  I did a test of simepl to see how should I reduce my data file after the transfer of the objects thereof.
  
  I had an image in my data file USER_image, which is about 9 GB in size. I created the new data under the new tablpespace file and moved all the images in this new space of tables. So my old tablespace of image with its data file is now empty. At least there is not all user objects.
  
  Now I tried to resize the old datafile (USER_image) to a smaller value, but I keep this error
  "ORA-03297: file contains data beyond the value required to RESIZE.
  
  The file size is 9 GB and I tried to resize to 8 GB but it still does not allow me.
  
  Is it possible to resize a data file after moving all its purpose?
  I'm something wrong or missing something?

  If you old image tablespace is indeed empty (you need to run a statement against DBA_SEGMENTS to check) then you can bring it, data files included.
  After this, you can create a 'new' tablespace with the old name and desired data file sizes.

  Yes, you can remove the file from the imported image, if you have imported the image as managed.  IE preferences in ave Photos settled on "import: copy items to the photo library" being the default.

  Running W7 pro 64-bit. Had the problems of virus/malware, finally restored my discs from image system, dated 2 weeks ago and then restore backup files dated Windows from yesterday.

  When I go to save / restore my files, the update does not list a backup happened 2/14, the date of the restored image. When I go to manage Windows backup disk space, and then select backup period to remove the last date is 3/1, when I did the last backup. The date & time system is running with a date of 3/2.

  I'm new to Lightroom.  I created a catalog last night by import (add) approximately 33 000 existing images to my hard drive.  They are organized into folders by date.  For some reason, I can select folders and Images in the left panel of all records before a certain date, but may not for files after a certain date.  No idea what's going on.  Maybe gone bad import?  If I click on a problematic file the Image will change in the little window above the list of records, but not in the main window of the plant.  Thanks for the help!

  I need help, try to open a folder with a document. BAK Extension. I lost a lot of my files after that my computer was turned off suddenly.   Here's an article on the BAK files and how to read them. http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/bak.  You cannot read them in fact as BAK files, you read them as the original program.  It can be as simple as removing the. BAK Extension (the original extension can be part of the file name).

  Here is another article on the treatment of the BAK files: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/800229/how_to_open_a_bak_file.html?cat=15.  It basically says the same thing - you must determine the type of original file and rename it to open it (and you may need to proceed by trial and error, unless you recognize the name of the file).

  I wish there was an easier way, but BAK files can be almost any type of tile and only once you know the type of file you will be able to open the document correctly.  There is no 3rd party program to determine the types of original file of the BAK files unfortunately.
