I know that the headphone port doubles as an analog audio to as well as an optical digital output, but this port also accepts input optical? If not, is it possible to enter a digital signal via a USB port?
I have an iMac (20-inch, mid 2007).
Thanks to all who can help.

Yes exit usb audio and are truly comprehensive external soundcards, they can have any type of entry and exit of the machine to be desired that they have
and if they do a driver of OS x for him it's just a matter of connection installing the driver and choosing the entry in system preferences for being that
If the audio minijack that also take in charge the headset for iPhone I believe support the digital input and I don't know if

I did this, copied my iTunes folder of iMac to Macbook Pro according to the tutorial below, and my playlists are not displayed on my Macbook. My iMac has been reformatted since... It was my mistake, fitness before seeing that my playlists were not on my Macbook. Is it possible to get my playlists?
https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204318
Probably put you the folder in the normal position inside the music. Launch iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and navigate to the iTunes Library.itl file in the folder that you moved.

My hard drive on my IMac has only been replaced and now when I log in Lightroom it asks the serial number. I bought LR3 years and upgraded to 4 via the web. I have original in my LR3 product code number but not the serial number for my LR4. How can I get that?
If you have purchased lr4 where registered with adobe, consult your Adobe ID account - using the same adobe id for purchase / register.

iMac used to work... macbook pro for personal use. This weekend I noticed the list of bookmarks on macbook has been reduced to almost nothing and was not what was there anything I used normally. Report to work this morning and the same list of bookmarks is on my work computer. all brands of book that I use for work disappeared. How can I do to try to find my list of bookmarks. I did not any changes to the list or something like that. This iCloud is linked. Honestly I try not iCloud. Keep in mind that I suck at computers related things.
Use your Time Machine backup to restore the bookmarks. Here are the instructions:
Bookmarks in Safari are all stored in a file called bookmarks.plist, located on ~/Library/Safari. To access this file in the Finder, choose home page menu reach. Open the library folder, then open the Safari folder.
Once you have located the file in Time Machine (we must return to a time where you knew you had), click it and restore.
BTW, OS X won't eat bookmarks. You or another user on your computer does something to lose. By chance you run antivirus or cleaning applications on your computer? If so, this could be your problem.

Is it possible that my iMac has a virus? (Identifiers associated with PayPal)
My 27 "iMac, running OS X El Capitan, may have a virus.
My PayPal account has been compromised-more than 5 times. I've been creating ridiculously, long and complicated passwords to "update" my account, but a person continues to be able to charge small amounts to my account. PayPal said that there is nothing they can do and that my computer may have a virus.
Someone at - it no preview this please?
Thank you very much!
Your mac doesn't have a virus, there is no Mac viruses at the moment and PayPal is full of $#! +
You don't need to hack into a computer to hack into a PayPal account. The infinitely simpler to access the account from anywhere in the world, on any computer as long as you have a working password. Infinitely from Latin "infant" as an infant can hack an account without your computer because that while your computer CAN keep the log/pass info: PAYPAL ALWAYS has to KEEP THAT on THEIR SYSTEMS.
Create a more complex password and change and do not use it on other computers not in your possession.

Download and run Etrecheck. Copy and paste the results in your response. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that has been developed by one of the most respected users here (and recommended by Apple Support personnel) of the CSA to provide a snapshot of the system and to help identify the most obvious culprits of software that can adversely affect the performance of Mac.
