My images are completely different while I work in Bridge and Photoshop (CS6) than they do once they are saved.

They look normal while I'm working on Bridge or Photoshop but when I saved them (no matter how save them - jpeg, png, it's all the same) and view them with any other program or on any other computer blacks go through the roof and the contrast is too high.  I didn't have this problem at all on CS3 and I use the same computer and the monitor.

RAW files are on the color profile, you request to Camera Raw for use when they are developed in images.

I don't want to be critical, but now you really need to take it on you to go out and read what you can about color management.  It simply CANNOT be taught both a post on a forum, and you have already seen some of the limitations avoid learning how it works.  It is also quite impossible to guess just with settings and make things - you need to understand what you are doing to be able to make the choice of color management that make sense for you, given your needs and your goals.

It is not impossible to learn.  How do you think twenty_one and I know how to advise you?  But be aware that there are many people who do not really understand who will try to advise you to "just do it...". "You must understand that what you read will be good and keep at it.  Understanding will rise.

  • Camera Raw 5.6 Bridge and Photoshop CS4 - back to the original image

New for Raw formats, bridge and CS4:

Question: I understand that when I opened the bridge images in Camera Raw, and then expand them changes aren't destructive or permanent, BUT I don't know how to get an image to its original data after I changed it. I don't know how to return the image to the original in Camera Raw or when I clicked "Done", returned to the bridge and want to, then try again with the original. How can return an image to its data or the original look?

    Help would be appreciated.

Since you didn't say what specific versions and what specific model of Nikon camera, it's just a guess: you have a D810 and updated to 2015 CC with cab 9.1 and your camera profile that said Adobe Standard now says flat camera.

The problem is that somehow versions.1 are ignores Adobe Standard profile and go to the next in the list that is flat camera.

The temporary solution until Adobe gives us a version.2 that works, once again, is to download and install the Adobe D810 Standard profile in the common area of the users profile.  Here is an Adobe help page on this topic:

  • Working with Illustrator and Photoshop-small question

Hello, I am working on a 16. "x 21.5" printed for a class as a final note.  I think I already know the answer to that, but I really need to be sure.  I mainly work in Adobe Illustrator, trying to get a look simple but complex vector for my room and lets just say he quickly became real complex.  I am currently working on 1 impression of 2 and I do traces of image of a batch of raster images I did for this project.  It's all in color, so there are probably thousands of separate objects now, so of course Illustrator starts to slow down a little (lag a bit on mine and almost always a stand on any computer in the school).  I have just a few details to work out, so I can deal with the LAG, but I fear that if the printing process can take some time (there are other students who need to print of course).  I thought to put all my objects and layers in Photoshop and flatten the image to we hope to facilitate things on printers.  So here's my question: do I put the image in Photoshop and flatten out it, the draw would still have this nice clean edge of a vector image?  This is probably a stupid question, I know, normally, I would ask the teacher however it is not the best with computers.  It's my last, I just need to be 100% sure.  If this wont work, I need to find a way to make smoother Illustrator with my detailed image.  Thanks for the help.

If you bring your Illustrator art into Photoshop and flatten it, your art is now not vectorized pixels. So technically Yes, you'll lose some of the edge of pleasant eigenvector. BUT, given your situation, the fact that this printing to a printer from school, your solution is good. The quality loss will be imperceptible to most and will certainly save you headaches of printing possible. Follow these steps.

    (1) create a new Photoshop document to the same size print as your Illustrator document.

    (2) set the resolution to 300 dpi (this will be more than a resolution high enough to maintain the appearance of cutting edge of vector)

    (3) make sure that the (RGB or CMYK) color space is the same as you have used for Illustrator. Make sure that the icc profile is the same too.

    (4) place the Illustrator art in the Photoshop document.

    (5) save the file in TIFF, without diapers

  • I noticed that some jpeg (RGB) images are not display in Internet Explorer 11, but they present very well in other browsers. In addition, the images used to display properly in Internet Explorer. No idea what is happening?

I noticed that some jpeg images are not display in Internet Explorer 11, but they display well in other browsers. I checked they are RGB images, because apparently some people accidentally use the CMYK format. IE is configured to display the images - I checked that also. The images used to display properly in Internet Explorer, and the images have not been changed on the server. The content was created using Dreamweaver CS6 and Photoshop CS6.

I tried to view the page on other computers running IE, and they also have this problem.

Any idea of what could be causing this to happen?

Thanks for looking in this people!

I discovered that prevented a few images to display in IE 11, while other images show. The culprit was Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Once, I disabled the software Adblock Plus missing images showed once again. Interestingly, I discovered that I could cause the same effect in other browsers using Adblock software. There is either a bug in the software of Adblock, or fluid network of Adobe system, which caused some legitimate images should be blocked. Whatever it is, they do not play well together right now. All images are stored on the same domain, and none of them related off site, so it's pretty weird that they have been blocked...

Anyway, the mystery is solved! I know people like to see a conclusion to these things as much as possible, so I'll mark this as resolved issue.

  • Photshop images are "negative color".

I installed Adobe CS6 suite on a new laptop computer and Photoshop shows all images in color "negative."

Adobe Elements displays the image very well.  Video driver is up-to-date and accurate.  I have not changed preferences.

Also, if I save the image under a different name, the thumbnail seems functional and opens very well in the elements.

Only in Photoshop (I tried x 32 and x 64 exe) with this problem.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the program.

  • Russel Brown Image Processor Pro works is not about Photoshop CC 2015.5.0

    Hi all

I went to install Russell Brown Image Processor Pro 2.3.1 on my Adobe Bridge / Photoshop CC. I have a Mac computer and that you have installed manually (by following the steps described in the provided Pdf) the Image Processor Pro by dropping plug-ins in their designated files.

Now, once I did, the Image Processor Pro is displayed in the menu drop-down from the bridge, and when I press on it (once), the only thing it does is to start the Photoshop application without further intervention. There is not a pop-up of any kind.

I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015.5.0.

My question is, does anyone know a workaround for this problem?

    Thank you

Update: for what it's worth, I managed to find a Dr. Browns Services facility, and who install it on the site of Adobe here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons

It has an option to install it, which is what I did, and that's available on the CC bridge, however with the warning.

Whenever I get close the bridge and then run it again, a pop up appears to indicate this:

I click Yes, and then go the preferences at the bridge, as part of Startup Scripts, activate the Services of RD Browns. I close the bridge, start it again, then get this popup:

I choose ok, Bridge opens, I go to tools and in its menu, there is Image Processor Pro Dr Browns Services and fully operational.

As long as I never close the bridge, Image Processor Pro is still there, but whenever I close the bridge, I need to follow the same steps above here.

Hope this can help someone out there.

  • Adobe Android 5.0 CC brush works only with Illustrator and Photoshop CC 2015

Why do I create brushes with mobile app Adobe brush CC on my Samsung Galaxy 3 with Android 5.0 doesn't work with Illustrator and Photoshop CC 2015 for OSX Imac, retina desktop application 5 k 10.10.5 Yosemite? Says: the format is not supported!Schermata 2015-09-20 alle 16.16.45.png

    Hi Chris,

I said to you earlier through reactions in app. But just in case you look here first...

None of the Adobe tools use the same rendering template, each tool has its own format of brush and the brush characteristic, so not every brush works in all applications.

You cannot use a brush in Illustrator into Photoshop or sketch, or a drawing brush in Photoshop or Illustrator. Photoshop rendering template just can't manage that made the sketch, it works in a very different way. That's why when you create a brush brush, you must choose which tool you will target. If you are ultimate goal is to use the brushes in Ps rather than in the skit, then you need to limit yourself to the brushes Ps targeted when you get to the Style section (look for the Ps icon in the upper left section, after the Sketch in Photoshop brushes).

When you save a brush, you are redirected to a screen (where it can be edited/nameed). This is also where you can see which brush to work with each application. The first three are sketches of Photoshop. If you scroll down you will see the brushes for PS and AI. When you save, except for the application in which you will use it. Let me know if that clears things up for you.

Try this with one of your brushes:

Go to your library and choose a brush

Tap the change (square with a pen). This will open a Visual list of brushes

If you want to use a sketch brush, choose one of these brushes (tap the circle to check), name it and save it. It will save in your library as a brush drawing, and as soon as it syncs you should be able to open in the skit. Once on the sketch, now a pressure on the fifth brush in the toolbar and your library of brushes should be there. The same process works for brushes for Photoshop and Illustrator CC.

Let me know if you're still having problems.

    Sue.

  • How to set EPSON Scan 3.07 to work in Adobe Photoshop CS6 Import window in Mac OS 10.9.4 Mavericks

I cannot scan with my EPSON Perfection 2480 PHOTO scanner images, as it did when I used Photoshop CS2 Photoshop CS6. I downloaded the latest driver (EPSON Scan A 3.07), and placed his plugin directly in the folder Plug - ins Photoshop CS6, it is still not appearing in the import / import Images from the Device menu option. Is there a way to make this work? Certainly, I am able to use EPSON Scan out of Photoshop, but I would rather simply scan while in Photoshop CS6. (I use a Mac using OS X version 10.9.4 Mavericks).

No doubt read this article: Get your scanner to work with Photoshop CS6 | Macworld

More than likely your Twain driver is 32-bit and Photoshop CS6 is pure 64-bit. Then you should look at the ideas in this article.

  • Preview image in the dialogue window open (Photoshop CS6)

    Hello

We had an opportunity to see the preview of the images in the dialog open Photoshop CS5 file, but in the new version of CS6 there is not this possibility. Should I forget about this option and use the Mini Bridge?

    Just for clarity:

What we're talking about being absent from Photoshop CS6 is the preview at the bottom of the dialog box that was there in Photoshop CS5 and earlier versions:

That's what you see now with Photoshop CS6:

They are two operating system dialog boxes.  It's just that Adobe has completed dialog box to add additional features found in Photoshop CS5 and previous dialog boxes and which has been deleted for some unknown reason.  Note that they have NOT removed all breast augmentation - this little box of sequence of images [] is not provided by Windows.

[MODERATOR] Mark this message as correct because it perfectly illustrates the problem. This topic is discussed further here: Photoshop: no preview of the image on the open dialog box in CS6
