My UK Touchsmart 300 will work in the United States?

I bought my Touchsmart 300 at the United Kingdom 2 years ago.  Now, I'm moving back to the United States and bring it with me.   I have an adapter for it and if so, what kind?

Ed,

Yes, I meant the laptop as power supply. However, since it has an internal power supply, please provide the full name of the HP model and/or the name of the product to the computer in question. I'm trying to determine if the power supply is auto-allant 100 to 240 volts as laptop power supplies are.

Information of a product number: VG255AA / name of the model: HP TOUCHSMART 300-1025UK indicates that the internal power supply looks like;

This picture shows clearly... of 100-240 v, while the first image does not display a red switch. This should indicate that the power is automatic. Now, if your computer uses the same power supply... you can be good to go, just using a computer 110V US cable.

    My family will travel to the United States to the Mexico.  Do I need to change anything on my phone about my temporary location when I reached my destination so my map app will work properly in MX or the GPS automatically adjusts?  I ask because I don't want to go & have my battery to grind to stop as he tries to understand my new location.  I have an IPhone5, iOS 9.2.  How to make the change if the change is necessary?

    Your phone gets your location by connecting to the GPS satellites. Using location services works with battery. However, it will not use more independently connect to the Mexico it makes when it finds your place here.

    When you do need to make sure to do is to contact your cellular carrier and make sure that your account is enabled for international roaming and you understand what can be the cost.

  • My iPhone purchased USA will work in the United Kingdom?

    I'm visiting the United States in a few weeks and I'm looking to buy an iPhone 7 so I'm here, right in saying that it is unlocked, it will work perfectly once I am back in the United Kingdom with my UK SIM card?

    Hello bigbigdan1000,

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    I understand your message you will buy an iPhone Unlocked 7 while in the United States and want to know if there is work, when you return to the United Kingdom. You will need to buy the T-Mobile or AT & T version of the iPhone in the United States, a GSM model, so he could work in the United Kingdom. Additionally, make sure that you buy the version without SIM card, you are free to use a SIM card from any carrier that provides service for iPhone.

  • My site works in the United States but not in the Canada (I know sounds crazy)

    I have a client in the Canada who is having a few problems of very annoying site. The problem is when I test the site here in the United States, it works fine. I clear my caches and test the site on Chrome/Safari/Firefox and it works fine. I have my client the same thing, but they still run questions.

    They say the site:

    (1) takes more than 20 seconds to load, it takes only 8 seconds here in the United States.

    (2) they tell me that when they try and share a link on directly linked from the blog, they get a 404 error.

    (3) they say that the site does not work on the iPhone 5.

    Yet once, all these things have been tested here in the USA and I'm not able to replicate questions. What in the world could possibly happen?

    Here is the link to the site Kneed | Home

    Thank you

    Well, you use widgets 'localized' like the one for the card that, depending on the regions and the Internet, location of the provider may give different reslts, possibly including break completely, then the carrier of the supplier registration point to a different location than the one you are actually. The rest could be simply regional caching problems with TypeKit and your images and videos, but even on my fast fiber your page access charge with delay due to a large images used. The 404 would probably also fall into this category - you are being invited to a different resource at the regional level rather than one you do reference on the page. Loading times are also confirmed by your own comments - another 8 seconds is something that I would find much too long on what should be a simple thing. You need to spend time optimizing everything and check when cross-border is the features that you use, somehow...

  • HP HDX model 1180us will work in the United Kingdom?

    Can anyone tell if laptop of model 1180US HDX works OK at the United Kingdom?

    Hi st2412,

    Thank you for you inquiry, I am happy to help you.

    You will need an adapter to convert the power of 240 volts and 120 volts. (The laptop requires a power supply 120)

    You should be able to buy one for a reasonable price. For your convenience, here is a link to a Google search on them, adapter from 240 to 110 volts for Google Search.

  • HP Pavilion 27xi US power adapter will work in the United Kingdom?

    Hi, I am trying to import the HP Pavilion 27xi to the United Kingdom that HP won't seem to be released in Europe and I love the look of this montor, I must have it. My question is will be connected the adapter that comes with the work of the American model in the United Kingdom with a UK power cable or do I need some sort of votage converter.

    Cheers.

    raven77,

    These external power supplies used with laptop computers, monitors, televisions, computers AIO, etc. generally have a range of voltage of 100v - 240v alternating current. Just her remember, I went and looked up the specs of the HP Pavilion 27xi 27 inch diagonal IPS LED backlit screen. This page has not had the information I was looking for, so I enterd the HP p/n in HP PartSurfer's who stated that the following HP products also use same power supply external;

    2511 x 25 inches diagonal screen ACL from HP
    HP 2711 x 27-inch diagonal LCD monitor
    HP 25BW MONITOR
    HP PAVILION 25xi 25 inch IPS MTR WE
    HP PAVILION 27XI 27 INCH IPS MNT WE
    HP Pavilion 27bw 27 inch IPS MNT WE

    I then looked at the specs for the HP 2711 x 27-inch diagonal LED display who, according to the HP PartSurfer, uses the same power supply as the HP 27xi and found the following;

    -AC/DC adapter rated input power source: 100 to 240 v ~

    Frequency: 50 ~ 60 Hz

    Power consumption: 40 Watts max power consumption (30 Watts typical energy consumption).<1 watt="" energy="" saving="">

    On this basis the external power supply for HP 27xi should accept 100-240v, 50-60 Hz input and function as expected. You should only need a compatible power cable to connect the power supply to the sector.

  • With the help of my outside of the United States Pavilion dv4

    I found very conflicting about whether or not I can use the AC adapter supplied with my Pavilion d4 to recharge my laptop outside the United States where power is 220 volts.  Many sources I found on the internet said, what you need is an adapter for the plug, but do not need anything to convert the power from 220 to 110.  HP FAQ say in one place "If you use a power adapter to work outside the United States, you can have problems charging the battery... "' Solution: H and Compaq power adapters are configured for World Wide specifications voltage and frequency." They don't require power conversion", but then in another section, he says:"laptop HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario computers sold the ship to the United States and Canada with adapters that are not designed for use with international power source. However, there are a variety of cards available in stores tha will allow the computer laptop adapters operate in different countries. "So which adapter should I... There are many different kinds, but when I try to know what kind I need... the answer always seems to be that I didn't really need one!  Help!  I would like to take my laptop with me... it's one of the main reasons I bought it. Thank you

    jealous of your trip in Russia.

    But yes, HP just to be careful.  But that the AC adapter is rated for 110-240 v, so it will be able to handle the power from the sale in Russia, make sure that you get this Type C plug adapter.

    Can I keep my itunes account in the United Kingdom and add applications to the United States on my account so that the United States pls.?

    How long you will be in the United States? To use the US store, you must be physically located in the United States, have issued US credit card and billing address in the United States on this credit card. Without it, you won't be able to change for the US store. And, you can only change stores every 90 days.

    Hi, I bought a the United States iphone6, im now in South Africa and it will not work. It says sim not supported.how do I fix this?

    The SIM card is not support indicates that the iPhone is locked to the American carrier that it has been activated with. In order to obtain the released lock it is necessary that you talk to the carrier to find out what their requirements are to release the lock. They are the only ones who unlock it so that it can be used with another carrier.

  • Photos will work on the Mavericks?

    Photos will work on the Mavericks? I'm not eager to update both BONES of my wife and her photo app

    No, Photos is a part of Mac OS X and will be installed by OS X 10.10.3 or newer.  You can install pictures by installing an OS X version which includes the relevant system libraries.

    Your wife is now running the Mavericks? Or what system you are upgrading?  with the Mavericks, she would need iPhoto 9.5.1 if it has previously used iPhoto. This update is no longer available on the appStore.
