My ipad is refurbished?

I'll be back an air of ipad tellus 2 months. I have a one year warranty and my ipad includes cellular data. When I showed off my ipad to friends/family, they told me the return cause it seemed authentic. I ignored them until now. My ipad just seems like it has been opened and put it back again. These signs include the front cover border is not perfectly aligned on the back cover where they meet at the edge. I can see cracks around the edge where meets the cover front and rear. These cracks around the edges are also unbalanced, i.e. a corner crack more than the other corner. In addition, my border before is white then the camera button key at home, are black color. I searched images ipad online and they are either of the black buttons with front black or white button with white blanket, mine is a mixture. And speaking of the home button, ipad sister square above symbol while mine is black. I paid the full price for the ipad and I got an ipad that looks like it was airbrushed and sold as 'new' product. If it is refurbished, can I ask them to give me another new for which I paid full price for in the first place?

It's a question you face with Tellus. Apple only uses machines refurbished for the replacement of the warranty and they are impossible to distinguish again.

  • New SIM card new iPad mini 4 offer only AT & T refurb apple

I bought an iPad mini 4 on the Apple refurb store. It came with no SIM card. I went to my local apple retail store, and you have a card SIM Apple (after assisted by about 3 people; they seemed barely even know what I was talking about). I put the card and went data cell in the settings. Under "Choose a date plan" is the only option (already checked) "AT & T - A & T - Postpaid" and under that in the fine print, it says "SIM expired." If I tap on "Add a new plan", the only option for the carrier that appears is AT & T. After reading all about the flexibility of the Apple SIM card, I am very frustrated that it does not work as advertised. I've heard talk about AT & T lock SIM card after you choose, but I never had the chance to make the choice.

  • My iPad Air is uncontrollable glitching

I bought an iPad Air in Hong Kong a year and half ago, and he recently started glitching out of control, making its use almost impossible. The last update was iOS 9.3.4. I tried to restore it, but I get a number of different error codes, including 9006. I live in Myanmar, in order to take it to the genius bar is not an option. What can I do?

    Have you tried troubleshooting?

    1. Restart: press start/stop button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and after it stops, press on On / Off button until the Apple logo appears.
    2. Reset: press the home and On / Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
    3. Restoration: connect your iPhone to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select factory restore.

Apple does not solve the iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a new or refurbished replacement depending on the age of your device and refurbished inventory. On rare occasions when there are more units refurbished for your old model, they can replace it with the next most recent model. You can take your unit to a retailer Apple for help, or you can call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple: you can make an appointment at the Apple Store - Genius Bar store and bring it into service. • Can I return my iPad?

    Hello!

    My short story:

Last year (August), I bought refurbished iPad 2 Air (#1), a couple of days later, I had to make an appointment at the Genius Bar, because in one of the corners is a screen problem (colors where dull/gray; on white canvas, I could see gray area). They gave me a brand new iPad (#2), directly from the box BUT they are brand new with plastic wrap to the box which came with a refurbished. He was allowed for a few months. During the night, something happened to the screen; He literally cracked under the glass. Like this: poof! Then I went to the Genius Bar again and they gave me another and brand new, iPad (#3). And? #3 has the same question as #1... Tomorrow I have another visit to the Genius Bar, but I'm tired of this... iPad have still warranty (like 2 weeks, counting from #1). Can I return to the contrary to get new iPad? Or at least I can get credit store or something? Someone at - it know how it works? I come from Poland, we have no stores Apple, just Premium Resellers, holds to a different font. I bought iPad here, in the United States. I'm not familiar with Apple / policies of the United States

    Benji.

    # You have only 14 days from the original purchase return, that has long since passed. Each iPad you get as a replacement will be accompanied by a guarantee of 90 days, or for the rest of the origin of the iPad, longer warranty applies. This entitles you to replacements, but not a refund.

  • Is my Apple iPad WiFi Mini unlocked the cell plant (Verizon)?

Is my Apple iPad WiFi Mini unlocked the cell plant (Verizon)? It was purchased at Apple December 2013. He is a certified refurbished by Apple

    Yes.

  • iPad Air could not turn it on. Genius Bar called a "dead unit.

Our meticulously cared for iPad Air we paid about $600 for 3 years it is abruptly stopped working last week. He was accused beautiful a day of work at 100% and would not regain power on the other.

I initially it swept and plugged back in another take and gave him more than 24 hours to recharge. It is still not responding liked when trying to power on. I followed all the instructions online for the buttons power / home - try another loader on my iMac.

Finally, I called the Apple store and make an appointment - thinking that it should be a simple solution / cheap. HA!

The employee brought to the rear to run a test on it and back 5 minutes later to tell us there is no "common" found "is a unit of the dead". He said "it's irreparable, so your options are here" (pulling up the new iPads prices). Confused, I asked ' well... What is wrong with him? The battery? We can not just difficulty it?'. He said it could be the battery, a problem with the connector - anything, but said that it would cost $300 to fix, then we might as well just buy a new. He also said "you might be able to sell it for not much online, but I don't know what the retail value is a dead unit". Great customer service.

Here, I thought that I invest in a good quality unit, shelling out the extra for 64 GB, etc. seemed worth it. Well, I can not yet wrapped my head around to be able to justify the replacement of something that can stop just "inexplicably" working on a coin, and there is nothing they can do.

This is a user to user support forum. You do not discuss Apple here. What is your technical support question? The unit is, by your admission, 3 years old, two years outside of the manufacturer's warranty. You can either buy a new iPad as engineering explained, or you can buy a similar device in the form of a replacement under warranty for a discounted new, refurbished and with a 90 day warranty. The decision that belongs to you.

  • iPad is crazy!

iPad is crazy!  I just bought an iPad refurbished from a trusted seller on

EBay, and within 2 weeks, he began to act on its own.  I contacted the seller and they graciously sent another, and in less than a week it started doing the same thing.  He just started doing things on its own, in all programs: mail, Safari, same iBooks.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem, or even that it might be?  I cleaned the screen, retired, etc. I could use my phone to save a bit of what he does, and here's a link on YouTube: https://youtu.be/qePWPOHRZrM

  • Air iPad does not illuminate

The symptom is more simply not turn on:

It happened a few times before (within two weeks) that the ipad just froze and turned the icon apple black and white background. After working in the home/power together for a while, he fixed the situation. Last night, the white background happened again and I tried both home/power buttons. But he remained in an infinite loop power. Then I went to bed. This morning I loaded for more than an hour and just, it does not turn on, not even the white background.

If I take her to the store, be something beyond? The warranty has expired, so if a part needs to be replaced, it might be expensive and I prefer to buy something new.

Have you tried to restore the device? If you do not have an appointment at the Genius Bar, they will examine and diagnose the unit free of charge. From there, they will provide you with options. They do not repair the iPads, they replace them with refurbished appliances. If the warranty has expired, the elimination of costs of replacement warranty applies. That depends on your location, but you should be able to get an idea here. Apple - Support - Service Response Center If this isn't the case in the United States, you must ensure that you change your country in the drop-down menu. If you after registration, you can always buy a new device.

  • I ordered a 3 wifi only iPad and they sent me a wifi + 3g by mistake without sim card

I ordered a refurbished iPad 3 wifi only and they sent me a wifi + 3g - mistakenly - without sim card.  This is my first experience with a tablet of any kind and so I have a few questions:

    1. is there a reason I can't return the wifi + 3 g iPad for iPad wifi only?

    2. What is the difference between an iPad only wifi and the other with wifi + 3 g without a sim card?

    3. it would be an advantage to get a SIM for iPad?

    4. what could I do with wifi + iPad 3 g WITHOUT sim card that I can't do with the wifi only?

    Thanks - TP

    1 honesty

2 WiFi + cell phone has GPS receiver and cellular material (obviously) to work with the cellular network.

    3. Yes, but you're dishonest.

    4. you can have internet access while you travel (for example: in your car, on the beach etc, where there is cellular signal coverage)

I understand it's not your fault, but you should always contact the seller and inform them of the error. If they tell you to keep, jump up and down with happiness.

  • V ME814JA/A MF074LL/A iPad B21

    Hello

I recently bought a new Mini iPad (16 GB, wifi + cell) the model number is A1490.  The reference is ME814JA.  It seems that it is a model of the iPad Mini Japanese market.  What I thought I ordered was the MF074LL/A.

Despite many searches on the internet, I don't know what are the distinct differences in the device.  My main goal is to use it on a cellular network, and I thought that I had bought a compatible AT & T device.  Now, I'm not sure.

    So a few questions:

    (1) I opened the box (which seems to be the original packaging) but do not want to reveal the iPad incase I need to send it back.  There was no SIM card in the box, so is there a SIM card inside the device?

    (2) if there is no SIM card in there, it's just an unlocked device which will take any SIM card?  Oddly, I entered the IMEI number AT & T site to find an appropriate SIM card, then when he pushed me for a postal code to activate a plan, U-verse came and I have not had no availability of the service in a zip code was based on my iPad previous Mini cell service.

    (3) what are the cellular limits of this device?  Will be the SIM card, either included or purchased (based on IMEI #) works on the standard AT & T network?

    Thanks for any help.

    Jared Spaulding

I can only answer question #1 - SIM card is always inside the SIM tray (pre-installed in the device of the iPad). I don't know anything about iPad for the Japanese market. If it is a model sold in the Apple store us, I guarantee you that it is unlocked. You can use any SIM card of nano.
