My laptop battery won't recharge, even if the laptop is plugged in!

My little brother came in my room in the morning, when I was charging my laptop Gateway and must have accidentally it unplugged when it was 70% asbout finished filling. So I left it unplugged. And then the next day, when the battery is dead, I plugged it and it lit, but when I checked the status of the battery when you hover over the battery, read state icon: 0% available plugged in, do not load. How can I make it recharge?

Looks like the battery is faulty, or the loading of equipment is defective.  Probably time to communicate with the gateway on the problem...

Unfortunately, Halo 2 does support Windows Vista and more.  Windows XP is not supported.  There may be 3 party hacks that can make it work, but they are not taken in charge and potentially dangerous.

  • Videos won't play, even after the update of multiple extensions

Then, I had this problem for a few days. I think it has to do with the most recent date of flash that I don't have this problem before and unfortunately I do not know how to undo what has been done. The video remains black, apparently regardless of what I do.

Here's what I've done so far:
    Updated the flash player plugin
    Realplayer update
Tried the safe mode, disabling modules
    Enable and disable the extensions
Removing firefox and all of its data and then put it back
I have troubleshooted compatibility and am firefox running on Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

So I don't know what to do anymore, in addition, every time I'm on the tab with the video of the loading icon little next to my mouse cursor is displayed and flashes quickly, as he desperately tries to load the video and can't find or something.

Okay, so I thought it out on mine. I had to uninstall the latest version of flash and reinstalling an old version. So I went from 11.9 to 11.8.

  • Pavilion dv4: battery does not charge even when it is plugged (load plugged says), but doesn't move 19%

    Hello hp Support Forums.

Hardware specifications of the machine (if required):

Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x 64
    CPU: Intel (r) Core i5 - 3210M @ 2.50 GHz (4 processors)
    RAM: 8192 MB RAM (4096 MB x 2) DDR3
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 @ 1 696 MB
Audio: IDT High Definition Audio 16-bit
    HARD drive: 750 GB SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 ST750LM022 HN-M750MBB

I own a laptop PC hp Pavilion dv4 laptop and this morning there was a sudden battery problem, I was playing Dota 2 and the Steam interface told me that the battery percentage was 12% (7 minutes from the end) then I moved and grabbed the chager, plugged into the outlet and plugged the charger in laptop a few seconds later the laptop turns off suddenly and won't restart, even if the charger is plugged there no light came from the load indicator.

A few minutes later do research for similar problems, there was a solution to remove the battery and the charger then press and hold power for 30 seconds and 3-5 minutes then return the battery but it did nothing.

After with some research, the indicator load on all of a sudden and when I start the laptop it was on 12 percent and billed not (there is no indicator that the charger is plugged) and turns off suddenly without warning.

Later, with a bit of panic and thought, I removed the battery and the charge light lit, which allows me to boot up the laptop and when Windows starts, I plugged it to the battery and it says: 19% (plugged in, load) so I track for a bit, but it didn't move at all, even when I changed the power of High Performance for HP recommended settings , window 19% available (plugged in, load) but it's just, it, don't move or anything like that.

EDIT: When I unplugged the charger to move my computer laptop and plugged in again, the indicator not lit and does not charge the battery thus forcing me to shut down or Hibernate, and remove the battery to the charge light.

Your battery is quite likely to be having no longer life left.

It is that if your laptop starts up without the battery, since the race, the battery test is not a viable option.

  • Satellite Pro P100 - battery fails to recharge

    Hello.

I have an old Toshiba Satellite Pro P100, a given model to nine, I got 2 years ago.
It has worked well since I got it, but I went overseas for a month and left my laptop at home.
When I got home, I found that the laptop battery is not recharging.

The battery on my desktop power indicator says 0% and requires a permanent connection to the network to work.
I looked in the manuals, they tell you that a flashing amber light means low battery, but not what to do if it does not change.
I also watched online, but they do not help either.

I want to know is if there is a way to fix my battery or if I have to buy another.

    Thanx

    Hello

It looks like a flat battery.
But check the connection of the battery first.

Remove the battery and shortly after connect again.
If this will not help then you should replace the battery and should test the laptop using the new battery.

    Welcome them

87% charged battery, won't start not computer. When power plugged in and started it shows not charging. If I remove the power cable, stop immediately.

There are several complete responses with the steps to follow, which I did. Finally a new battery of bouht and considers the motherboard bringing not at not charge. The sending of the stack of return for credit.  Will just have to use with the power supply.

  • My laptop is plugged in, but the battery won't charge

    Hello

In the last two months, capability of my laptop to charge its battery has degraded.
She went to a battery completely (100%), not being able to load beyond 98% and then 66% and 30%, and now finally, it says "0% availability (plugged in, charge)", but it never increases support.

Thus, the laptop works when plugged into the charger, but does not illuminate when it is attached only on the battery.

I rebooted the computer several times - first to stop the machine, then unplug it, remove the battery, press and hold the Start button for a minute, then put the battery back, plug the charger in and rebooting the machine.

I installed updates for "Stacks" (IE. Microsoft AC adapter, compatible ACPI Microsoft control method battery and battery Composite Microsoft) in Device Manager.
I also uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI complaint method stack and shutdown and restarted the laptop several times.

Earlier I called Toshiba support and update the BIOS of 1.50 to 1.70, then restarted the computer, but yet again, the battery won't charge.

I bought a new battery, which showed that it was fully charged when when I have attached to my laptop, but when exhausted 0% load, I got the same message as for the other battery: "0% availability (plugged in, load).

I am really puzzled. If not, how can I try to increase the capacity of my laptop battery?

In my opinion, old battery was certainly defective.
Is your new original battery, Toshiba battery or any part of third-party product?

When you start Notepad without battery and put in place when Windows is loaded does the problem persist?

  • Satellite L50 - battery recharge even if it works?

    Hello!

I'm here because I don't know where else to find an answer.

Yesterday, I changed the hinges, the plastic cover and the chassis of a L50. No problem at all.
I have reset the motherboard, disconnect the battery and keeping the start button for a minute or two.

The computer seemed fine. Then after a few hours, I realized that even if the cable is connected and windows battery icon said, connected and charging, its level kept going down, now indicates 0%.

I tried some solutions, like the motherboard reset once again, uninstall Microsoft compatible control ACPI battery but nothing worked. He always gave me 0%.

Even if the battery is less than 2 years and works perfectly well until yesterday, I tried a few tests:

-J' started the computer using cord, no problem. I then removed the cord, the laptop off almost immediately

-J' started the computer using cord, no problem. I disabled ACPI Microsoft compatible control method battery.
I removed the cord, the laptop does not shut down, he kept working.

At this point, more than a question of damaged battery, it looks like a software issue?
Should I leave the computer in charge for a day or two?

I read somewhere that when these batteries fall below a certain threshold they take forever to load.
But I think that maybe I should do this operation keeping ACPI control disabled?

    Thank you!
    Max

At this point, more than a question of damaged battery, it looks like a software issue?

If the battery is connected and the laptop without AC adapter attached, then the battery is not empty and is the office-holder. In this case, I also believe that the problem must be related to the software (compatible ACPI control method battery)

Should I leave the computer in charge for a day or two?

Why not keep the power adapter plugged in for a longer period of time, and after that try to use the laptop with the battery power.

Alternatively, you can try to uninstall compatible ACPI control method battery.
Once the compatible ACPI control method battery driver disappeared (uninstalled), click on the 'Action' menu at the top of the window and select Scan for hardware changes.
This should reinstall the removed driver...

But if it does not solve the problem of battery, keep off compatible ACPI control method battery.

This is a new computer laptop, about 10 days old.

I support 100%, power OFF (no sleep, full power off) the thing and then after one day when I turn on it back, battery is located at 95% and the computer starts to load it.

It is a rejection of 5% in 24 hours.

I thought that Li - ion cells have a self-discharge of 5% per month rate, steps per day!

Why is this happening? Is there something wrong with the laptop?

PS: I have the option disabled in the BIOS to USB charge. And nothing is connected to the computer laptop while it is happening. The laptop is off, no accesorries logged and stored in the backpack I got from HP. But still, the next day, I have 95% of battery and the computer begins to charge the battery again.
