My HP Pavilion dv5 1126em does not boot the system.

My laptop does not continue to boot the system, when I press the button it starts feeding and then he shows me the HP logo in the lower left corner "Press ESC for Boot Menu" does not continue, and stop there and does not respond to any button only for the power button then it turns off, I tried everything. It happened after wile recovering the session of my recovery disk.

Please help me identify what the problem is?

I hope I'm wrong, but it is quite possible that your hard drive is damaged and must be replaced. I'll tell you why I think so.

Last year at the end of December, I had the same problem with my HP Pavilion dv6. When I pressed the power button only the HP logo and the "press ESC for Boot Menu" appeared. I wasn't able to get into the BIOS or to do anything else. The laptop take-out hung on the HP Logo. I gave the laptop HP service and they told me that my hard drive has disappeared and they replaced. The strange was that my laptop was fairly new, I've had for 3 months. The good thing is that they have replaced the hard drive for free, because it was under warranty.

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World

    Hello

I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:

"Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"

    How can this be?

OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.

So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications

See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.

Then do a batt pull reboot:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

Then re - activate your THS:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now

Then re - send all the service books:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830&SLIC...

    Then do another reboot batt-pop.

Then, get a new link for AppWorld from here:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/appworld/download.jsp#tab_tab_download

And re - download and install it.

I hope it's going to go right. If not, then it could still be useful a call to Vodafone...

    See you soon!

  • HP Pavilion g6-1001sq does not recognise the Kingston SSD 300v

    Hello

I recently bought a disc SSD Kingston 300v to replace the default value of HDD on my HP Pavilion g6-1001sq laptop. The SSDS works on SATAIII (3), but the data sheet on the provider's site mentions that it is backward compatible with SATAII specification (2).

However, when you try to boot my system after installing the SSD, I get a message saying that there are no available boot drive. I updated my BIOS to the latest revision (F6.6), but it does not solve the problem.

I saw on the forums of HP support, this is a common problem with other models as well, but I was wondering if this question has found a solution or at least a reasonable explanation (preferably confirmed by HP as well).

I would like to know if the SSD firmware update might help. I'm a skeptic little about it since they already mention that SATAII is taken care of, but I'm willing to try that approach as well, if there is a reasonable explanation for it.

    Hello:

Have you installed an operating system?

If you do not install an operating system on your drive, you will get a no boot device.

  • HP Pavilion 500 - C60: HP Pavilion 500 - C60 does not recognize the container pictures xD

My PC has a slot with an image suggesting an SD card (showing the cut upper right corner). However, the number of internal contacts seems to be two times more than necessary by an SD card. Result: no SD card fits into the slot, but a XD card seems to have the exact number of the required connectors by an XD card. And indeed the xD fits perfectly into the slot.

    So far so good.

Problem is that the Windows 8.1 does not recognize the card. I searched using Google but couldn't find a solution.

    Can anyone help?

I ended up buying a Vivitar 5 in 1 card reader that plugs into a USB 2.0 and works fine all bypassing the hp pavilion integrated card reader. This allows me to read my old card xD, but there is a work-around, not a real solution. I rest my case.

  • HP Pavilion dv9000 - XP does not see the HARD drive, how to install it?

    Hello

I try to install XP SP3 on HP Pavilion dv9000, but XP Setup does not see the hard drive.

Can you please point me in right direction - what I do files and how to add them to the XP SP3 installation CD necessary?

I guess that somewhere there is a step-by-step detailed guide.

    Thank you

Enter the BIOS by pressing F10 at startup. If you have the option of Bios Setup to disable the native sata mode, XP will install without problem, no sata driver needed. It will be on the tab of the System Configuration.

If you do not have the setting in the Bios, it's the driver sata for your machine:

    Hello:

Most likely your laptop is only a single wireless card band (2.4 GHz) (model ending in bgn suffix).

Virtually no consumer class computer laptop HP made at the time came with a wireless card dual band (model ending in abgn or agn suffix).

    Hello

For me, it looks like a malfunction of the HARD drive and so the BIOS can not find a bootable device and goes to the last possible bootable option which is LAN.

The exclamation mark in front of the HARD drive indicates that there is a problem with the HARD drive so I think you need to replace the HARD drive and you need to reinstall the system.

PS: What laptop do you have exactly?

  • Install Windows 8 does not recognize the system drive

I built a new machine (chart below). Since this is a new machine and not an upgrade, I bought Win 8 Pro 64 bit OEM to do a clean install. The SSD is my system disk that Windows 8 will be installed. Four data drives are mirrored, two for the other two. Construction went perfectly. The BIOS recognizes all six disks: 1 SSD, 4 HDD, 1 DVD.

Insert and boot the disk of Windows 8. Accept the EULA, enter the product key. Arriving at the page "Where do you want to install Windows?", only four hard disks are listed. The SSD (installation to go) is not found by Win 8. ??? I tried to change ports SATA, cables, power supply - no difference. For each new change of hardware, the BIOS still sees everything. This isn't a hardware problem.

The question remains: why the installation of Windows 8 does not recognize the SSD drive. All five disks are on AHCI. I'm not in RAID.

I spoke with crucial technical support of all (manufacturer of the SSD). They were also surprised that the drive does not appear in the list.

Does anyone have a solution? I spent all the money on hardware, as well as the new version of Windows and I cannot install it.

This is the real kick in the teeth: Microsoft won't support me. The OEM of Windows 8 version is the same as manufacturers, such as Dell or HP. Support told me I had the support of the manufacturer. HA! I am the manufacturer. Either that or upgrade from an earlier version of Windows. This means that any that a new construction machine will get ZERO assumption of Microsoft. All just great.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

The DSS must be LOW LEVEL FORMATE.

Once, there may be no other [HDDs] not connected to the SATA ports.

    Install Windows 8 Pro now.

  • Does not open the system preferences of the Apple menu

Anyone know of a good solution for this?

A few weeks ago I started noticing that I couldn't open my application system preferences in the Apple Menu bar (via the Apple logo > system, or via the WiFi icon Preferences > network, or even Preferences by right-clicking on the desktop to change the desktop background, etc.).

    WHAT WORKS:

I can open the system preferences if I click directly on the application icon or you try to open it from the dock.

I can open the app in the Apple menu if I register as another user.

    WHAT DOES NOT WORK:

The problem does not go away when I restart in mode 'start '.

The problem does not go away when I run disk utility.

The problem does not go away when I remove the "Finder" and "System Preferences".plist file in the Preferences folder in the user's library.

The problem does not go away when I remove the files "Preferences panel" bury of the Cache in the user's library folder.

The problem does not go away when I zap the PRAM.

The problem does not go far if I replace the system preferences application from a recent backup.

I was about to just try and re-install the MacOS, but thought I would try the forums first, since the Apple Support site said that it should not be necessary if the problem is only limited to a user's profile. I found a lot of entries in the forums for this issue dated a few years ago and have tried most of the solutions, but I don't think that you can repair the permissions of the disc more on El Capitan.

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Given all of the things you tried that don't work, over time it would take to troubleshoot more, you could restore OS X in 45 minutes to an hour on a broadband connection using OS X Recovery.

Start your Mac while pressing the command + R keys. From there, you should be able to access the built in utility to verify and repair the disk from startup (if necessary) and OS X using OS X recoveryof restoration.
