  Dear reader,

  I've got an E700 liquid Acer for about 3 months now. The low volume button has suddenly stopped working. I did something strange with the phone, but I think that the problem began to appear just after I detached/seal the rear case (but I do not think that something was wrong there). The low volume button is not working for the volume, or the option screenshot. I have the latest update on the phone system and the rest of the phones buttons work fine. Do you know what is the problem and how perhaps trying to solve?

  I had these headphones for almost 2 years works very well. I don't have a bluetooth phone, but I use my HT820 with my HP Ipaq 211 listening to music or watching movies. I also connected them to my work and the home pc. At work I connected them to the phone Nortel 1150. I just had a few problems since I got to the two atria are beginning to tear. The other problem I have is with the low volume on the left hand button. The button is stuck, but I can live with that, because it is just the right volume level.   Increase the volume

  While you are online, the volume with the volume buttons. Make sure that you see the on-screen volume indicator when you press the volume buttons.

  Check the connections

  Turn off the receiver

  • Make sure that nothing is blocking the receiver, such as a case or a movie.

• Volume buttons not working not properly

  The volume buttons on my keyboard do not seem to work right. When I adjust the volume, it is assumed to be a blue bar on the bottom screen to show how much the volume increased/decreased. For some reason, it does not show. That's all just annoying because I don't know how strong my volume is without clicking on the "speaker" icon.

• Volume buttons control only the ringer volume

  On the Droid Ultra/Maxx, there are four different volumes: media, ringtones, Notifications, and alarms. And none of them are interconnected. It is extremely annoying for many reasons, the main reason being there is no easy way to lower or increase the volume of ringtone and Notifications at the same time by using the volume buttons.

  The ring volume is adjustable to the max, but the text message sound will be very quiet. Or the ring volume can be set down, but text message noise will be very strong.

  I just got the Acer Liquid Zest 4 G. I think it's a pretty awesome phone, except one thing. The smaller volume of media is still much too strong for me. For example, making it impossible for me to watch a video in the night without waking up everyone in the House.

  I tried to lower the volume with the 'Thin Volume Controll V2' app. That works a little, I'm able to lower the media far (the default lowest setting media volume I can adjust with my volume buttons is 49% according to this app.). But I can't change the volume a bit when I'm in the middle of the video without opening this app together again.

  Is there a way I can adjust the volume of minium I can change too with the volume buttons? Or any chance Acer goes to get out an update will fix this?

  I changed the values, so I'm not naked by default. But playing a mp3 and set values is for you the best.

  I had problems with my HP keyboard volume buttons recently. I've updated my audio drivers after the sound on my computer has completely stopped working. HP support suggested the update of the driver, and since then, the volume keys don't work unless I click on the speaker icon in the system tray in the lower right corner of my screen (taskbar).

  After clicking on the icon, the volume buttons Up and Down works for about 20 minutes. I have to repeat the process each time I want to change the volume ot. Mute the function works fine, but the other two do not.

  I searched the forums and found similar problems, but they have been with laptops and didn't feel uncomfortable using these solutions for my office and may do more harm than good. Help, please. Thank you!

  Install the original multimedia keyboard driver to see if that returns your keyboard multimedia features.

  If this isn't the case, then the keyboard can have its own number.

• Issues of volume button?

  My pre works great since day 1.

  Out of nowhere yesterday, my volume up button stopped responding, low volume works fine.

  Has executed an interactive test for the physical buttons and confirmed that nothing happens when I hit volume up.

  I tried to restart the machine a few times, no change.

  So... any suggestions short to replace?

  It wouldn't if wrong given that the volume of the ringtone/alert is controlled in preferences, but now I have no way to increase the volume of media if I accidentally put it down.

  Checked ifixit.com and examined their step to remove the knob volume and the prompty he jumped off with a PIN after removing the back cover.

  It turns out that the little orange piece made a conductive circle with a bump on it, that's what the button depressed to make the connection to the card.

  One for the volume key became dethroned, so no connection was made.

  Messed with it for a while until I got a solid connection, slapped the volume controller on and I'm good (for now).

  Has anyone else noticed that the the lower volume for listening to music with headphones is not low enough?  I want the possibility of lowering one or two steps more silent, but it does go OFF from the level low.

  I was hoping that the main volume control was a master, but it seems to be the exact same as the command buttons on the side.  The main volume is back completely to the left (less a step).  I don't have any headphones with their own volume setting thus at the mercy of the BB controls (whether on the coast or on the screen).

  It is my understanding that you experience low volume from your iPhone using a headset.  It is certainly not expected behavior.

  Looks like you have already made a good troubleshooting.  The next thing I would do is try another headset and see if the results are the same.  As obvious as it may seem, remember that the headphone is plugged all the way to the iPhone.  Don't forget to turn up the volume while you are actually on a call.  When not online, the volume allows you to control the music, alerts and other sounds on the iPhone, but not the volume of calls.
