    Hi Adam,.

What happened in the meantime over the past two days, is that I was load and charge the battery for 3 - 4 times and it seems it's OK now. As I type now the battery is charging and the CPU is about 30 to 40%, which is reasonable.

    Hope it stays like that.

Thanks for your attention and your help.

  • Procedure recommended to new battery

What is the recommended procedure to load a new battery for the first time?

    Hello

I think that there is no official procedure to recommend, but my personal opinion is that when you use the battery the first time you need to charge it completely to 100%. After that I discharge the battery and charge it again compleltly. After that the battery must have full capacity.

In addition, I found an interesting article on the advice of the battery:

I m not an expert but I have 2 laptops.
In two books, the battery while AC is plugged.
I think the latest battery technology allows to use the battery and the power adapter at the same time and it affects doesn t the battery strong performance.

But my 9 years into the first computer battery laptop doesn't work anymore. He died after about 2 years of use. Now, it lasts for about 1 min, then it s empty.
But the battery is old and it is nothing unusual.

Your battery is going to die also sooner or later, but in my s TI doesn't matter if the battery is inserted and that the AC adapter is plugged in or not.

    Hello

I have a satellite pro p200 - 17 c I've had good years, allways worked without any problem.

Last week when I booted the laptop, windows won't load and I find myself safe mode selection screen. No options whatsoever me to windows loading, I tried F8 and still nothing.

But if I try to load windows from an OEM to install that software does not because it is a sata drive and there is no floppy drive. I have an external floppy drive I use, but it is not known now.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hello

Go to BIOS and set it to default settings.

In this case the SATA mode must be on AHCI. In this case the SATA drivers are required to install the Windows operating system. But as much as I know that Windows 7 already contains the SATA drivers if usually you don t had to add SATA drivers while OS installation the installation program.

However, here is a nice HowTo document that helps you add SATA drivers for Win XP installation disc.
