  OK - In Illustrator get to HELP.   Sign in with your username there.  Restart Illustrator.   That's the question is!  Hope this helps

  Hi all. I can not turn some pictures I recently copied to my iPhone on my hard drive.

  I have them copied to my iPhone 4s to my PC Windows 7 to an images subfolder.  I can see everything without problems.  If I highlight photos private need rotating, right-click, "Turn clockwise", then sometimes the images will turn successfully.  But sometimes, I get an error saying "you cannot rotate this image. The file may be in use or open in another program, or the file or the folder may be read-only. "Before I got my iPhone 4s, I had no problem of rotating images.  I'm a little doubtful that the new phone / iOS5 is somehow to blame, because it is not attached to the computer, but who knows.

  Just transfer all the photos you took for a a file on windows (as you would if you back up your iphone / ipad to your computer) and open the file using Windows Office Picture Manager. This program is included as part of the suite Microsoft so it was free for me. I'm running windows vista choose to see the file 'point of view miniature"the small box with 4 small rectangles top just under the shortcuts menu command. You can see all the photos in the folder. You can now individually rotate photos or highlight a bunch of them and turn them both using the rotation button up on top. Its a button with triangles too little about it. One of the triangles is laid on its side. Then press 'save' and voila! All your photos are now saved right side upwards. I didn't experience any sacrifice of quality photos or changes.   I have an Acer Aspire TimelineU Ultra Book.  I downloaded Windows 8 in January.  I've not had problems with it before, but when I went to look for on the internet today, it showed that I was not connected to a wifi network.  When I went to connect to my wifi at home it read that my wifi had been extinguished.  I went into the settings and click on the section 'Wireless' and read 'Airplane Mode' has been turned off and when I went to turn on my wifi it won't let me.  It of kind of highlighted in gray and will not respond when I click it.  What is going on?  I want to just my wifi back.

  There seems to be a known bug in the BIOS for Acer Aspire where the Fn + F3 key will turn on and outside airplane mode, but the WiFi is grayed out (disabled). See the video below for a description of the problem and solution.

  I don't know how you will get the update of the BIOS of the computer, without having to download, but you should be able to transfer via USB stick or SD card if you have another computer available with internet connection.

  Today while I was in class, my computer has started very well and I was able to work on it as usual. When the class was done, I saved my job and turn the computer off. None of my school work, photos, music or whatever it is is nowhere to be found. I tried to do the repair option that is offered with the starting system normally and nothing. I also tried the system restore twice at an earlier date and its doesn't work simply do not. Recommendations on how to do, and if my files can be saved? The photos I mean a lot to me and I have midterms and all my work is saved on my profile = - /... Ouch!

  To avoid problems of access to the file:

  1. in safe mode, copy the files into the documents, pictures and music in C:\Users\Public folders.
  2. Enter the new profile in normal mode and move public folders files in folders of your new profile.

  Explorer is required to do something on the PC. Without the Windows Explorer (not to be confused with Internet Explorer), you can't access your files.

  I guess you got IE and Spider Solitaire opens when you watched? If this isn't the case, then you have something else pending, such as possible malware.

  If you search Google or Bing for your laptop brand and model, you can find a Service and maintenance manual for it that will describe how to get to the fan and the heat sink. If it is too involved (I got a HP DV9000, which had to be completely disassembled to clean), you might be able to use a can of compressed air to blow through the airway to get some build up out of it. If you are back blowing through it, make sure that the laptop is off.

  If you need help finding a service manual, post your brand and model here, and someone may have access to one and would be willing to share.
