  Tried to do without step 2 - to reinstall the driver right after having been deleted - without success.
  Tried to remove the driver and then restore an old via Recovery Manager - Beats audio control panel is displayed but there is no sound at all!
  I think I tried all possible combinations of actions. Beats Audio Control Panel works without noise and noise without BACP. But never together.

  When you deleted the program, program who are you referring?

  You can try to perform a system restore and see if it helps.

  You can try to perform a restore of the system to a prior restore point you have been affected by the issue.

  Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  I have a thinkpad R51, and recently, I decided to reset to the factory settings. However, I also had installed linux and when I tried this it has failed and to restart, there was a grub error. As I was doing before, I put a CD in XP randomly and did a fixmbr, but this time, when I tried to restart the entire disk had disappeared. So now, windows no longer existed.
