My security information of win 8 are related to an abandoned e-mail address, and when I get to the page "call us overprotective...» ", I can't verify my identity. This means that I can't to my email on outlook.com, and in September, I will have to go through this all-new.
How will I receive via the process when the address of only checking that Microsoft seems to have is one I got like 18 years agoand is long gone?

Someone at - it suggestions on how I can filter for a group of e-mail addresses containing one of these characters?
Update: open a folder with support - special characters * and? are not allowed in the domain of the email address part. That's what is validated during creation.
It is also not really any EASY way to get those email addresses that contain these characters - I can create filters that will shoot only so many email addresses and then filter through Excel. This is going to be painful because I have several million in our database. I may be able to get many of them through other criteria (lack of activity, rebounds, etc.), so I'll probably wait on them.

It is said in support of the pages that the option ' Privacy > don't remember history ' is equivalent to private browsing.
He said also that after you activate private browsing does not store history or passwords. So how are related options: "confidentiality > don't remember history ', ' confidentiality > settings customized user > permanent private browsing ' and ' security > remember passwords?
(1) if I activate "Privacy > don't remember history" fact it also means that the passwords are not stored?
(2) activate instead
"Privacy > settings customized user > permanent private browsing."
This still implies that passwords are not stored?3 If 1) or (2) are together, what is the role of the apparently independent option "security > remember passwords?
I'm sorry but the logic of the user interface is not really clear for me
Thanks for your help.
1. Yes. Setting "Firefox will: don't remember history ' prompts you to restart Firefox, after which 'always use private browsing mode' will be checked. The option "Remember passwords for sites" will be disabled and unavailable (grayed out).
2. Yes. It's the same thing.
3. as I said, in this case the option "Remember passwords for sites" would be unavailable (grayed out). The rest of the time, this option allows to disable the registration of passwords not in private browsing mode.

So, this is what happened:
I accidentally threw my wife laptop screen and I bought her a new. The laptop seems to be OK, but I couldn't see anything because of the broken screen.I bought a pen, took out the old HDD (Vista) and connect it to the speaker. Now I'm going through old files from my wife from the old HDD (Vista) on his new laptop (Win 7), but I can't access it.So I did a little web browsing and tried the following.Logged as administrator, open properties, Security tab, advanced, button tab owner, edit, changed ownership to myself (my wife) and verified replace the owner in the box of submarines. And then find a lot of mistakes. Everyone says ' an error has occurred applying security information to:Among these errors, half of 'em had "the system cannot find the file specified" and the other half had "access denied."In the end, there is a separate error that says: "unable to set new owner (folder). The system cannot find the specified file. »I would really appreciate the help.Hello
Did you change your computer?
I suggest that you first take ownership of the drive once you connect to the computer and check if it works.
To take ownership of a folder
(a) right click on the folder you want to take control and then click Properties.
(b) click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.
(c) click on edit. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
(d) click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.
(e) If you want that person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the check box replace the owner of sub containers and objects .
(f) click OK.
I suggest you follow the links and check out them.

I use a couple of computers with XP and Windows 7. Using the Internet Explorer browser. I don't want to download another program to clean or to make it safer. Security programs are touted on the web saying items that are supposedly deleted are always truly accessible. Where one looks for them and how to get rid of them?
Examples:
1. credit card is in a file on your desktop. Send to trash and then go and delete it. Is it zapped for good?
2 can secure information sitting somewhere in Internet Explorer? A purchase online. All what?
3 remove a file from the yahoo mail bin. Is it gone forever?
On and so forth! I'm sure I have just come from a few areas of danger. Where are you looking at and how do you zap it?
Thank you.
Thank you. But I don't want to erase my hard drive.
I did not indicate that you clean your hard drive. Ah... I see where, if they did not bother to go beyond the cover/title, might think that...
I gave you options (pointing out you would have to use some third-party utilities and I even reported a utility built into Windows 7) allowed to erase safely files/folders - and encryption of a hard drive not necessarily require wiping your hard drive either.
You can read the web page of the utility of Windows 7 that I linked to... Often somethings title can be misleading: it is the content of the actual article you want to read.
Quoting the article:
The command is simply cipher /w x:\folder where you would substitute x:\folder for the location desired, wiped, for example your drive D:\ or in your C:\Users\Mike Halsey\Music folder.
So, as you can see, you could erase safely on a folder on your system - no need to clean the entire disk.
Perhaps, by doing your research for you, I came across something that will make things clearer, even the title is less extreme:
How to use Cipher.exe to overwrite deleted in Windows
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315672This is an article over which shows the person who wrote the other article was not only bad to come with descriptive titles, but to make the hypothesis of the tool had simply added the command/w command-line option, was also wrong on how long this particular function of the utility could rely.
It is many more items that I found for you based on the information that I gave you already (Google works wonders) and maybe one of them will better explain the use of the CIPHER command to erase data securely...

I hope that you now understand the suggestion of ENCRYPTION and can be used to do what you want to do (although I'm not positive that it would work better than many small tools third available like eraser to erase the eraser.heidi.ie or portable PortableApps.comversion.)
I would add that Richard g. Harper was not completely far-fetched. Many places clears their readers like this or with even more damage than that. I work in a place where the player must actually be melted to slag or he is still considered a security risk. Some use things like this , or like this... Although I have taken your question as you were simply eager to erase files on your drive hard work, not the entire disk and all data that it contained so that no one could get it back AFTER you have been made.
Good luck to you!

Code error WinDef 8050800c and system restore Error 80070002 are related
Hi all
During the last weeks of twoo many discussion happened for WinDef - and MSE-error 8050800c. The problem known inside this WInDef cannot scan or update at required intervals, created havoc and thousands of users are complaining about and at the same time try to find a solution.
I am one of those users. The question is not only that MS has not come up with a fix, but also this WinDef exhibits strange behavior. Strange in a sense that one day working and the other is not.
At the same time, people started having problems with the system restore in Vista, where everything is working correctly, except for the fact that the system will be back on the date indicated, coming with a notification "unknown error" and an error code 80070002.
I am one of those users too. Looking around the solutions both almost simultaneously and recent issues that hit my pc, I found that the solutions proposed by the MS people are circling around the keys to register ProfileImage.
These questions are treated as separate issues, I think they are related. For example, in this forum, regarding the error of WinDef a solution has been proposed recently around the ProfileImage.
But a similar thing has been proposed by MS team, study the problems of SR points.
Please see these links.
WinDef: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msescan/thread/a5810b32-5470-46aa-8be4-634f06064131
System Restore/backup: http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/archive/2008/03/12/common-causes-and-solutions-to-backup-system-restore-and-complete-pc-backup-problems-updated.aspx
I appreciate your point of view and a possible solution to these two problems please. Note that I already checked my ProfileImage values. Well, all are created, except for a key that is where it seems completely empty.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hello
Thanks for the information; your efforts are very much appreciated.
This happens when the Windows Vista Restore Wizard cannot access the files due to access denied or restore points missing or damaged.
To restore the computer to a previous state, make sure that there are no corrupt restore points and backup Windows and Volume shadow copy services are also running.
Connect to the computer as an administrator and follow these steps.
1. start Windows Backup and Volume Shadow Copy services.
a. Click Start, type services.msc and press to enter.
b. search for Windows Backup and Volume Shadow Copy services and start them.
2 start the computer in safe mode and open the system restore and check the result.
Safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-modeI hope this helps.

Repay the help update security information
I had to buy a new copy of Windows 8 Pro. So, I used the laptop settings interface to buy it and he informed me that the prosecution had not and that I should re - enter my billing information and try again; I did it, same result. Not wanting to not charged again and again, I checked my online checking history and concluded that there are two charges $ 200 on my account.
I went to the Microsoft customer service to remedy that, but found that I was due for an update of the information of access security. My email address was outdated, and now, Microsoft doesn't let me access my information from billing until 15 October, there is not even a phone number that I see that they'll call until they are "ready for me." Quite lost here.

Published by: user10647455 on January 14, 2009 14:04Change your code to:
...
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE STR WITH THE HELP OF V_ERR_CODE, V_ERR_DESC;
...Explanation:
Dynamic SQL bind variables using variable names.
in your case
STR: = "INSERT INTO P_1 (A, B, C) VALUES (c1_rec.cc_no,: V_ERR_CODE,: V_ERR_DESC)";
does not say that the variables: V_ERR_CODE,: V_ERR_DESC are automatically linked.
In dynamic SQL variable binding is done using the syntax 'USE '.Look at:
