  • Flashing black screen in Photoshop CC

Hi everyone. I suspect that others have this problem after the update too but have yet to see a way around it. I'm under the last cc photoshop on a new iMac. Time to time, the screen flashes black and the screen appears misaligned. This seems to happen randomly, but almost whenever I hold the space bar to navigate around the screen. I can't be the only one with the problem as youtube shows someone else having exactly the same problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aGJBafQWTg I installed the last branch, but it did not help. Any suggestion or help?

It is a known issue on the iMac 4K, and we expect to hear back from Apple on the OS bug that forced him.

  • Flashing black screen

    Hello

As of late, every time I have reconstruct my pool of Windows 7, my users report that when they type their password, the screen flashes black on and off a bunch of times and then finally logs in. This only happens during the initial connection after a restructuring. They connect via zero Clients

    Any suggestions? See 4.6

    Mike

Perhaps, but I suspect video ram first...  You would be able to confirm if the resolution was the issue by defining the model of the virtual machine to the lowest resolution used by your users.  Ask these users to see if they see the flashing when they connect after a restructuring.  The resolution on their virtual machines PCoIP, would not be affected as it would for users with higher resolutions.

I would really like someone to be able to help me with this. I bought Windows 8 Pro to my laptop from my wife and also 3 other copies for my father-brother machines... and now, I had to disable the Windows updates for each of them because of this!
All our computers are HP, maybe that has something to do with it? I do not know. Or maybe it had something to do with the fact that machines did not originally come with pre-installed Win8 (as I said above, I bought the discs retail - 5 of them).
I really enjoy using Windows 8 and won't go down to Win7 after all my work and spent $$$.
PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

    Update:

With the help of my friend and colleague some at CreativX.net, Greg (gsw953), which has tested this situation on a machine of his, we think we have found what was causing the problem:
All my machines are patched (I used UltraUXThemePatcher to patch mine) to run custom themes, 3 rd-party... Of course, the patcher (all of them, not just the one I use) modifies several system files (for example the shell32.dll file and a few others), what makes your system able to run themes not digitally signed by Microsoft. This seems to be the rub.
The way I solved this Aalders - UN-patch my system. Most patchers have an uninstall feature that uninstalls the patcher and adds by default, system files not patches in your system from backups that patch is when you have it installed. Once I did, I got all the updates, restarted, then re-patched my system and everything was fine.
I have the feeling that this same routine can must be made (UN-patch, get updates, re-patch) whenever MS publishes major updates of Win8... It is prudent to disable automatic updates. Better to have Windows Update notifies you and lets you decide if-or-not to install... and also it's a good idea to READ THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE UPDATES to see what they are - maybe even search them individually on the ' Net before you allow it to install.
MS has a long history of updates that fub a system patched... it's as if they don't want look us cool themes. they want that we have all the same, default * that they provide only. Shame on them.
Once again, in the end, the fix: Nations United-PATCH your sytem... get updates... and then re-PATCH. Worked for me. Touch wood...

  • Windows 8 black screen and the cursor after the connection

Hello. I tried to upgrade to 8.1 Windows 8 Windows and it is stuck on like 3% for one hour, so I just rebooted the computer and he returned to Windows 8. I'm going to sleep and come back the next day and go on my laptop and it auto connects me and it goes to a black screen and I only have the slider on the black screen after login. I don't see the start menu, but I receive notifications for as sticky keys or any other notifications lights. I turned off my computer at least 20 times, took out the battery, empty the battery and tried to boot in safe mode with no luck. It is unlikely that it is an internal problem, because if I leave my computer alone for a few minutes, my screen saver photos appear. If anyone can help me solve this problem or help me get in easier safe mode would make things less stressful. I have an Acer Aspire V5 - 571 series. Thank you.

    Hi Roy,

This problem may occur because of corrupted on the computer boot files.

I suggest you to perform the checking and automatic repair if this solves the problem.

If you do not have a DVD of Windows 8, I suggest you check out the link to see how to create an installation of Windows 8 media:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    Follow the methods suggested below:

    Method 1:

Start on the recovery environment using the installation of Windows 8 media.

    Follow the steps below:

Note: before proceeding further, make sure that the boot priority is set on DVD drive in BIOS. BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    • Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.
    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In Troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Click the automatic repair of the Advanced Options screen.
    • Then choose the operating system.
    • Windows 8 will then pick up questions on the hard drive and check that all required files are intact.

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2:

Follow these steps to perform a system restore:

    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Select System Restore.

  • iMac screen flashes black in Photoshop CC

    Hello

I am posting this as well in CC Adobe and Apple forums as I do not know where the problem lies, but I would really appreciate this problem:

I use Adobe apps on an iMac CC brand new (still in time to get the full refund). If you use Photoshop CC (2015.5) the entire screen (not only the Photoshop window) goes black for about half a second when any icon tool exceeding a certain size of pixel passes of the tool to the pointer icon icon or vice versa.

This happens for example when the icon of the fate of the area of the image on the menus or the dashboard or window, or when it comes in and out of the right click menu change brush size. Any situation when running the tool pointer or pointer tool. It does not always happen, but it happens most of the time, maybe the type of pointer movement has something to do with it, well it happens with fast or slow transitions.

The problem only occurs when the brush is superior to certain dimensions - never when it is less than the critical size. The critical size may vary depending on whether the Photoshop was opened for a while or just launched (I don't know too much about). There is also an interaction with the hardness of the tool.

    Thus, for example:

On the blur to 0% hardness tool, the screen flashes black when will top 80 pixels-never less than size. 100% hardness, it flashes from 64 pixels. Same for the Brush tool, Eraser, etc. I think it happens with any appreciable tool (don't have not tried them all).

I use a Wacom Intuos PS and the Magic Mouse from Apple. The problem occurs at the same time if they are both connected together or separately.

The problem occurs even when Photoshop is the only application running.

Please help, because it is almost unusable now.

    Specifications of the computer:

    iMac, retina 4 k, 21, 5-inch

Processor: Intel Core i5 to 3.1 GHz

    Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: Intel Pro Iris Graphics 6200 1536 MB

The Photoshop memory usage is set to default values:

    4500MB (70% of available memory)

    4 levels of cache

    Tile size 1024K cache

I just downloaded and tried the oldest version of Photoshop - CS6 - available through my driver's license and the problem is exactly the same, this is not limited to a particular version of the CC in Photoshop.

  • MacBook (2010) starts with black screen with flashing Apple logo

I recently got ahold of a Macbook Pro 2010 running very slow so I did a reinstall of the operating system (which was a living nightmare, Macintosh is not as easy to manage as it was at the time of PowerPC) once I got to the top and running, I decided to upgrade to the latest version of El Capitan (an update (not an upgrade I already had a version out there) once I rebooted and let the computer do its thing he began to start up normally, but after finishing the progress bar, he went to a black screen (with the screen still on) that flashed the boot from time to time Apple logo. I forced shut down the computer and start in safe mode with success (that's how I'm typing this post now).

    Thanks in advance.

When you reinstalled, did you remove any third-party system before reinstalling.

A Mac that runs in Mode without failure, but are generally not normally indicates some incompatible system changes.

Software common problems are things that are intended to clean, protect, optimize, accelerate, or otherwise maintain your Mac.

Anyone has a suggestion on how to fix flashing black boxes?
