To get the orange FF tab, go to view > toolbars > menu bar. This should uncheck the menu bar giving you the orange button.

Panorama is a box made of 4 gray rectangles which should be on the far right, if not once you activate the orange FF tab, right click anywhere on a toolbar that doesn't has nothing to this topic, and you should get a menu with a list of your toolbars that you can check and uncheck the box. Come on down to personalize everything down and it will open a window with all your buttons. Find groups of panorama/tab button and drag it to the toolbar of your choice.

to pin a tab as an app, right-click on it; It is an option in the context menu.

  • My MacBook Air screen looks like "safe mode".

I ran diagnostics & everything checked. I've upgraded to the latest operating system. The display still looks like crap. Can it be some setting? I'm not a geek (but I gave birth to a few) so I would appreciate some advice on where he can blame. OH and I just upgraded to el Capitan, hoping to get rid of some malicious software, but it's still there. Can this be the problem, I first have to solve?

I would get rid of the malware in the first place, because in general it is very annoying to have on your computer (I guess you get all sorts of pop-up windows or your computer is idle). It is also possible that it influences of various parameters, display for example settings. What is the malicious program, you've found? Have you tried to run Malwarebytes to remove it?

You can get Malwarebytes here (it's free): https://www.malwarebytes.com/antimalware/mac/

If Malwarebytes doesn't help, don't worry, you can always remove it, it just means that you need to find the files to remove yourself. Tell us what malicious software you have and we will help you.

With respect to the screen, I would try a different screen resolutions. When you go into the system, display preferences, you should be able to select a resolution. I recommend reading this article: http://www.imore.com/how-change-display-settings-your-mac

Just to make sure, you use only the display which is part of the Macbook or you use one or more external displays?

  • Qosmio F10: Monitor screen looks like a photo of Andy Warhol

I currently have problems with my screen resembling a picture of Andy Warhol. I resorted to pass through the product Recovery DVD-ROM for my laptop Qosmio F10/G10 in the hope that it back to the factory would solve the problem but it didn't.

The screen falls down after the Windows Welcome screen, leaving me with my office all Andy Warhol as (i.e., blocks of colors pixelated on the edges of the graphics). I tried to reset the resolution which has solved the problem to an almost acceptable level, but on a temporary basis, because the problem reappears again when I re - start the laptop.

I think it's something to do with the Windows Multimedia operating system that came preinstalled on my computer (so no recovery disc). The reasoning behind this assumption is that I put a DVD movie in the media which is part of Windows XP and the film is a video of Andy Warhol.

I put the same DVD in the WinDVD which came as a content of Toshiba and the DVD is perfect! My reasoning is that if there was something wrong with the hardware of the laptop, then DVD playback all programs would react in the same way, but as they do not, there are programming (or operating system problem).

I'm on the right track? Is there a way to solve the problem via a downloadable file?

    Hello

The comparison with the image of Andy Warhol's very funny ;)
However, I recommend you first connect the laptop to the external monitor to check if the same images will appear on the second monitor and run the DVD with Media Center.

I don't know if it has something to do with the BONES of Mr. for me, it looks like a malfunction of the graphics card, but this is only a suggestion.

  • Widgets on the screen look really great

My widgets on the screen such as shortcuts to turn bluetooth and WiFi and off look really great?

It doesn't seem to be a way to cut them down a little?

Almost looks like the ar of policies High Representative.

Anyone know if we can narrow them down some?

There is no way retractable fonts or icons. Some widgets can be resized - weather, news, calendar can be set to 1 row 4 columns or 2 x 3 (some examples).

If you want more control over the police and the icon size, you may need to use a 3rd party launcher like ADW EX (EX is the paid version and allows the resizing of icons). I used ADW EX on the Atrix, until the GB is out.

Part of what you see, is just a product of the largest screen - and Android is essentially 4 columns and 4 rows on the screen to fix things.

Personally, I like it - but I know that some people like the tiny icons. Remind in mind that, even if you did half the size icons/shortcuts, you would still only 4 across and 4 down. Other pitchers allow you to do more – I think that 5 x 5

  • Yoga 13 screen - Bios side black

I had problems with the dreaded "black screen" when starting my Yoga13 (but only somethimes!). To try to limit, as there seems to be so many things that can cause this, I went into the Bios settings "F2" and configure it upward to request a password "Lit" before starting windows.

What I've discovered, is that when product black screen its FRONT the Bios asks the initial password "Power on", IE I do not see the box for the password and if Windows has NOT yet begun to load. To remedy this, I just press the power button to turn off the system, wait 20 seconds and then it will usually start.

Once past that, no errors always occur on the side of windows.

Any suggestions on what I could try to fix this?

Quick update to close this thread.

The Yoga13 eventually returned to Lenovo who couldn't get a new screen that was apparently necessary. Ended up having to get a refund, then bought Yoga 2 Pro. Discussions on this forum helped me to get all this work. Touch Wood (!), really happy so far

  • ADJUST THE SIZE OF THE SCREEN LOOKS A

Currently, my display screen is not in line with the size of the computer screen. There is an inch of black on each side of the display area. Using the browser to stretch the screen does not work.

This could be a hardware problem (e.g., your monitor may not be completed its display area).

Try to use the controls of your monitor to expand the display area.

  • Computer crashes, screen looks like broad 'pixels '.

    Hello

My Compaq SG3-250SC crashes after 15-60 minutes. The image on the screen can be seen, but very vague, it contains a lot of "pixels", 5mm wide. The only way to stop it is to turn on the computer with the button.

If I opened the computer and put a big fan in front of her, everything works normally. A heat problem? The fans on the power supply and CPU are running.

I tried with another graphics card, but with the same result.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

If the fan can help, it's a thermal problem.  I look to see if the heat sink on the video chip is still in place.  Sometimes the clips on the motherboard pull right out of the Commission on certain motherboards.  I don't know whether or not your motherboard has this type of accurate information.  Push down on the heat sink for the best contact, sometimes the compound dries and separates the radiator surface.  You will need to remove the radiator and put new thermal past on the video chip.
