First Pro CC 2014 renders are very slow.

Running on an iMac nine CC 2014: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB.

I have a minute 2.5 timeline with many clips of dynamic links to simple after effects CC 2014 comps. Rendering in this chronology is mind bogglingly slow.

Video rendering and playback renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine accelerated GPU (CUDA)

And in the preferences > memory > I have optimized rendering for 'Performance '.

My script uses Apple Pro Res 422 as my codec video preview with selected render quality and Maximum Bit depth.

Renders should be shouting.

Everyone knows this? I did something stupid in my implementation?

No, not at all complicated. This is nuts, that's what fixed it, check it out:

Go to ~/Library/Application Support and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

Then, go to ~/Library/Preferences and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

Then go to Documents and rename the folder Adobe OldAdobe

This seems to force the system to recreate these directories and then... it works! That devil knows why.

Support says that it has already been exceeded on the development team.

  • Chronology of the first Pro CC 2014 at Encore CS6

Hello. I'll try to find the way to take my first Pro CC 2014 calendar and put directly in CS6 even with them having to export my 2 hour movie? I know that both use to integrate before CC, but do not know if there was a work around? Could use very little help.

No dynamic link between CC14 first and still CS6.

You need to export from first (using a built-in mpeg2-dvd) and load the files into Encore.

If you are not sure, it will adapt to using a bitrate calculator.

    Dennis,

Changing the video rendering engine should have solved the problem. Is it still pending?

  • No visible video in the source or program windows - first Pro CC 2014 8.2.0

I've just updated for first Pro CC 2014 version 8.2.0, and now no matter what I try, no video is visible in the source or program window.  I used 8.0.0 with no problems (at least not this one), but was forced to update to open the calendar of a customer.  I was having exactly the same problem with the update 8.1 a few months ago and has been forced to downgrade to 8.0.0 to see my video.

It doesn't matter what is the codec, or if it is an image file, bars and tone or a title rendered in first.  Nothing.  If I play or rub I hear audio, video, not at all.

It really blows that a project saved to 8.2 will not be open to 8.0.  They are the two Premiere Pro CC 2014.

Looks like it has something to do with my video card, because when I resize the Windows I'm presented with a bunch of flight of the vertical blue lines.

I'm on a 2012 bicoeur Mac Pro with OS 10.9.5, ATI Radeon HD 5870 video card stock.

I looked first preferences to see if there is some kind of active Accelerator GPU or something, but I don't see anything like that.  Anywhere else that I can look at?

It is a big problem.  I pay $50 / month for this?

Okay, I found the problem.  My project settings had failed in the Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (Open CL).  I guess that ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB card is not compatible with this, so go to the option of read only software resolved the problem.

    Phew.

  • The video is dark and black and white - first Pro CC 2014

    Hello world

I just downloaded the demo for first Pro CC 2014 and started working on the beginner tutorials. Loading videos in PPCC, they play back very dark black and white. Audio is good but the video is barely visible.

I use the tut files from prod_cc_learn_pr_getstarted. Videos look in Windows media player and VLC, there seems to be something to do with the way PPCC is rendered.

Is there any configuration that I need to change or what material?

My GPU is a little and not supported by Adobe, but I thought that software rendering would continue to operate.

I have no problem with the video in Pinnacle studio or studio GoPro.

    System:

    Win 7 PRO

    Intel Core i5 750 2.67 GHz

    16 GB RAM RIPJAWS

    ASUS P7P55D PRO

    ATI Radeon HD 4800

I should have done a reboot before posting. The problem has been resolved.

  • First Pro CC 2014 Transitions

Hello everyone, I used Adobe Master Collection CS5.5 until a few weeks ago, when I bit the bullet and bought a subscription CC 2014. I absolutely love the new software - very impressed!

I use Premiere Pro a lot, and the first thing I noticed about first Pro CC 2014 compared to CS5.5 is that CC 2014 has far fewer transitions - for example transitions such as the 'Stretch In' who were present in CS5.5 transition do not seem present in 2014 CC more. There are many others also.

I have installed Premiere Pro CS6 on my PC tonight alongside all the stuff of CC 2014 (I got it on my subscription) and I notice that CS6 has all the transitions that I used in CS5.5. Is it possible to get my CS6 transitions newly installed to work in CC 2014?

    Thank you!

    Many transitions got canned:

Help, I can't open any of my files in adobe first pro cc 2014, using the 30 day trial of creative cloud, every time, I try to view my files, it crashes!

    Hi Sheila,

    Try this:

Before you import your files, go to file > project settings > General and change the rendering engine video software of Mercury playback engine only. Click OK, and then select Remove previews. Then import your files.

I would like to know if it works.

    Thank you

  • First Pro CC 2014.2 - Crash when you drag videofile in timeline

    Hey guys,.

When I try to drag an image or videofile (doesn't really matter what file format, codec or length) in a sequence first Pro CC 2014.2 will crash immediately, without warning. Just the usual "Adobe Premiere has stopped working" in Windows 7.

I use Windows 7 64-bit with 4 GB of RAM, Intel Core i3-4130 NECK @ 3.40 GHz and an Intel HD Graphics 4400. Premiere Pro worked no problem a few days before, with no changes to the system. The error occurred in first Pro CC 20141 too. Maybe that's a problem with the preview of the video? Music files are no problem.

Thanks in advance! Need help as soon as possible. Visitors are waiting

    Solution:
My graphics not supported the "Mercury Playback Engine (Open CL) GPU acceleration. You can replace "Mercury Playback Engine software only" in your project settings.
But it's in the wrong place in my opinion. Why not in "Edit/Preferences"? I could have changed by myself, but I have not found the menu.

  • I am in the course of one screenshot simulation captivate in 6 session and then edit it in first pro cc 2014 when I import the video into the first, it's blurred

Caution - I'm relatively new to adobe captivate and first, so I hope it's a matter of simple adjustment I was not able to understand.  When I do a capture video captivate 6 the output mp4 is very clear.  If I play it in windows media player, it's loud and clear.  If I import this same mp4 into Premiere Pro CC 2014, it is very blurry.  My simulation has gauges and dials which must be clear and I need to "mix" audio sounds, narration and system in this video.  Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hey Korn Check-6,

What is your resolution of reading on? 1/4? 1/2? Full?

    Thank you

  • First Pro CC (2014) crashing during a sequence

I just did a clean install of OS X Yosemite and installed Creative cloud on my MacPro 2008. Whenever I make a new sequence or open a saved draft of Premiere Pro CS6, first Pro CC 2014 still crashes. I don't know what is happening because before I upgraded to OS X from Mavricks, I used Premiere Pro CS6 without any problem at all. Help, please! Thank you!

    Here are my MacPro settings:

Here are the errors I get:

That empty space is usually said this:

OK I seemed to "solve" the problem. I have two video cards on my MacPro:

I have a monitor Setup three with two monitors on the 2600 XT and a single on the 6870. I disconnected the two monitors on the 2600 XT and created a new sequence and it does not crash. Not quite sure what's happening with this because this has never been a problem while I was running Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. I still don't want to run an installation monitor three but the 6870 does not support three monitors. If all goes well, there is an Adobe update that will correct this problem.

Is it possible that first will not try to use the other video card?

  • Cannot get card GeForce GTX 560 Ti CUDA to work with the new version of first Pro CC 2014

In the past, I was able to get CUDA on my GeForce GTX 560 Ti card to work with the Mercury playback engine by adding 'GeForce GTX 560 it' in the file cuda_supported_cards.txt. But with the new version of CC 2014 first, this file is not in the repertoire of Premiere Pro more. Is there a way to get my GTX 560 it be listed as a card support for CUDA with CC 2014?

So, I thought about it.  I installed the latest graphics driver, and then open the NVIDIA Control Panel.  Here, I've selected "Manage 3D settings" and went to the 'Program settings' tab  I chose Adobe Premiere (adobe first pro.exe) in the list and under the function of "CUDA" - GPU, I changed to "Use these GPU" and selected my GTX 560 it (which was the only one listed).

After that, I opened the first Pro CC 2014 and selected 'Project Settings - général' and was therefore able to choose "Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration" under Renderer (which was unavailable).

I hope this will help someone else if they encounter the same problem.
