    My laptop fujitsu has been sent for repair; the technician has restored the settings to factory default which wiped out the Professional Windows 7 operating system. My laptop has been improved by Windows Vista Edition Fujitsu Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional during a previous repair. How one don't get the product key for Windows 7 Professional in this case? Should I inform Microsoft of my laptop series No. to recover the product key of Windows 7 Professional? If so, then how do then? Thank you very much for your quick response.

    If the machine has been 'improved' during a repair - then they must have attached the relevant sticker of COA or PoL card to the machine.

    If they don't, and you do not specifically for the upgrade, then it has never been a valid upgrade.

  • Firefox has been developed for Windows 8 yet?

    I recently downloaded Firefox, but it does that in Windows 7, it has been developed for Windows 8 yet?

    Thank you

    Windows 8 and 8.1, Firefox runs as a traditional "desktop" application Mozilla is working on a version of Firefox for the latest style application, applications Windows 8 and 8.1 sometimes called modern, but the project was abandoned the year last for the reasons described in this article: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleas.../metro/.

    I do not use Windows 8 very often, but when I do, it's very confusing to have two different interfaces with various menus and toolbars for IE and different metaphors to access them. From my point of view, sticking to a single interface is probably better for users, even if it's annoying to have to go to the start page of the office. Perhaps when Windows 10 ships which would be a good time to review the evolution of the double personality of Windows.

    Hello

    You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.

    32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.

    32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

  • Cannot run the system error PrintMaster 2012 PlatinumBasic has been replaced by Windows Vista Aero in Windows Vista Basic.

    Original title: PrintMaster 2012 PlatinumBasic

    After you install the above program, I am not able to open it. I get a message saying that the color scheme has been changed from Windows Vista Aero to Windows Vista Basic. However, the program is still not open. Any ideas on what I should do?

    Hello

    1. is the issue limited to the program Print Master 2012 base Platinum?

    If you receive a message that some Visual elements, such as transparency, have been turned off or if you receive a message that the color scheme has been changed to Windows Vista Basic, one of the following might have happened:

    ·         A program that you are using is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme. When you run a program that is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme, some Visual elements are automatically disabled. When the program is not is more running, the Visual elements that have been disabled will then automatically lit.

    ·         Your computer does not have to have enough memory to run all of the programs that you have open and also run the Windows Aero color scheme. Try closing some windows or changing your color scheme to Windows Vista Basic. If Windows automatically changed your game of colors in Windows Vista Basic, and you want to change it back to Windows Aero after closing some windows, follow these steps.

    See the link below:

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Why the horizontal scope has been removed in Windows Vista?

    First of all, here is my way of explaining the horizontal range for those who want clarification that we are talking about the same thing.

    Instead of having 2 monitors configured as dual screen both with a resolution of 1680 x 1050, I mean having two monitors to horizontal configuration so the resolution is 3360 x 1050
    This allows the games full screen to use a resolution of 3360 x 1050 spanning both monitors.
    The double screen in vista is able to allow two monitors running 1680 x 1060, but when you launch a game fullscreen, it turned off 1 screen and used only your primer.
    in horizontal juxtaposition XP means that you can use a resolution full 3360 x 1050 within a set with 2 monitors side by side.

    Now me if I'm wrong, but XP is the predecessor of Vista, so WHY WHY WHY such an excellent feature wouldn't be deleted ?
    It really amazes me.

    This feature is (or will be present) in windows 7?
    If not, then I will not splash my money on your new operating system, nor I will recommend it to any of my friends who are keen players.

    Best regards, Ironthumbs

    kendall2880,
    MrIronThumbs pointed out, this feature has been removed from Vista and was not replaced in Windows 7.  There may be some third-party programs that will accomplish this.  If you want to leave a comment for Windows 7 and the application that have to be added, then click on the link below and let us know about it.  Windows 7 comments Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • My computer has been infected with "Windows Vista restore" what should I do to get rid of him?

    The fake security program Window Vista restore"scans my computer and tells me I have several hard drive errors.  It has blocked access to my computers system restore and defragment utility, appeared to 'clear' all my files (like images taxes) and I get the error pop ups telling me to turn off the computer because "hard drive failures.  When I click on cancel, x or anywhere on the box, the system stops.   When I restart, the same fake program starts begins to scan my computer again.  I tried running my Trend Antivirus scan and when the scan is about 99% complete, the fake program does not scan continue.  What should I do to get rid of him?  I'm asked to pay for an upgrade of the software, but have not entered my card number.  I'm afraid that my data has been hacked... including the loss of my photo albums.  I'm currently installing updates to windows on the computer.  Will he get rid of it?

    Hello

    do you mean Windows Recovery?

    read this:

    Windows Vista Recovery is a program of analysis and optimization of fake computer that displays false information in order to scare you into believing that there is a problem with your computer. Recovery of Windows Vista is installed via Trojan horses that display fake error messages and warnings of security on the infected computer. These messages will state that there is something wrong with the hard drive of your computer, and then suggests that you download and install a program that can solve the problem. When you click on these alerts, recovery of Windows Vista will be automatically downloaded and installed on your computer.

    Once installed, Windows Vista Recovery will be configured to start automatically when you log in to Windows. Once started, several error messages appear when you try to launch programs or delete files. Windows Vista Recovery will then prompt you to scan your computer, which will then find a variety of errors, he said, he can't fix until you purchase the program. When you use the defragmentation tool called it will specify that it should run in Mode safe and show then a background in Mode Safe false who pretended to defragment your computer. As this program is a scam do not be scared by buying the program when you see its alerts.

    Follow the removal instructions, including how to "unmask" your data

    Hi bokononist,.

    I suggest you go to your network card making and download / install the latest drivers.  I suggest that you check your system for corrupted files.  You use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files.  To do this, follow these steps:

      1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    2. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  • BITS has been remove for Windows Visa (32-Bit Version)

    I can't update, Windows Update, when I go into the Services to find PIECES, he's not here? How can I get it back?

    I checked for viruses, but can not find.

    I'll merge these threads.

    Perform a full recovery of Windows.

    1. Disconnect any external devices such as printers, USB drives and memory cards.
    2. Turn on the computer, if it's not already on and insert the first disc of recovery titled #1.
    3. After the first disc is in the drive and the drive is closed, turn off the computer by pressing the power button.
    4. Turn on the computer. The computer opens the Recovery Manager program.
    5. On the System Recovery screen, select run program from disc , and then click Next . A welcome to the Recovery Manager screen opens.
    6. In the Recovery Manager welcome screen, click Next .
    7. On the Microsoft System Restore screen, select No , and then click Next .
    8. Another System Recovery screen opens. Select Yes and then click Next .
    9. The Recovery Manager gives you the ability to back up your data files. To do this, read your backup files .
      If you do not want to save your files, select recover without backing up your files , and then click Next .
    10. Read and respond to the screens as they appear. If a screen prompts for a disk, insert the next disc. In some cases, you may need to repeatedly insert the same disc several times until the screen allows you to continue.
    11. After the system recovery is complete, the computer restarts and continues in the installation of Windows. Complete the configuration screens and wait until the computer finishes the installation program. Then turn off the computer, reconnect the devices and turn on the computer.
    12. Before using the computer, update and protect your computer. Reinstall antivirus software and security that was installed before the system recovery.
    13. Reinstall software applications which were after the purchase of the computer and all the files that have been backed up.
