  New here so first of all, Hello to all.

  Need some advice if possible please.
  I just got a new laptop L350-170 with Windows Vista Home Premium.
  I went thro' the installation process and created with the program toshiba recovery disks but also make the thro' the post.

  What I want to do now is create an image of the full backup ' c' drive now that I have installed additional programs and adjust settings to get the laptop how I want it.

  I've tried acronis true image, but laptop won't boot from the restore cd, even tho ' cd/dvd is set in the bios as "first boot.
  Says it can't find the "boot partition" and assume that it is something with the toshiba restore program not be circumvented.

  Is there a 'ghost' type program that will allow me to create an image, and then start the disk in order to restore everything from the created image and therefore not lose everything I installed carefully?

  I suppose that, if I try to use the toshiba program once again, it will only reproduce the original installation.
  I hope someone can advise.

  Hello!

  The Toshiba recovery disc sets only the laptop back to the factory settings. It s not a program backup like Acronis, but with the recovery disc you have installation of Windows with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba.

  What version of Acronis True Image do you use? I use version 11 and I have no problem on my laptops and PCs. It works perfectly.
  Maybe you should do a update.

  Have you set the SATA mode in the BIOS to AHCI or compatible? Maybe you need a driver SATA when you have defined it AHCI, but I think in its new version of Acronis you t need a n.

  I'm trying to export approximately 331 images and I get an error report saying that only 169 of the exported images due to the inability to create files for 159 of the images.  Then the report gives me the names of files of the first 100 images for which files were not created.  After looking at many images that would not create a file, I realized that, in any case, there was at least one, if not several, other images with the SAME EXACT FILE name as the image in question.  I can't change the names of files by right click on "info".  I tried to export the images and change the names of files to export using the sequential option and the option of album name - always having exactly the same problem.  I even tried not to export an image at once and change the name of the file individually or no available. Is there a work around that? I desperately need to export those specific images. I am trying to create a photo album for shown to mothers who choose a family with which you want to place their child/ren for adoption. I'm at my wit's end.  The kicker is I'm moving towards trying to export all my pictures, and that's going to be a HUGE problem in course for me, so I really hope that there is a way around this question somewhat simply. I am a hobby photographer and use the computer for businesses and crafts.  I've seen a few posts that included answers referencing "AppleScript" - I have no idea how to do something like that.

  I am facing a strange problem...
  
  (1) I plugged in sqlplus as the user's system.
  (2) I started to import into the system of the user (database).
  Initially, the import errors (such as the user/role object already exists) because the import executed a few times (and these objects have been created). Then, all other objects are failed - when importing - with the message "/ user role does not exist.
  (3) to confirm that I am logged in as system (step 1 above), the user is not connected any longer due to the name of username/password error.

  After little understanding (maybe I'm wrong in understanding); So, that means there are two sessions in v$ session to System i.e. SQLPLUS and other import user. If due to any reason finished importing, SQLPUS session will not be terminated, because they are two different sessions.

  Or, please elaborate further.

• Web images are blurred when exporting to PDF

  We constantly place web (72 dpi) images in InDesign presentation documents, then export the PDF file for our customers. However when the PDF file is exported it makes images to 72 dpi blurred. I tried all combinations to export the PDF file I can think is to say high quality printing, change of compression to zero, change of color of the images "Do not downsample", export to interactive PDF and change the resolution etc and it always seems to compress my images every time.

  Any ideas?

  Note: The only way I found it is to recreate the images in the form of 150ppi however need an another solution because they must be 72 dpi.

  Acrobat displays the default images to 96 DPI system.

  In Acrobat, go into preferences and under the Page display, you can insert a custom resolution that will probably solve your problem.

  Note that this is an individual setting, other computers may not have this together.

  "If your original image is 4:3 (or you can use the 4 x 3 aspect crop tool), then set: Long Edge ' to 800pixels.

  A horizontal image export will be 800 x 600.  A vertical export will be 600 x 800.

  If you choose 'Width and height' in resizing options, W = 800 and H = 600, then.

  A horizontal export will be 800 x 600.  A vertical export will be 450 x 600.

  Resize Width and Height settings in the dialog box should be regarded as "Maximum" size of the exported image. The image should "worthy" in data dimensions, regardless of its proportions.

  I would like to be able to use a metadata field in a model of watermark. In this way, I don't have to continue to create a new version for each year of copyright and then use this watermark preset when exporting.   It is not possible in the Publisher of watermark in Lightroom. But you can do it by using a plugin like LR/Mogrifyfor Lightroom. It allows you to watermark text including tokens for many fields of metadata, including copyright law, so that the watermark to each image will be created from its own metadata.

  You cannot use a disk/license update of XP in a Virtual Machine.

  You need a Full Disk/license XP that isn't a Licence(pre-installed by the Computer Manufacturer) OEM from another computer.

  The vector control was introduced in v23. Open the properties of Folio and check the version number of the spectator. It should be v23 or later version. If you update the version of folio Viewer, update the article as well, and should no longer be pixelated.
