My images from 16 painter are very slow to be downloaded.

It takes about 24 hours for the images to be imported. Meanwhile, import the button is grayed out.

I am answering my own post. To solve the problem, I left LR even though he informed me that he was not finished import. I opened it then LR and the import button was still functional and all appeared in the file.

I installed esxi5.1 Server poweredge r715 ADM Opteron 6238 processor. the bios of the server is upgraded to the latest version 2.9.0

VM with l.o. xp 32-bit and Windows 2003 are very slow and found to have 100% of the CPU.

This problem also happens with the new machine virtual and not only moved to another computer virtual infrastructure.

Support DELL has verified the server BIOS settings and it's ok

    Thank you

    Mr. Nelli

This BIOS version introduces a few new States C. can you check that your power supply is set to 'Maximum Performance' and that you have disabled C1E.

  • Exp and Imp are very slow

We have a system in version 9.2.8 leagcy and export and import are very slow. It takes almost 3 hours to 30 GB of data. Is there a way we can do it quickly? HELPPP me.

    EXPORT:

Set the buffer setting to a high value (e.g. 2Mb - entered as an integer "2000000")
Set the RECORDLENGTH parameter to a high value (e.g. 64 KB - entered as an integer "64000")
Use DIRECT = yes (direct mode export)
Stop unnecessary applications to free resources for your work.
If you run multiple sessions of export, ensure the different physical disks, write.
Do NOT export to a mounted NFS filesystem. It will take forever.

  • Slideshows are very slow loading and sometimes cling to images?

I had a problem with slideshow not loading or getting hung up on images. I tried it on several computers and having the same problem on all of them, I optimized my images for the web and no image is longer then 1.5 MB. I don't know what to do at this point.

    www.raswimmers.com

    A few tips:

    (1) avoid using system fonts.

Your main menu and perhaps other text blocks, use system fonts. When a system font is used the block of text is converted to an image. This result in a request to the server by the text block, which slows down the loading of the page. If possible, use a Web font. If the edge of the Web fonts do not include a suitable font, then consider using a font 'Web Safe'. Only as a last resort, use a system font.

    (2) when a masked image is on a solid background, Cook the solid background in the image. This will make the opaque image that would be encoded as JPEG rather then PNG. For a photographic image, JPEG is generally 1/5th the size of the transparent PNG original without significant reduction in the quality of the image.

    (3) for the images of the full slide show screen, use enregistrer to save for Web in Photoshop, then select setting the lowest quality and compact size you can tolerate in terms of image quality. Your images are 2048 on the long side and about 'high' quality JPEG. You can consider if 'Medium' is tolerable. It's always a compromise of image quality performance and page load.

1.5 MB for a single image is a bit. In general, a good goal for an entire web page is to aim for 2-3 MB in total. Average U.S. broadband speed is equivalent to about 900 k per second downloads with the average is higher on the sides and lower the Central US. Thus, a single 1.5 image will take a few seconds to download.

In the case of a slideshow Muse will load the image with the page, and then load the other images in the background after the page loaded, so in general, you can just have images in a slide show beyond the data total guideline of 2-3 MB.

If you encounter a case where a slide show is at a standstill, please send us the URL of the page so that we can investigate.

  • recently I upgraded my adobe acrobat in my 3rd generation ipad ios 8.1.2 after update my files manual pdf including more than 500 MB are very slow to respond and stuck all the time... .it has become a big problem for me now... I'm stuck... can not

    Help me

Player crashes with files larger than 700 MB

700 MB files are exceptionally large.  Any PDF reader you choose, it would be slow to display the content of a PDF in particular for previous generations of iPhones/iPads with CPU/GPU less powerful.

Because your files are so large, I am afraid that you will not be able to share files with us (Adobe) via attachments or links to the cloud storage.

Here are a few suggestions (not solutions, however).

    • Update to the latest version of iOS on your iPad.  iOS 8.1.2 is old enough. In general, you will get the performance and bug fixes update to a newer iOS.
    • Try other free PDF viewers for iOS.  For example, try Apple iBook.  You will not be able to add comments, annotations or filling out forms.  But it may be more appropriate for display.
    • Use the desktop version of Acrobat Reader.   All desktop/laptop computers are faster than iOS devices.

We will make an effort to improve performance with large and complex files in Acrobat Reader for iOS. However, it would be difficult to overcome the limitations of hardware and file size. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • ThinApp packages are very slow on Win7 64 bit

    Hello

I am facing a strange problem.

A large number of packets passed a client on WinXP with ThinApp 4.7.1 was not compatible with win7.

Repeated customer requests for scrach on a clean win7 64 Virtual Machine.

New packages work on win7 64 machines, but very very slowly (about 200% slower).

It sews the biggest package is, the slower, the package is runing.

Customer must take a position now. It continues with ThinApp or it restarts with physical application (because a Win7 migration begins in 2 months).

Someone has an idea or a solution to improve performance?

VMware one can give me an official status of Win7 64 b thinapp compatibility?

There is a problem of performance known with 4.7.1 do not know if this applies to your customer well.

You must contact VMware Support and file an SR to solve this problem.

  • Multiple vCPUs are very slow

I found whenever I place using several nuclei, the guest is super slow.  Does anyone know the reason?  The system specification is 2 Core i7, which has 4 cores, each with hyperthreading, i.e. 8 logical processors.

This phenomenon occurs on OpenSolaris and Windows Server 2008 R2.

Specifically, once before that I wrote a program, which is purely CPU bounded, which has no IO and memory very little access, to test the performance of the processor.  When I compiled and run it in OpenSolaris guest, running with a thread as quickly as if it was running on the host computer.  However, when I use 2 wires, each is significantly slower than the single thread.  The guest of OpenSolaris is configured to use 2 CPUs.

The other observation is when I install server on Windows 2008 R2 comments RAID5, it's fast (16-20 MB/s), if I put it on 1 CPU.  But when I try to configure 2 CPUs, performance decreases signifantly (3 Mbps), and the guest is so slow that there can be no answer to my mouse click.

My conclusion is therefore, on my machine, it seems a CPU is fast (near-native), but multiple vCPUs a performance problem.  Isn't anyone know why or know another thread has what?  Thank you very much.

BTW: my host CPU's Core 4 w / HT, but I set up my guest for 2 processors and 1 for each processor core.  Change to 1 CPU with 2 hearts on this subject will be better?

    icando9 wrote:

It is not quite explain why.

Not necessarily. It is a rule of thumb, not a law. Depending on how many clients and their number of vCPU and on the load on the host computer, this may apply. Even if all clients except for one have only one vCPU this particular comment with still two of vCPU must wait until the two nuclei is free. Who takes always longer than if she is not to wait two hearts.

In general, you should always start with the least possible vCPU. Virtualization environments attributing more vCPU can degrade the overall performance.

In addition, according to the guest OS a huge load of CPU interrupts is generated by the virtual timers. According to the kernel Linux, for example, can generate 1000 + 1000 x n (n is the number of vCPU) interrupts per second per guest.

Two guests with such a core, and each of them with two vCPU to generate a load of 6000 interupts per second, even when they do nothing else.

BTW: assigning 2 processors with 1 core each and 1 CPU with 2 hearts makes a difference?

Yes it can. Depending on the application. If she makes intensive use of the caches of the processor that best you do not want to have two vCPU running on a CPU cores because they can use the same hidden then.

Running on an iMac nine CC 2014: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB.

I have a minute 2.5 timeline with many clips of dynamic links to simple after effects CC 2014 comps. Rendering in this chronology is mind bogglingly slow.

Video rendering and playback renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine accelerated GPU (CUDA)

And in the preferences > memory > I have optimized rendering for 'Performance '.

My script uses Apple Pro Res 422 as my codec video preview with selected render quality and Maximum Bit depth.

    Renders should be shouting.

Everyone knows this? I did something stupid in my implementation?

No, not at all complicated. This is nuts, that's what fixed it, check it out:

Go to ~/Library/Application Support and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

Then, go to ~/Library/Preferences and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

Then go to Documents and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

This seems to force the system to recreate these directories and then... it works! That devil knows why.

Support says that it has already been exceeded on the development team.

  • Built-in Web vedio are steeming very slow

    Hello
I used Del inspiron 1500 with Windows XP SP3 on it. After so many years of usage, all of a sudden I am facing a weird problem. Videos of youtube or megavideo etc do not play correctly. The frames are very slow as the film at a moment of moviing stucks and again after 10 pictures it turns into another frame again stuck. I need to watch videos like images not like the movie, the sound is good, that it keeps going even video crashes. I thought that perhaps it would be old computer and its running very slowly and the need to factory reset and did. First days let say 5 days has worked and started the problem.  When I studied a lot of things and found that some security updates Windows media player is what makes this problem and after uninstalling all of these updates for windows media player security, he normally plays. After 2 days the problem reoccured and this time I checked in my Add / Remove programs to see if the update security update for WMP installed again but there is no update for him, but always get this question.

Can someone help me please how to fix this.

    Hello

    ·         What web browser are you using to view the videos?

    ·         Have you updated the latest drivers from the computer's video card?

  • Given that downloading Firefox, my mouse is sticky and MSN games are hard to play and very slow to download. Any suggestions?

I checked the system, apparently the mouse works fine. The games are very slow to download, and it is almost impossible to play because the mouse is so slow.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Satellite L850 1LK very slow to load images

Ive had this machine for almost 3 years, it was fine for the first two, but now that it does become a chore.
I only really ever use it to surf the internet and upload pictures and its main problem is the use of the internet.
Images and web pages are extremely slow to load even on a good fast wired connection. Ive had the computer restored by a local store who claimed they reset the map graphic, but in reality they probably just restored to the factory under the toshiba bloatware.
It worked fine for 2 days, then became slow again, im glad this is not a virus or malware related problem.
Just wondering realistic if we can do something with it, or is it better to forget everything and move on to something new.
Its been updated level to windows 10, but the problem existed on 8 too.
    Thanks in advance.

Try an update of Windows to reinstall Windows.
Pilots precedents or browser plugins can be the cause of the problem
