My video/cursor does not start if I call it from a script

I'm new to the TIARA. So, I created a graphic interface that loads a video and a curve in tiara and is supposed to play these sync, but will play the curve or the video. I added a button to test the function of reading as described in help tiara, but it won't play either.

Void Button1_EventClick()
This Dim: Set the Button1 =
Dim oMySheet: Set oMySheet = View.ActiveSheet
oMySheet.ActiveArea.DisplayObjType = 'Video '.
oMySheet.ActiveArea.DisplayObj.FileName = "D:\PathToMyVideo\myvideo.avi".
oMySheet.Cursor.XRangeMode = "automatic".
Call oMySheet.Cursor.GotoStart
Call WndOpen ("VIEW")
Call oMySheet.Cursor.Play (FALSE)
End Sub

What else I must hold account before you can start a script slider?

Hi Lucas,.

Thank you for the files SUDialog and script - with them I was able to reproduce immediately the effect you described.  I found that the problem goes away when I call your SUDialog as a modeless dialog box instead of as a regular modal SUDialog.  I think that it is quite possible that you prefer to have a modeless SUDialog, so I join you edited SOUTH and VBS files to call the dialog box so that it persists even after the end of the calling VBScript file.

If you decide that you need a modal SUDialog, I will continue to investigate this matter and see if we can avoid the problem with a modal dialog box.

See you soon,.

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    Since your iSight webcam works up to the time that your Mac goes to sleep, I would like you to start please help desk trying to replicate this problem then to reboot in safe mode:

    1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

    2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

      You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

  • After a breakaway of electric failure does not start, or I can boot from the cd that the drivers won't load

    I get the logo and the system beep.  Seems to hang for about 2 minutes then tricking black screen reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.  When I insert the dvd-rom supplied with the pc recovery, it takes about 4 minutes for so-called load windows and off to install windows for me.  No matter what I select, I'm only able to download the drivers that may be defective and then find and I can retry or cancel.  If I try again once I get the same cycle but I can't get into windows, nor can I access any of the disk recovery tools.  I can't enter the Bios or any other file.  I tried power market and stop and start cold without result.  The pc was in hibernation because of non-use, but had been shut down when the crash occurred.  It is on a surge protector.  I could really use some help and appreciate suggestions - I'm a little computer but certainly not a tech guru.   Thanks for any help.

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

    ·         What exactly happens when you turn on the computer?

    ·         You get the error message?

    If you are not able to boot in the BIOS there is a problem with the hardware. I suggest you contact the computer hardware manufacturing for this problem.

  • Presario SR5130NX bad video embedded - does not start

    I have a Compaq Presario SR5130NX equipped with a LCD HP vp17 using the onboard video. It is Windows Vista. The PC won't POST. There is no display at all with the exception of a brief message on the LCD indicating no video signal on a port, but there is a code beep BIOS 1 short, 1 long repeated. I can't find the meaning of this combination of beep codes anywhere, but I guess he's trying to say is that I have a video problem. Set apart this, fans turns on and the hard disk rotates. So far, I did the following to solve the problems-

    • Connected the LCD screen to another PC to check if it works.
    • Removed and reinstalled the 2 sticks of RAM DIMMS.
    • Insert a video card into the PCIe x 16 card slot and tried the VGA and DVI cables - no change.
    • Tried to get into the BIOS by F10 key - do not know if it worked because there is no signal display.

    I solved my problem when I realized that, even if I deleted and reinstalled the DIMMS, I neglected to test them individually (duh). One was bad.

    ·         Did you do the software/hardware changes or windows update on the computer before the show?

    ·         You're able to boot in safe mode

    ·         You get the error message?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Disconnect all external devices and try to start the computer.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

    Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

  • Vista will not load and continually reboots, recovery disk does not start.

    I have a Dell with vista on it. Recently, it has automatically installed an update and now it does not load Windows at all. It goes to the screen where I have the opportunity to "start in safe mode" "safe mode with command promt", "last known good configuration" etc. and none of these work options (all start loading them upwards and then the computer restarts just itself).

    I tried to put in the cd of installation for vista, but it won't start. I changed the options in the BIOS so that it starts from the CD first, but then it just goes to another blue screen that says: there was some sort of system faliure, and the only option is to restart the computer.

    I also tried to connect an external dvd player to see if he was not playing the disc because of a defect in material, but the same thing happens.

    I also tried out the RAM and it put it back again (a single website suggested I try this).

    Nothing seems to work! And now, I am out of options and have no idea what to try next - help!

    If it does not start where install Recovery DVD from Dell, you will need to contact Dell at the above address.
    As you say, you have changed the boot on the appropriate drive order and still nothing

    It would seem that you have a deeper problem that just a straight reinstall the problem.

  • NB200 does not start after the bios - screen black screen with blinking cursor

    Hello

    I was using the laptop as usual when I think there may have been a virus activity - reason I say that is that my anti-virus closed unexpectedly. I couldn't restart programs files.

    I restarted the laptop.

    After the bios menu will I get a blank screen with a blinking cursor - windows does not start.

    I did the following:
    (1) create a USB bootable with Recovery Console window XP - boot with this i can see three drives C:, D: as SDA? I can see the content of these disks, so it seems that my HD works. I ran a fixmbr and fixboot, but this has not solved the problem.
    (2) create a Kaspersky bootable USB virus scan - ran it without problem - he found a few question (not on the disk boot sector) I've fixed.

    An option was to copy files from the laptop and then start it in recovery mode - so Itried to run the phone into recovery mode hold down the 0 key at startup - the bottom of the screen then displays * HDD Recovery mode * and nothing happens.

    Any help - other options would be greatly appreciated.

    My 1 year of that guarantee has expired a few months back so can't send in for repair.

    Thank you

    Hello

    I doubt that it is a virus.
    Seems the file system is damaged on the HARD drive and this is the reason why the laptop does not start until it could also be a partition of HARD disk malfunction.

    Try this; Turn on the unit, press F8, and then check if you have the laptop repair.
    If this is not possible, then you will need to reinstall new OS.

    Here you can order a recovery disc:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx
    Of course you will need an external USB CD/DVD drive

    If stereo 3D effects are not well use X-tune to calibrate it.
    It is recommended to use this utility to optimize the 3D stereo effects when you use the 3D without glasses for the first time or to be dissatisfied by the 3D effects.

    To use the X-Tune utility, follow the steps below:
    1. Select the language mode and optimization, and then click OK. There are three optimization modes: primary, advanced and professional. You can choose according to your own experience.
    2 sitting about 60 cm from your computer, click Start to continue.
    3. follow the onscreen instructions on each step.
    4. use the left or right side of the keyboard arrow key to adjust the effect. When you are satisfied with the effect, click on enter and then an information window appears on the screen. Press the keyboard ESC key to cancel the optimization procedure.
    5. click on Finish to close the X-Tune utility.

    You said that your face recognition does not work correctly so uninstall this software. This also with the software/driver for webcam. Once these two tools has been uninstalled, clean the registry with CCleaner and install these two tools using the most recent version.
    Restart and start X-Tune to calibrate the 3D effects.

  • computer does not start after installing video card

    I, m new here so please bear with me.  I have a PC HP Pavilion Media Center TV (m7434n) I'm trying to replace the video card (Nvidia GeForce 6200SE with Turbo Cache) in. I am trying to replace it with a Nvidia EVGA 8400GS. I delete all the nvidia drivers, make sure that the pci-e card is used in the implementation. I have then to remove the old card and install a new one. When I try to start the computer, fans turn on but that's all.  There is nothing on the monitor.  The computer does not start. I replaced the power supply bestec 300 watts with a new antec brand 430 watt power supply.  When I reinstalled the old video card, the computer starts ok. I tried to replace the video card with an ATI Radeon HD5550 too and it's the same thing (the computer would not start), reinstall the old card and it starts up fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Gary,

    You may have a compatibility issue with the ATI HD 5550 and 2006 PC model.  I've seen other posts where ATI 5xxx video card did not work in older HP PCs.

    When you are referring to the installation of the older video card do you mean going back to the integrated video card?  Moving the video cable to the card installed?

    Install the NVIDIA 8400GS and connect the video cable. Now follow the instructions for clear the CMOS.

    Toshiba Satellite A85 Celeron with XP Home edition. Windows does not start. I have Toshiba logo screen, then it turns into a black screen with the upper left corner of the cursor. I have the recovery disk. Is it possible to record HD without re-formatting and losing all data?

    Thank you;

    Lobo77

    If you run the Toshiba recovery application, you will lose all your data.  As indicated in the warning, this application will restore the computer back to wherever it was when it was first delivered by the factory.

    Without other complementary diagnostic information, it is difficult to determine what is happening.  Pressing the key (do not hold) of F8 beginning immediately after that the sequence of power should bring you to the Advanced Boot Options menu.  Try again then press repeatedly the key rather than pressing on and now.

    The recovery CD Toshiba, you have probably does not allow a "repair installation".  Contact Toshiba to see if they will provide you with a suitable CD.

    Given the fact that you can get a useful place when you start with the Toshiba Recovery DVD, my guess is that the computer is OK but that the hard drive has failed - or maybe more likely - the startup information is damaged so that it does not start.  If you have access to a computer equipped with a burner, download and create a bootable Windows CD.

    There are a number of available bootable CD which include various recovery and diagnostic tools.  You'll have to do some research to find out how to use the tools.

    Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows
    Ultimate Boot CD
    Hiren BootCD

    If you feel overwhelmed by the tools and I just want back the data, and then use the Toshiba Recovery DVD, make you a Knoppix CD and use this key to your data, preferably on a network connection.

    If all this sounds like too much for you - and there is no shame in admitting that--take the laptop for a good local computer repair shop (not a type BigBoxStoreUSA or rather GeekSquad) and ask them to check it out and make sure to recover your data before anything else.

    Hello

    Try the system restore before you did it again at:

    How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html
    ==========================================

    If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

    Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
    Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

    Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

    This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

    Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

    Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
