  Hello chilli.willi, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration.   You happen to have Whatsapp on your device? If so, its last update caused several questions on the iPhones of the peoples. Delete the app and reset the phone in now the home and sleep/wake set buttons until you see the Apple journal and then release. Make sure you check in your conversations. Do not install Whatsapp again until they release a fix.

  1. What is the number of brand and model of your system and graphics card?

  2 did you a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

  This error can be caused by an application, including any old games you have installed on your system.

  Because you tried to reinstall the drivers for video card, you can try to perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

  A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
