  I have a HP eStation 510a and the detachable tablet will not stay long enough to do something with it. As soon as it turns on it immediately turns off and then turns back on. I followed the steps to do a factory reset on it and successfully completed, but it still does the same thing. The printer itself works fine, it's just the tablet which is defective.

  I am running windows 7 sp1 and when the computer is turn on/off the light on the receiver is on, but as soon as windows has finished starting it shuts off and I have to unplug then plug it in again.

  I checked the power for all devices in Device Manager and unchecked the "allow computer to power off" and suspend power advanced USB options but neither have worked.

  I will be grateful for any suggestion.
