my passport do not backup

Passport for Mac is connected to the USB port on the MacBook Pro Yosemite. Appears on the desktop. Can open and view previous backups, but it does not save. Worked last month. At first did not see the same on the desktop but restarted and am now in this situation.

30 minutes later - after three attempts to eject and start it finally works - no idea why it can happen?

It is a Time Machine backup?

Check your  > system preferences > Time Machine > options

and make the appropriate changes:

Since the Time Machine icon you can also open TM to monitor the progress or treatment before a backup begins.

The failure of the iPhone to backup can be for a variety of reasons. Since I don't know where you stand and dates are treated differently in different regions, I will ask if you are referring to July 1, 2016 for the date? If so, she finished a backup since then?

  • iPhone does not backup on iCloud despite the library on

My iPhone is not backup, despite the option is on. He used to work very well with my iPhone 6 and Macboo pro. Now when I get the pictures on my laptop I don't see the new photos.

Please check that your device is correctly connected to the wireless internet (settings > wifi) and is plugged into a power source, check also that you have enough space in iCloud for your back upward.

You can check the space available in settings > iCloud > storage and the space needed for the next backup to the settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage > backups > appliance > Back Up Options > next backup size (wait for the spinning until the gear icon).

Assuming that you are eligible for iCloud upward, you should try a forced first stop, hold down the buttons side in top and home together until the unit stops, then restart by pressing the side/up button.

Then, try to connect the device to a new location (different WiFi network)

If your backup continues to fail, you can try to disable the backup on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > backup), reboot the device and then turn on BackUp on new.

If this help not disable backup again, remove your existing back to the top of settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage > backup > this device (scroll down) > delete backup, restart the device and then turn on BackUp.

If you are unable to make a return to the top, try to connect on iCloud (settings > iCloud (scroll down) > Sign Out (you will need to enter your password at this point), restart the device and sign in iCloud to settings > iCloud.)

The next thing to try would be to restore your network settings. (Settings > general > reset > reset network settings)

Reset your network settings will erase your cell phones and wireless network settings, including saved networks, passwords for wifi and VPN settings, that you can use. It will affect to the Internet but will not be an impact on telephone services because these settings are automatically configured by your carrier. It may take a few moments to enter again all your network settings, but it shouldn't cause you any major problems. If you are comfortable re - enter your network settings, you can try this step earlier in the troubleshooting procedure, i.e. after the forced shutdown suggested above.

If this does not help, try to disable some elements for the back upward in a model to try to establish if your problem is caused by specific data on your device. You can do with settings > iCloud > storage > storage management > backup > appliance > Back Up Options.

If you are still not able to perform a backup from iCloud, you can try to restore your phone which you should do by making an iTunes backup via your computer and restore from that.

Be able to go back to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you have access to a computer or rarely have access to one, however unless you need specifically to use iCloud to go back, you'll find a backup on iTunes much more convenient and possibly more reliable. However if you save up to iTunes be sure to encrypt the back upward if you want to keep your data on health and passwords etc.

When you explicitly specify a FORMAT in the BACKUP command as

    allocate channels c1 device type disk format "+ RECO_EXP/%U";

you write the assessment, but in a directory that is "similar" to the FRA. According to Oracle is concerned, the backup does NOT go to the recovery area.
Do NOT use a FORMAT if you wish as backups to be written to the FRA.

  • WD My Passport do not mount to Airport Extreme

    OS 10.7.5

WD My Passport format (500 GB): (scope, journaled)

    Airport extreme version: 7.7.3

My Passport works fine on my MacBook Pro, but when I plug in the AE, it's white light just flashes. (I restarted AE and MacBook, in the same sense) and it does not appear in my Airport utility >, to all drives.

I think I've narrowed the problem to the bottom for USB of EI do not provide enough power for My Passport because My Passport, it's not having a dedicated power supply.

If that were the case, how can I fix it? Get a USB hub can fix this? I have 250GB of family memories, I want just accessible to all in the House. I'm kicking myself to not check on AE before dumping / backup our computers on it. DOH!

    Thank you

    D.

I think you have 2 options,

    1. a hub powered

    2. a cable like the one shown here: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41GhB4la9wL._SY355_.jpg used with a standard AC adapter USB.

  • BlackBerry BB passport do not import emails using the Devicde of Bold 9900 switch

I tried using the switch of the device several times to transfer all the data from BB9900 for the new Passport SE

I created all the e-mail accounts & passwords on the Passport exactly the same as on BB9900

I upgraded to the latest version of the software on Passport SE

I followed the instructions for the control unit switch, it makes his work and said everything is done.

All I get on the passport of BB is like my contacts, notes, texts, calendar etc.

What I don't understand is all my emails stored on BB9900

I tried to go back and manually restore from the backup file created during the switch of the device, when I click on restore to custom, there is no option to import e-mails here at all.

One thing that is strange, in the hub when I click on it to "mark prior reading", he tells me to 1200 + emails will be marked as read so it seems that the old emails are there (I have almost as many new emails on the Passport), but they are not displayed.

Bottom line, how to import the EMAILS ONLY from a device BB7 to Passport?

  • My 6s will not backup iCloud or my computer

My iPhone 6s has not been properly synchronized since July 12.  I connected to the power and wifi connected every night.  Today I hooked it up the the computer and 3 different times, he would start through synchronization, and after a few minutes, I get the following message "iTunes could not saved"xx 6 s"iPhone because iPhone is disconnected.»

I sat and looked at the phone because it has shown 100% load and display the icon of load current.  If I unplugged and started again, I got the same results.  I then tried to sync my office thinking that I might have to restore it.  Same thing happened.  Is there a way to force the backup?  I tried several USB connectors, so I don't see how this could be the problem, or it would not always display the power icon.

  • Can not backup iPhone 5 or connect to cell phone applications

I've just updated to 9.3.1 9.2, thinking that Apple had solved all the problems reported with 9.3.  However, now my phone is not connecting to cellular telephone applications, siri does not work, and the phone will not save.  It works fine when connected to wifi, but once I leave the House, none of my apps won't work (letters of google maps, Facebook, apple, anything that requires cell, that's all!)  I made all the simple fixes that I have known and that you can find on the internet: restart button apple button and power off to restart, turn off cell phone and turn it back on, turn off wifi and turn it back on, reset the network, iCloud is disconnected settings and reconnect, deleted all my photos/reset the backup settings so there is a lot of storage on my cloud , is found on my head, turned left, and none of it worked.  I'm ready to reset all but without a backup, I'm afraid to lose all my contacts.  Anyway around this?

Does anyone else have this problem?  Suggestions and help that I have already mentioned above is welcome.  Thank you. Unhappy in Portland and the thought of Samsung is in my future.
