  Extended and standard are the same code - you do not have to uninstall or reinstall.  The only difference is the serial number.

  Everything you have to do is turn off your standard copy (remove the serial number), then reactive with serial number for extended.

  I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended on an Asus laptop with Windows 7, 4 GB RAM (3.61 GB usable), 64-bit operating system and 56.4 GB free on drive C.  I managed to install this program using this drive on my previous laptop, who recently came at the end of his days, so I don't have a reason to suspect that the disc is damaged.

  The only difference between the normal and student/teacher is normally in the license, not the software.  Make sure that you try to use the serial number on the version correct appointed suite.

• Download Photoshop CS5 Extended, corrupted file?

  I have photoshop CS5 extended. I bought a new computer and want to download to my new computer. The file on the download page for Adobe seems to be corrupted. While it downloads, it does not install.

  What is the operating system of your new computer? 10 Windows and OS X 10.11 have been known to cause problems with older software like CS5. OS X 10.11 El Capitan, in particular can encourage error messages misleading because of its default security settings. To work around this, go to the security in the Apple menu, and on the Security tab and general privacy, change the rocker "Anywhere". When you are finished installing Gatekeeper, reset your preferred 'egi' setting.
