  I'm working on a connected application of bbm in which I'm trying to create a session between users of bbm and sharing data among them through the session.

  I'm using bbm dev guide to create a session:

  In the method of broadcastDataReceived of MySessionListener, I just try to show a dialog box:

  I am running my app in bbm simulators. They can communicate with each other, send/receive bbm messages, etc...
  Session creation works well. When User1 send a session invitation to User2, user2 Gets the invitation and accept it.

  Now when I try to broadcastData (from user1 and user2), nothing happens. Here is my code:

  What Miss me? I searched the forum and find some kind of a solution to my problem: define a listener mail service. But I can't understand how to do this in the dev guide...

  I looked at the examples of the bbm and the sdk tic tac toe gave me the solution.
  In BBMBridgeImpl.java, a new MessagingServiceListener is created to establish a MessagingService link and channel. I think it is so that we catch the broadcasting datas sent via a session (or channel).

  Below, an explanation of my problem and my workaround:

  A connection ensures the communication between multiple instances of the application that can be set, public or private.

  According to BBM, to create a connection, you must create a listener of the connection and the messaging service allows you to set the listener and retrieve a connection, as follows:

  MessagingService messagingService = platformContext.getMessagingService (); BBMPlatformSession session = messagingService.createSession (new MySessionListener()); / * BBMPlatformSession and BBMPlatformChannel are BBMPlatformConnection childs as their respective listener share the same relationship.*.

  The issue with the example above, it's that the connection is not useful because the connection or the connection listener is related to the mail service. And that's because the mail service will attempt to use the connection returned by voicemail service listener, which is not the same connection created above.

  Workaround

   

  Create a listener mail service for the created connection and recipient of the connection, as follows:

  (1) BBM invitation QR code content looks like this:

  Where xxxxxxxx is the pin (it is repeated at the end) and yyyyyyyy is a unknown alphanumeric combination.

  You may draw the attention of the user to open the QR Code Scanner based on the "bbm:" and "bbg:" at the beginning of the string.  Unfortunately it isn't really a better way to handle this today.

  Your tablet doesn't have a GPS inside, and the authors of the applications you mentioned said the store Play to allow only the program go to devices with this chip.

  There is a solution called 'APK Extraction' or 'side loading' app.

  Extraction of the APK is not officially approved by HP. If an application is not available in a specific area which is a restriction that the developer has put on the application. Such a restriction could be due to the licensing of content.

  There are two main steps in order to extract the APK-

  (1) extract the application of another Android device, or download the APK file directly. If you download the APK file also, please be very confident of the Web site. Because you will be "forcing" the application to install and don't not download through Google, it is possible the application has been infected by malware or otherwise damaged.

  To perform step 1, first install the application on another Android device, and also to install an "APK Extractor" application. (there are several to choose from and available for free in the game of Google store).
  Once the application is extracted, copy the file to a MicroSD card, or use another means of transfer for example transfer or by e-mail.

  Insert the MicroSD card into your 7 Slate, or download the file.
  You may need to install a file browser to locate the file on your tab 7. These are also available in the store from game Google free.

  You must change a setting of security on your tab 7; Click settings, security and place a check in "unknown Sources allow installation of applications from unknown sources. You will get a warning about the potential of malicious software by changing this setting.
