My moms account became a temporary account and that she cannot access her normal files.

Yesterday, she tried to log into his account. She got this message saying that it was a temporary account and she can't access her files. I can still access my account, but my mother can't. We run XP 64 - bit SP2.

The symptoms you describe are typical of a corrupt user profile.  It is not too difficult to recover from.  Choose one of the following approaches:

Corrupted user profiles are almost always accompanied, if not caused, the corruption of system files.  After recovery, it is advisable to perform a check disk (chkdsk) with the options/r or/f.  Sometimes it will even recover a profile corrupted itself.

Hope this helps,
