  I bought the teacher edition and student of CS5 for Mac in November 2010. I bought a new Mac and put the software on my new computer. InDesign, Illustrator, bridge, and Acrobat will open it (and good work to the best of my knowledge). However, Photoshop gives me an error message and does not open:

  In the near future, I want to upgrade CS5 to CS6. But for now, I wish I could use Photoshop I have. I looked in my Plans and products on my Adobe account and the product is. But it's not a download to re-download it. And honestly, I don't remember if I was a physical download or digital download when I initially put the software on my original Mac.

  Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

  PS - also, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash Catalyst, and Flash are all in my Applications folder. But I think they're just there because I did a try before you buy CS5 Adobe. Would this be the case? When I try to open applications, a box will appear asking for a serial number or an option to start using these applications on an experimental basis. I tried to put my purchase of CS5 serial number just in case it was accurate, and he says that's not a correct serial number.   The same reason that it is probably no command to remove all layers. You must write your own function if you want to do than IE:

  Exactly as indicated by our MVP, compatibility issues hit blindly and it is not very rare that one of your apps (PS) works in this case well and I is not. Suggest you to upgrade.

  CS5 is quite old and does not test on 10.11. Sometimes the upgrade interrupts the installation of CS5.  First of all make sure that you are upgraded to 10.11.1

  Uninstall, run the cleanup tool use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems and reinstall.

  I don't know exactly why it crashes, but the crash is in your NVidia OpenGL driver.

  You can try to disable OpenGL drawing in Photoshop at the moment.

  But you should check for updated drivers and possibly contact NVidia if they haven't fixed the bug yet.
