My historical extension in chrome data maintains to disappear since I use windows 10. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

I have a Chrome extension that keeps the sites that I visited during the day and I can go back to them in the future.  Given that I have been using windows 10 data keeps on being deleted.  I took to recording URL in folders on my gmail account to save information I want in Regulation. Any suggetions on correctingthis problem?

Try to ask the author of the extension or Google.  Microsoft has no control over other software of the company.

    You use Windows Media Player to access the .wmv file? If this isn't the case, follow these steps:

    1. save the WMV file on your disk.

    2. then, right click, click on Open withand then click Choose default program.

    3. in the open with dialog box, click Windows Media Player, and then click OK.

    You receive an error message?  Can you play other .wmv files that you do not receive as an attachment?  In Windows Media Player, play a different file that uses the same extension of file name as the file that you were using when you received the error message. If the other file plays correctly, then you try to play the original file may be damaged.

    I tried to install Ripple emulator for Blackberry 10 Extension on chrome, but for some reason any activate and disable buttons are not clickable. I followed the instrunctions given for the installation of the extension of the chrome ripple for BB 10 emulator. I can see the icon of the extension in my chrome browser, but when I click it, it has the enable and disable buttons that don't work not by clicking on.

    I was not able to understand the reason. I'm using Windows 7 OS.

    Also, I would like to know, I have an application that is developed for BB Playbook, so it'll work on BB 10 also?

    What other changes will I have to do to run the application in BB 10.

  • Extension of chrome adblocker destroyed Muse webpage.

    So, I came across a bug in Adobe Muse. It doubles as a 'feature' in Chrome! It seems crazy, but let me explain: I was doing a site for a client and one of the pages is named/titled "to advertise". The site plays fine on Safari and Internet Explorer on my machine. However, chrome, css would give up on the page in question one and break to the point where I had to use the back button to navigate around the site because even the navigation bar was gone. I noticed an indicator of the problem: the icon of the "advertising" page would not appear on the navigation bar on the other pages as well - but only in Chrome. I tried everything: looking at the source code and comparison with other pages, taking the reference to the version of css phone... even rearrange the order of the pages in Muse (last was a Hail Mary, and it didn't work either). Then, I used the function 'inspect element' chome and I found this little gem (see image).

    It seems that my extension of adblocker Chrome took ahold of the metadata for the page 'advertising' and that he tried to block! Because this is a root level page and NOT a pop-up ad, it destroys the page instead! The tell was the missing icon for the 'advertising' page in the navigation bar. Given that the icon was named "advertise_icon.png" or something like that, my anti-ad blocking only the icon in the navigation bar for the other pages. But when I navigated to the page "advertise", since there are a lot of metadata with the word "advertisement" on the page in question, he broke everything! I had to take the site down due to issues related to patents for the customer, but I managed to first get the screenshot.

    To double-check, I renamed the page and the title of 'test '. Lo and behold, the icon is still missing, but I was able to navigate to the page with the CSS intact. So, I actually saw my anti-ad engaging, conscientiously freezes my image header and any other image that had the word "advertisement" as part of its file name.

    While this should be a lesson to designers of web sites: you may not even see this bug unless you have an anti-ad installed on your machine and you have the word 'advertising' anywhere in your metadata.

    I just encountered this on my site too. However, it has affected my images that have been titled with social networking sites (twitter, facebook, etc.). From my experience it only produced with Chrome anti-ad, however, not FF.

    Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

    A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

    (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

    Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

    If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

    The issue is not that you neglected to désapparier your watch before moving on to a new iPhone. Your watch is saved on your iPhone automatically on an ongoing basis, including a refresh when unpairing via historical health approx. Data Watch is stored on your iPhone, not on your watch.

    In order to transfer historical data of health and activity of a new iPhone, it must be restored from a backup of your old iPhone. The whole process is detailed below. You say that you always have a backup of your old iPhone to your computer. If it is an encrypted backup, it will include your historical data on health. If is is not - and if the old iPhone has been deleted or you no longer have access to it - the data that is lost.

    • Cancel your watch to your old iPhone pairing using the Watch app (it also refreshes the backup from the night before):
      • iPhone: Watch app > Watch My > General > Apple Watch > désapparier Apple Watch.

    (1) there must be a way to set "date of publication" as a property of TXT, Word, and PDF files.

    (2) there must be a way to display in chronological order the files in Windows Explorer - not according to their creation or modification date, but according to their date of publication.

    Can someone please? Maybe someone write an essay with many historical sources can feel my pain. I was playing with MS Word properties and trying to create custom, attributes but so far I still did not understand how to format a) correctly a new attribute for b) search for this custom in Windows Explorer or the Publication Date attribute.

    In short, I want to see all my files, because they have been published so that I can have a "timeline of events" outcome of saved newspaper clippings.

    Name/rename the files with numbers on the front of the file name; for example, 01-11-2009 - historicaldocument1.doc, 02-13-1957 - historicaldocument2.doc. There is no way for Windows can read the text of a file whether it refers to the great Chicago Fire what on such and such a date.

    If you are doing historical research, you can check on some forums/newsgroup user on your particular area to see if other people use the documents management software. It would be the best way to go. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Cannot access the data of a dvd burned using Windows Vista

    We burned a dvd using the integrated software disc Vista burning... the procedure was as follows:

    After inserting the disc, we formatted the disk by checking the "Quick Format" option... the format once completed, we pulled the folders n files that are supposed to be stored on the dvd n that the process has begun... After the end of the burn, the dvd is ejected automatically... but the dvd is not readable on other laptops or desktops... well helping... data are very IMP... We have no other backup data... and we have formatted the old laptop and upgraded to Windows 7...

    How does the combustion process end - did you finish it or simply eject a DVD?  If you have completed it, exactly, that you have to finish?  What type of backup has been made (or did you use just copy/paste instead of the grogram backup) and what version of Vista are you using?  Did you use the live file format or the image ISO format http://www.ehow.com/how_5013668_copy-cd-dvd-windows-vista.html?  What kind of CD or DVD (CD, CD - R, CD + r, CD - RW, DVD, DVD - R,...)?

    Insert the DVD into the drive and go into Windows Explorer and right-click on it and select explore.  Any files or folders appear?  Go to start / Control Panel / folder opt / view on the and make sure that the button to view the hidden files is checked.  Also check the box to show system files and uncheck to hide extensions of known file types (this can be useful later).  Nothing now watch or it always seems to be empty.

    Go to start / Control Panel / administrative tools / computer management / disk management and check on the DVD in the car and tell me what it says on the size and the amount of available space (in other words, think data on the DVD).  Closer to your mouse on the DVD player and a text box appears above it lists criteria to this stationary player down.  Please post what he says EXACTLY, in the same order, as it is presented.  Does show as active for example?

    I believe that you have finished the session before it was finalized and it's the cause of your problem (assuming that Disk manager shows ALL the data on the dik at all - in which case I am afraid that the information was not stored on the CD/DVD and are not recoveralble, because there is nothing there to recover).  If the development is the issue, there may still be a way to finalize the disc - although I'll have to research further on this subject because I don't know how to finalize a disc that has already been ejected before it was finalized (and depends on what probably treat you used).

    Even if you have your drive formatted and installed Windows7, it is still possible to recover some of the data that was stored there using special recovery software.  I don't know if these programs work with Windows7 (it is a forum for Vista) but you can check the details before you download them or go to the Windows7 Compatibility Center to see if they are listed http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx.

    The files are not really deleted until they are crushed (although they are no longer available through conventional methods).  If you decide to try these recovery programs, you should stop using your drive hard immediately in order not to replace the data that you are trying to recover.  He slave on another PC and launch the recovery of this PC.  Even now you have definitely lost some of them if you use the same PC.  If you can not do this (slave on another PC), you run the risk of overwriting the data with every action you do on the PC (but you may still be able to recover some or most or even all files - it's a matter of luck).

  • Loss of historical emails using Windows Easy Transfer

    Was previously running Windows XP with Office 2010, including Outlook 2010. Want to upgrade to Office 2013 which does not work on Windows XP so decided to upgrade to Windows 7 Home premium.  Following the instructions in Microsoft that I used Windows Easy Transfer to save all settings and data by following the instructions on an external hard drive. Has also created a copy of My Documents just to be safe. Following the instructions I installed Windows 7, reinstalled the data and settings from the Windows download file is then installed Office 2013.

    All data files appear to be present and my contacts were all in Outlook 2013 however no historical emails were present. I had a lot of stored in subfolders under Inbox and sent messages and everything disappeared.

    It seems strange that all contacts were copied and transferred across using Windows Easy Transfer, but not historical emails. There is no specific reference to this problem in Microsoft "upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7 instruction set.

    Is it true that the files containing the e-mails were copied, but Outlook 2013 is looking for them in a different place, or does Windows Easy Transfer copy not the Inbox and sent to the files that would be a huge gap?

    Windows Easy Transfer is not good to backup Outlook emails at all.

    If you did a custom installation, check if the Windows.old folder to the root of the hard disk to see if your. PST file is there and copy it to your Documents folder in Windows 7.

    Save the folder outlook located under:

    C:\Windows.old\Documents and Settings\Account_Name\Local Settings\Microsoft\Outlook

    When you migrate to Windows 7, and then reinstall Microsoft Office, just backup copy of the contents of the folder Outlook in the following location:

    C:\Users\Account_Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\

    Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

    If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

  • Script for the use of XML data to pre file form open using the player

    I need to pre fill five fields when the user opens the form using Acrobat Reader (title, name, address, etc.). The values are saved in an xml data file in the same directory as the form (no database or web services connections). I tested the xml code and form structures using shapes-> manage form data-> import data and everything works fine. Now, I need to emulate this behavior programmatically, so it does not work using only Acrobat Reader. I can't find the magic java script command to import the data (I tried xfa.host.importData and xfa.datasets.data.loadXML without result). Require purchase Pro or Livecycle Server product is not an option. This seems to be a basic requirement, so I hope I'm just being stupid and missing of which is obvious. Thank you.

    Unless you're reader allowing the form with LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES, users with reader will NOT be able to import (or export) XML.
