-click on desktop and select manage, then click Disk Management.  It should appear on the right side where you can make thia.
