  I didn't uninstall the audio drivers junky, I had, then installed Realteks audio drivers instead.

  Maybe it's a hardware problem, but it is always worth trying the following.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  I have laptop asus x53e sx1444v with Wi - Fi card inside. It was running Windows 7 Home Premium, but something was wrong with the system, so I reinstalled it completely.
