My printer asks for a password. Where do I get it?

If that makes some time that you had setup your wireless network and you bought a new printer, you remember what this password.  For security, some have not written down.

The print and scan doctor can recover the password as long as it is used on a computer on the wireless network.

The document includes the steps and how a video for this specific function of the tool.

Essentially, you will find that these steps is that must happen for the password:

1. download the tool from the link above.

2. When you run the tool, you will get this screen:

3. click on help > show info ahead as shown here:

4. click on view wireless bottom Info:

5. the information of wireless network, including the password (password, network key) will be on top:

It's just a small feature of the tool.

I hope this information is useful to someone.

I have remove the device from the computer of windows 8, restart and add the printer before it will let me print. But today, it will not work. I need help.

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft community forum. Let me help you with your concern.

    • The computers are connected to a domain?

    • You get the error message?

When you try to print to a network printer that requires identification of trusted information, or when you try to view the properties of the network printer, the following error message may appear: Access Denied.

In addition, you may not be able to save a password for the network printer after have connected you to the printer.

This problem may occur if you do not select the Save password check box when you connect first to the printer on a network that uses approved connections.

Run the printer utility. A convenience store is an automated tool that can find and automatically fix problems with your PC. ThePrinting Troubleshooter can solve the problems with the installation and connection to a printer.

To resolve this issue, remove and then reinstall the printer via device and printers. When you first connect to the printer reinstalled and must enter credentials, click to select the Save password check box.

  • When you try to restore my iPod nano 7th generation what it asks for a password how to find / get around it?

MY 7th generation nano has his music to wipe and start again.  I tried to restore it in the air several times because it won't let me not in reason to ask for a password to allow this. the password is not my iTunes password. can anyone help? I use an iMac.

Once the iPod appears in iTunes, it shouldn't be a problem with a password for an iPod nano 7th generation.  If you see a window pop up asking for a password, I think that it is a request for authorization from the Mac OS.  It is not directly related to the iPod or iTunes.  He asks your password for the account of the user admin (for Mac), as when you install the new software.

Do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Site preferences".

Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

  • Mail does not ask for new password after change

I had to change the password for my email account based on Yahoo (sbcglobal dot) net because the hack/spam. It's the second time in 6 months, and I'm having the same problem that took place the last time. After changing the password through webmail interface for the account and which confirms that change has gone through by a disconnection and return again on webmail with the new password, I estimated that the Mail on my MacBook Air (OSX 10.11.4) app so the Mail on my 5 c iPhone iOS app are still happier never to communicate with Yahoo Server , sending and receiving mail, despite never forces me to put the new password.

This is obviously less annoying than the problem where Mail asks password constantly, it should not all too obviously work in this way. If one of these devices were lost or stolen, I know now that I could not get this email account by changing the password. Apple support tell me that deleting and then reinstalling the account in Mail should solve this problem, but *? I won't be able to do if a device is never lost/stolen. Something is clearly abnormal in the way Mail communicates with this Yahoo Server and Apple needs to fix this on their end!

OK, I'm a monumental fool, apparently, but so are at least half a dozen Apple Support "geniuses."

I have iCloud active keychain. Therefore, this behavior is expected. Keychain passes the new password information to both the MacBook and the iPhone instantly after that I changed it on the MacBook via the webmail interface. No Mail app should ask for the password, because they already have through keychain.

So I feel very stupid, but then again I am not a geek, and I'm not paid to know these things. What is their excuse? Why zero agents Support of Apple knew it was happening, or think to ask about it? Why was their first step to remove, then reconnect the account, which took me less than an hour from the last time I did, apparently unnecessarily? Honestly, one wonders if anyone knows how to do their job more.

    Hello

If you have another administrator account, you can log in with that account and change the password of the account where you have forgotten the password.

If you do not have another administrator account, you can use a password reset disk, if you have created a.

If you do not have one of these options, your best solution is to take the computer to a local computer repair shop and ask them to retrieve the password for you.
